I support L but I can see where kira is coming from in theory a world without criminals would be good because it would be a safer place for people who live good honest lives. But in some cases people are put into situations where they have no choice but to break the law and not all people who are put into jail are guilty granted most of them are but it does happen. And in the long run light kills innocent people so that he won't get caught which is completely against what he was trying to do in the first place. I beleive no one should have that kind of power because eventually you become power mad and power hungry. And light doesn't realize that after he has taken care of all the criminals he will be the only criminal left and people will not see him as a god they will see him as a dictator and people will not want to follow him they will only do so for self preservation and people won't love him they will fear him and in my opinion it would not create a better world in the end.

I really like the main plan of Kira, to make a better world. But the fact that he went power hungry really saddens me. But hey, most people would.

They're both so contradicting. Kira kills people who kill people and calls that justice. L wants to kill Kira for killing people and calls that justice. In the end they're both using death as a punishment and as a crime, so, basically, they're the same thing.
I can't chose one over the other with this lack of logic, but I have to say I adore both of the characters very, very much! Kira and L rule! |

Care to guess? wink I liked Light until he started acting like a jerk and playing with people's emotions. He lost sight of his goal eventually and from then on out it was just an ego-trip for him. As anonymous says, Light/Light is the most canon pairing in Death Note. And he reminds me too much of the friend in my signature, too. Besides, I'm narcissistic, I like characters that remind me of myself. So it was inevitable that L win me over. |
