Please don't hate me for this everybody, but I never understood this anime. First off I thought kikyo was dead in a sort of way and a person who possesses a body of dead soil and clay, plus catches the souls of the innocent to stay alive? Like what is he going to do with a dead person, she can't feel anything. Well, never mind because she was in pain when she was stroke and killed. Besides, she was trying to drag Inuyasha down to the lower pits of an inferno fire of hell with her.

Then there's Kagome. Isn’t' she 15 years old and in love with a demon that's over 50 years old? Even knowing demons doesn't age like humans; she will die before him anyway by natural causes if he doesn't die in battle by his brother or somebody else. So why should he be with any of them? Could anybody tell me why should he?

To me, there is always a third option. From reading the first chapter to the 36th (only because my library can't but any volumes beyond 36), Inuyasha is with Kagome more than Kikyo, but still has feelings for her. But as always, I pair Inuyasha with Kagome (because I like her saying "Sit!" for comedic purposes) and is basically one of the characters that most people tend to support (I'm not sure about how many, including that of Japan).
