Does 4Kids screw every anime up on purpose?

Well, a few years ago when I actually saw One Piece for the first time on 4Kids, I actually enjoyed it. XD I mean the show was meant for kids, and I actually really enjoyed it even with the awful rap opening.

It's 4Kids so it has to be okayed for kids to watch. No blood, swear words, drugs/alcohol, no real weapons, no true violence, so pretty much taking away the main plot of most Animes. It would be like putting Kuroshitsuji on there and taking out the butler.
