Sailor Moon was originally a anime porn idea but that didn't fly to well, so it was decided to change minor details to make it a normal anime!

Sailor Moon was my first anime ever! I even have one of the movies on VHS and collecting the rest on DVD. smile )

As a kid, I watched Sailor Moon after school on Toonami. Last year, I decided to watch it in japanese, because one of my friends said it was even better that way. He was right. I now own the entire series and the three movies on dvd. Best purchase ever.
What do you like about Sailor Moon?

I don't know. I have watched both english and japanese versions of all seasons. I actually think I liked the english version better for season 1. Season 2 was a tie. All the others japanese was probably better. (Except ofcourse Stars, where it was never dubbed in english, so no comparison can be drawn.)

I grew up on Sailor Moon. It got me hooked onto anime before I even knew what it was. I still love it. I'm pretty excited over the re-release of the manga too. I picked up volume 1 not too long ago.

thats the very first anime show i ever watched when i was a little girl haha im thinking of watching the show all over again since i don't remember much about it any more. its kind of sad not remembering your first anime.

HECK YES! i have all 3 movies and the S season on DVD i've been obsessed with this anime since i was 3 and yor friend is a smart one i'm going back through it in japanese

I love sailor moon. It was my first anime...at the time I didn't know it was anime it was just a cartoon show that would come on very early in the morning.

Oh for the fun facts of Sailor Moon it was actually written by a guy who is gay and that is why even in the later seasons there are guys who turn into girls when they "transform"

I still love Sailor Moon.

Another false fact. Naoko Takeuchi was married to the creator of YuYu Hakusho, Yoshihiro Togashi.

Quite pretty for a gay guy. Regardless, I would love to finish reading the manga. I barely got up to Queen Beryl and all the other stuff after that. Sadness!
