Kubo himself has said that their relationship is not romantic, so I doubt it. I wouldn't be surprised if the manga ended with nobody getting together with anyone.

Referring to the comment above, Kubo stated that the two were neither friends nor lovers. In a different interview, when asked if Ichigo and Rukia would pair up, he said that he could neither confirm nor deny that.

I'm alright with either pairing, since I adore RenRuki as well, but I personally ship IchiRuki. If Kubo were to make any Ichigo pairing cannon though, he is sure to receive hate one way or another. I feel kinda bad for the man. With Bleach entering it's final arc though, I guess we're that much closer to finding out what truly happens.

Ichigo and Rukia as a couple? *barf*

Sorry, don't see it. Yes, they care for each other and whatnot, but it's not LOVE. They are way too much like eachother, and give off a mentor/student, brother/big sister vibe. One major reason I don't see them together is that I can't see Ichigo leaving his family and friends and going to Soul Society to be with her. And I don't see Rukia leaving her brother, and Renji to get a gigai and live with Ichigo. If you read the Manga, there is nothing romantic between them, but the Anime with ridiculous OOC fillers has IchiRuki moments that can be considered romantic. But they don't count, and same with the movies. It's all just fanservie I guess. Ichigo did sacrifice a lot to save her, but it was all to repay a debt. She gave him her powers which saved HIS FAMILY. He's be a total douche if he didn't go and try to save her.

I see Ichigo with Orihime, and Rukia with Renji. From the beginning Orihime was set to be Ichigo's love interest, even if he doesn't realize it. Why would Kubo Tite give her 3-4 pages in the manga of confessing her love for him, and then not put them together at the end?

But this is my opinion. You never know, Kubo might surprise us.
