Plastic Crack obsession is the best way I can describe my collection, Ill try and post pics in the next day or so razz

Working on my Human Alliance and Alternators collection, Got a HA Derpflap today from a friend, also got a Classics Smokescreen, and a Classics Silverstreak(who hopefully will end up being a Classics Bluestreak razz ) I should be getting a KO Devy from him soon as well, and his Classics Inferno, missed it the first time around lol

Didnt really start in G1, started collecting during the Beast Wars Era, moderately skipped Beast Machines, except for my Black Arachnia, and really only touched the Unicron Trilogy for the Omnicons in Energon, The main Autobot Cast in Armada(Hot Shot, Smokescreen, Blurr, and Red Alert, although It's the repaint as Inferno from TFTM), and a few deluxes in Cybertron(Unicron Tank, Hot shot, Crosswise, Shortround(although i know he`s not a deluxe razz ), and the smokescreen mold).

Still trying to find an Animated Leader Magnus and a Voyager Blackout. Have quite a bit of the Animated and Classics lines. Wish It all wasnt in storage tho >.<

I have at least twenty transformers, not including approximately ten min transformers. But my pride and glory is a starscream with one of those heat changing decepticon symbols on his wing.

This past Christmas my niece had gotten a Transformer, a couple of days later she asked me to turn it into a car, and try as I might I couldn't figure it out despite the instructions... When I was a kid it was far easier to put our transformers( more like my brother's) back into vehicle mode and vice versa.

the movie verse ones are rather complicated and the instructions are beyond useless.

If you ever need help in the future try youtube. I find if I'm really stuck they tend to help.

My friend sold all his SHELVES of Transformers for over $2000. Even his Music Label Soundwave.

My collection is limited to Cybertronian Megatron, Animated Soundwave, and a few classics in poor condition I got from yardsales.

One my favorite childhood memories was unwrapping Tyrannosaurus Megatron on Christmas!

lmao. I know the feeling. I sent a rather scathing email to them, not that it mattered I'm sure.

Ended up giving Takara-Tomy my money so I could get Cliffjumper and Bulkhead.

Their loss. Because I had to spend a crud load more money to get the Japanese versions I have far less money to give Hasbro.

No, I didn't do the minicon ones, though maybe I should have. haha. Not gonna worry about it.

Takara is still making the 1st editions as far as I know. I don't have mine in hand yet, but my pre-order came in Tuesday and I've heard several people say they have theirs already (I was in the second round of pre-orders where as the others where in the first). The store is a little slow with shipping things out but they're reliable. Never had an issue with them in the past and never heard of anyone having issues with them either.

BigBadToyStore (the place I mentioned above) still has most of the 1st edition up for order if you want one. The only one that's sold out is Optimus, but I seem to remember hearing he got canceled. No idea why.

The store is a little pricey but they're still cheaper than ordering them from Japan. And far cheaper than ebay (last I checked anyway).

I didn't test those waters, fearing they mightn't come out. But it seems Takara is more reliable than Hasbro. I half wonder if Takara ramped up their 1st edition productions because Hasbro screwed their customers over. If I ran a toy company I know I would, seeing as there's such a high demand for them. haha.

I think the main reason hasblow canceled the first was...It was too complex for the kids. I mean c'mon, I handled the ROTF and DOTM line, they're twice as hard as from what I've seen in the reviews...

I question their motives. They released the figures in Asia and Canada, but screwed the US over (as well as Europe, but that seems rather typical of them). Just comes across as a complete screw up in the marketing department. They released a statement a few days ago (and emailed everyone who send them a complaint) saying they never intended to sell them in the US anyway and stores only got the pre-orders because of a glitch in their systems.

I sometimes wonder if there are monkey's running the place -__- Who makes a toy and doesn't release it in their native country? Especially when there is a high demand for them.
