Binaltech is the Japanese versions of the Alternators. The only thing seperating them from their U.S. counter parts is the die-cast metal parts used instead of just plastic, and the $50+ price tag.

Well BinalTech also has much better packaging then alternators considering the plastic bubble around the figure itself but they are virtually the same. I'll be finding out when I get tracks in blue and yellow though if there are any other differnces.

Oh on a random side note. Its verified that Tracks is to be Blue for the US release. The reason is that the Yellow plastic turned out to be transparent so as they had planned a blue version anyway they decided to use the blue version so that you didn't have the translucent issue of the yellow. In turn the Japanese model remains yellow as the paint on metal obviously would not have the same overall issue.

His Japanese release date was August 7th so plan to see him showing up soon for sale.

That was ambitious, releasing a Fort Max repaint. Poeple think Unicron is huge, Fort/Brave Maximus is bigger! I hear that Brave didn't come with the origional weapons (gun and sword) though. sad

You are correct. Brave Maximus didn't come with any of his hand held weapons. Fortunately he has plenty more to spare. xd
