I know a few people
dressed her up in her phsy.dead outfit
that you can buy.

But then you have to turn her hair all brown
and make it in to an afro.
But i am not sure how well that would work.

I have two of the gloom beach
but I figured I would use the extra
frankie and draculaura for the day
at the maul.

I've thought about doing that too, actually. Curly brown hair is one of the easiest to find. It's just the pain in the butt of cutting all of her hair off and rerooting, which takes a long time if you do it right. My last rerooting job took about 10 hours all told (though it did require a LOT of hair).

What doll did you do?

I've done several, both with yarn and regular doll hair.

The dolls linked here are all my work. You have to click on the links to see them. The dolls pictured at the bottom of the page are just my personal Rainbow Brite collection. xd

The Batgirl doll linked above there is what took 10 hours. She has a surprisingly large amount of hair.



This is a custom doll I created using a 'hair dying' technique that uses watered down acrylic paints, a flea comb and a LOT of patience to tint the hair rather than rerooting. Turned out very good, though the hair is a bit stiff, which works for this doll.


Straight reroot. Took FOREVER too, because she has so much hair! And even worse, the doll's original hair was covered in glue to turn it into cat ears. Ugh!

I am currently still hunting Spectra! I went on a road trip recently and I stopped at every Walmart and Toys R Us I could find, but still no Spectra xD
Otherwise, I just need the two Lagoona's I'm missing, the DotD and School's Out.
I really hate the way the DotD doll looks, but I still feel like I should get it

I found mine on a friday at toy's r us if that helps at all.

I didn't want her DotD at first.
But its growing on me,
I really love her school's out.

of money for my birthday coming up
so i can get her dead tired.

I check my Toys R Us like every few days and nothing yet, I've noticed in my area that my TRU has all the Dead Tired stuff and the Fearleading pack, Target has the Class Room set and the Gloom Beach Pack, while my Walmart has the School's Out stuff and the new DotD stuff, but I'll keep checking everywhere xD
I thought I might like what they did with her DotD when I saw the art, but the doll I just don't like : I like parts of it, but it seems really random to me.
I love all the School's Out dolls, they're all really cute :]

I was really disappointed with the DofD Draculaura.

She is pretty, but she feel's so half assed.

I love that Ghoulia she's adorable!
I agree with you on the Draculaura though, I hate that they added stripes to that dress because I feel like they did it to hide that they didn't do the ruching like it is in her art :
