What are they like for posing?
Am I going for too big a doll at approx 65-70cm?

Sorry - I haven't read the entire thread (It's nearly 2.30AM here and I'm pretty pooped!)
I was just wondering if any of you have or have had any dolls from Iplehouse?

I discovered their Elder Jess sculpt before and fell in love with her. I'm tampering with the idea of her purchase though haven't heard much feedback on their dolls so was wondering if I should have any reservations about my purchase or is there anything I should be weary of purchasing from this maker? Is there somewhere else I should go?

She'd be my first high value BJD and the second in my collection. (I doubt you can call two dolls a collection though cat_sweatdrop ) I already have a naked, bald 27cm Volks. Though I am halfway through making her a wig cat_3nodding and will make some clothes soon - promise cat_whee

Any info would be greatly appreciated guys. Thanks in advance! x

I have two Iplehouse dolls and they are simply amazing. The resin quality is great. It's super smooth. Their peach gold skin is beautiful. Their faceups are amazing. You can even order a custom face up and they are good at delivering what you want as long as you give them very detailed instructions. Iplehouse's customer service is top notch. I haven't had a single problem dealing with them. You can also do a layaway on basic dolls. Their doll clothes are very good quality as well. I think that Iplehouse is an amazing company to buy from. I plan to buy more from them in the future. I want another JID and a few nYIDs.

I don't own an EID so I can't say much about their posing. I know that they just redesigned the joints on the EID bodies for betting posing. I haven't heard much about the improvements yet but I'm pretty sure they pose much better than the old bodies. Also, the mobility joint is a must if you want to extend the amount of poses that your doll can do. It's been very helpful with my dolls. My Soa can't stand pigeon toed without the mobility joint in use. It might be the same for their other dolls.

The one downside to owning an EID is finding suitable clothing. They are quite wider than other dolls in their own size range. Iplehouse offers a lot of clothing options and their are other companies that have some clothes but it'll be hard. If you really want to get Jessica you could always order her on the nYID body and your clothing options will increase by a lot. I've heard nothing but good things about the nYID bodies and their posing abilities.

Iplehouse has been doing great from a couple years ago. No complaints anymore. They had sent a doll pretty much Half finished n broken to , used to give crappy "self fix it" type tips. Such "wonderful" services they had. 9000% improvement from 4 years ago

Hm, I need to compare measurements for the EID's with Impl's Idol, since its definitely heftier than some 70cms. Maybe when I get him I can use him to make clothing for them. Speaking of, just paid for Alec today! She'll be shipping the heads soon! Can't wait to have a floating head, haha.

I'm planning on the idol body for my Chase, measurements match up closer than any other I've compared it to, along with Idealian and Mega Gem. It may be a long time till I have the money for that though.

I've been going through a lot in my life and my dolls have really been a huge help. I love to cuddle Minhyun. I think everyone needs a cuddle buddy. It makes me want an sd.

I own two older JIDs + a floating Tania head that I never finished moding. Over my course of years ordering from them I never ever had problems with poor customer services. Resin is very nice feeling, solid, and slightly heavy. Don't be scared on the myth of tan dolls turning green. That was their very first tan dolls (real skin) that yellowed rapidly. They since then improved their resin batch. My realskin Iple doll is 3-4 years old and she hadn't turned green yet. As for posing I am not sure with the older EID's I know both of my JID are on their original bodies and they poses great for not having double joints like the newer bodies have.

I say go for it. Iple is a great company and their dolls are worth every penny.

Thanks, I've decided on a custom nYID with a Jessica head thanks to the information Stokiaci provided me with before. Now I just have to wait 'til they have slots open >-<

I'll be ordering from the UK so I'm just a little worried now about shipping prices & time. I'm hoping to get an order in next month (1st if possible as I read that's when they take custom orders - unsure if it's correct for every month) and hoping she'll be here before September. I understand it's roughly 50-60 days without make-up and I'll be requiring make-up so expect more of a delay.

I want her to be ready for the anime convention I'll be attending. Am I going too far giving her her own cosplay? cat_whee

Oh my goodness, I had a two-day street poetry course, I couldn't get online much. x-x I expect I'll be busy til Tuesday. I have decided to buy Souldoll Zenith Ossian B as soon as I can. The 'Limited' sign is making me go crazy!

Spazmy - The CDS is open from the 1st-15th of every month, and you don't have to worry about grabbing a slot. Iplehouse is actually really quick with their orders! I ordered Minhyun 2-14 and had him in my home by 3-29, and that's with a face up! I don't know if custom dolls take longer though, but you should have her long before Sept! I'm really glad I was able to help you out.

Right now as my house is kinda unliveable as we're demo-ing a lot of it to rebuild it many are in boxes, but some are in my basement and being displayed here with me while I stay at my father's house
