I have a Samantha doll. heart her. I take her out on special occasions. My dad went through a lot of pain to get her because I got her the year the movie came out on tv though i had wanted her years before. The movie finally convinced my dad that it was ok. Besides I look just like Samantha.

That is so cool. I also like to take out my AG dolls every once in a while too. smile

Thanks! I like to take her out at Christmas an "play" with her. (Dressing her in different outfit to fit the occasion) My sister thinks I'm crazy because I'm nearly 20 and still own an AG doll. But you just know when you treasure something and my Samantha doll is one of my treasures.

Ah there is nothing wrong with collecting dolls. I've actually basically moved on to Pullips and BJDS now so I plan on selling a few. It's such a shame but they hardly get any attention anymore!

So, how is the quality lately? I've heard mixed reviews about the Mattel versions of the doll.

Last doll I bought new was fine quality, but some of the clothes don't fit right. :/
