Look into dying your hair with henna instead, it's completely natural and only coats the keratin, doesn't penetrate the hair. You still get nice, radiant colouring that lasts 1-3 months like a semi hair colour without the chemicals. As for after care, coconut oil treatments and essential oils would be worth looking into
