Welcome to Gaia! ::

I'm a diet, and have been unusually successful these past few days and would like to continue my good results. However, I have to go to dinner with my co-workers tonight ("have to" in that I have to socialise in terms of the workplace...I currently work in Japan, it's their culture) and we are going to eat yakiniku (fried beef) which I guess is the alternative to going for a steak in Western areas. I'm obviously going to be careful with the amount I eat, cut back on carbs, and try to eat more salads, but I'm scared that I'll put all the weight back on that I've lost.
I have a little bit of time after I go home before I leave to go to the dinner, but I was wondering what would be more effective - squeezing a 10 to 15 min workout before I eat or doing it later at night after I eat? (I'm hoping it won't run on till too late)

Any tips or advice would be great, thanks!
Squeezing in time to burn it off before and after is best if you don't want to see the effects the next day. Besides focusing on salads eating a good amount of lean protein is great for a diet.
Remember to drink a lot of water before the meal and all day after. And another tip is to try and be happy and content with the food you're getting, if you seems displeased other people will try to help which is just offer you something of theirs that you can't have.
Stay strong!

I would recommend you to exercise a bit before the dinner and eat an apple.
The reason for this being that exercise will accelerate your metabolism for at least 48 hours (can't hope to burn the calories in 15 minutes, really), and the chemicals contained in an apple will help your body manage the fat in a healthier way (you won't absorb as much).
