Scab Treatments

Hello. I got a fat lip at my haunted house the other night and did not know it at the time. It has been two days and I am only just now icing it. I didn't know it has scabbed, and I had accidently opened the scab slightly putting on my face paint for today. What is best for treating a scab on a lip? The swelling I don't care about. It's the bloody scab that hurts and the raw skin that's there because of it.
