I've never heard of Tigerman / Bunnyman, but no, it is not.
It's a superhero anime. You can watch all the episodes for free on Hulu!

I highly recommend it. It's my second favorite anime series.

These people don't know what their talking about.

Tiger & Bunny is an soon to be in English Anime about a superhero duo.

Kotetsu is a single father and an old man in the superhero world, but he has a good heart wanting to protect people, even if that means damaging the city, and make his daughter proud of him even if she will never know his superhero alter-ego Wild Tiger. Barnaby Brooks Jr is the son of late robotic scientist who is out to avenge his parents, but can't remember who did it even if the person was right in front of him. Well educated he is put in a duo team with Kotetsu because they share the similar power of times their natural abilities (speed, strength, healing, ect.) by 100 for five minutes.

Ingredients in it are:

American Superhero with Japanese tropes, action, and comedy. Blended well.
