I didn't read the comic but alot of people are telling me that he should have dead last season.

Lol, you should know that producers/ect never follow the book or comic or video game.
Movies are TV series are always different because if they were the same storyline and everything that happened in said comic.
People would lose interest very quickly because they would already know what would happen.
