Okay, can someone tell me....iffen I missed it....
if everyone is "already infected" and all they had to do to kick that dormant virus in them into high gear is die, then how come a single bite also will make you die and reanimate as a zombie?
I mean,
if it's already in your system, how the heck is a bite going to make any difference?
EDIT: I'm new to this particular forum and altered the first post to comply with spoiler rules as I saw afterwards.
It's not the bite exactly that kills you it's the infection of it afterwards. We haven't seen people recover from being sick or infections(Actual ones not the zombie virus one) without the aid of powerful medicine, for all we know the germs give you the fever that your body just doesn't fight till you die.
T-dog had that horrible cut that nearly killed him if it wasn't for merl's top of the line antibotics he had for his clap and andrea wasn't getting better by resting alone and had to get medicine from woodbury to get better from her sickness too.
