Something I thought was good for the season let me know what you think of my zombie themed Christmas story.

Twas' the night before Christmas and all through the house
not a creature was stirring not even the zombie mouse.
From the corner a growl was heard, as the zombie dog dreamed.
The half decayed children, all asnooze in their beds,
while dreams of disembodied limbs danced in their heads.
Then Santa came down the chimney after watching Dawn of the Dead.
With horrific thoughts of blood oozing from his head.
The zombie mouse stirred smelling a possible meal.
The reindeers on the roof would make a 9 for 1 deal..
Every zombie in the house began to move,
groaning and growling, toward the plentiful meal.
“Something’s not right here.”
Santa thought as tendrils of fear
Is what Santa began to feel.
His reindeer snorted and stomped before taking flight,
Away from the death,
and away from the decay.
St. Nick tried calling them back,
“Come Dasher! Come Dancer! Come back Prancer and Vixen!
Don’t go Comet, don’t go Cupid! Stay, stay Donner and Blitzen!
We’ll sacrifice the mutant with the glowing red nose!”
But alas to the once jolly old man,
The mutant with the glowing red nose,
Lifted his tail to drop his own kind of load.
Away they flew as not one but two zombies began to chew.
The dog latched on to what was defiantly something didn’t want to lose.
Sara, once marked nice on his double checked list,
Took a big bite out of his wrist.
As the rest of the family joined,
They enjoyed Christmas breakfast just fine,
Til’ St. Nick groaned and rose,
Ready to eat those next on his list.
He lumbered along, twelve feet of innards dragging behind him,
To the next house to spread his grisly gift.
A zombie eternity to the naughty and the nice.
He groaned and growled something nearly intelligible,
“Merry Zombistmas to all, and to all a quick bite!!”
