I was just thinking about making smores. It's would be nice to have a nice bonfire and cook up some marshmallows. Then making the cracker/chocolate and marshmallow sandwiches would be yummy.

Pumpkin soup has onions, garlic, red pepper, curry, lots of pumpkin, chicken broth, milk, brown sugar, and cream. It's really good

that sounds amazing. *drools*

There was pumpkin soup everywhere in New Zealand. The one time I tried it(in Aukland) it didn't seem to have any of those ingredients. It seemed pretty tasteless. I should have tried it at another place. crying

Not even Pumpkin!! j/k. But that's why I prefer to make recipes myself. If I want something spicier, I add more curry, if not, just add more cream this time to cool it off.

I baked the pumpkin we picked up so we could use the meat (all of it) for cooking. Alas... there was nothing left to carve.. rolleyes

The one's that were in New Zealand were all green at that season. The pumpkin pie I had there tasted the same. I don't know about white ones, but I bet that some taste similar.

I made pumpkin soup and roasted pumpkin seeds on Wednesday, and now I'm going to make pumpkin pie and then I'm going to try making pumpkin juice! ( I have a recipe)

One of the only positive things about the christmas season would be eggnog. I often add a little something to it, vanilla or alcohol(none this year, I had a near overdose by accident this year redface ).

I can't wait to se it on the shelves again.
