Why does everyone love these books and the movie? I mean granted I haven't read the books and they are probably good but why all the fuss about the movie? The movies are never as good as the books.

I loved the books because I found the dystopia theme a refreshing change to the books I normally read. Also found the characters easy to relate too- overall I read the books before the film, did not like the character portrayal for the males as much but.. :3

The book has a lot of action and cool sci-fi stuff in it, so a lot of people would be eager to watch it in movie form.
