Welcome to Gaia! ::

I keep reading and scrolling through the forums and I was just curious about peoples opinion.

What was it about the books that struck to you the most?
What is it about it that you like the most? Either each individual book or all three together.
Which one would you reread and why?

I really enjoyed all three books equally. The whole series was written amazingly amazing x3. It's been a while since I picked up a good book to enjoy, mind you I am 23 yrs old.

I read all of them and enjoyed them, but the writing style infuriated me to no end most of the time. I'd have to stop reading for a while just to get my head on straight because sometimes the grammar was terrible.

Despite that, I think they have good entertainment value.
I liked the first book the most. I didn't really like the other two they were kinda ehh to me.

My favorite part about the books is the balance that they have. There's not to much romance that it's like a Nicholas Sparks book, and there's not to much gore that it repels me. I don't know haha, I think I liked it a lot because it fit my own personal preference.

I see what you mean. I think the part that annoyed me was Katniss not making up her mind in certain things until something bad happened. Other then that I believe it was pretty entertaining.

Oh yes. I enjoy the that it wasn't a complete happy ending book where something bad happens and it's quickly changed to a 'Oh happy moment, joy!'

How come only the first one?

With the second book, I think it was too similar with the first book. It's different and all that they deal with the Capitol more now, but other than that not much changed. Then with Mockingjay, it was just awkward. Suzanne made everything really confusing. I think that she tried to capture the action and depth that the other two had, but she kind of got lost and didn't really know where she was going with it.

I see what you're saying. The third book kind of needed a bit of guidance with the whole plot. I think it was more of a way, "Lets finish the book and get done with it." I am sure that wasn't the intention but it kind of got that way.

i loved the books
what struck me the most i think is the general story...it had a little bit of everything, an awesome heroine, action, death and a touch of romance...plus you fall in love with the characters even if there isnt much development...

also the reality of the storyline...they didnt make her amazing or powerful....yeah she was talented and an awesome hunter but she was realistic...whenever she got hurt, it took her time to heal and the ending (i know people were disappointed with the ending) it made sense to me...cant really explain why but it did

i have already re-read the series twice...i always cry crying

D'aww is okay.
I like that she made it more of a tragedy with a little happy ending then a happy ending with a little tragedy if that makes sense. I actually liked the ending lol!

I was reading Fifty Shades of Grey but hit a point were I was like "O.O Jesus I am 23 and I don't know if I should read this." I recently got Suzanne new book The False Prince.

Reeaddd itt. The Maze Runner series are my favorite books ever. I read them in one day.

I tried reading The Lucky One, but after the first few pages I just blanked out. My friend says just get to the middle of it, and it will be interesting. So I'ma take a crack at it again once I'm finished with the other books on my list.

I've been wanting to read The False Prince! It seemed really interesting.

Yeah the beginning it's a bit slow but then it actually starts getting pretty good.

It does! I was a bit skeptical of it since I am overly picky with books but when I read what it was about I was like :O Duuuuuuude. I want to read it.

Nope not yet. I might wait for Redbox unless someone I know *Cough couch* gets it bootlegged and lets me borrow it. I do want to see it, my sister told me it was pretty good.

Have you heard of Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James?
