I, for one was surprised how much I enjoyed the books when they came out. I, as a general rule, despise dystopian novels, but this was a series that actually worked.

I am not one to jump onto book bandwagons, having not read the Twilight series, or Harry Potter or even Lord of the Rings but I did feel compelled to read this series. I was not disappointed. I couldn't put the books down!
