Why does everyone like Kili?

Well he is 'suppose' to look attractive (and like the less dwarf looking guy of the gang) because every story needs one handsome dude that is going to get hooked up with a lead female character so that there is a romantic line in the stories.

In LOTR it was Aragorn and Arwen (even though Arwen hardly gets mentioned in the actual books but is buffed up for the romantic touch to the movies) and in The Hobbit it's it's Kíli and Mirkwood elf Tauriel, head of Thranduil's army (Who's probably going to be one of those typical buff chick women with a "look at me being a hardcore woman soldier, I can handle everything and pretend like I don't have emotions but I'm totally going to fall for the hot dwarf" attitude which I find very sad as I Evangeline Lilly is my #3 most disliked Actresses. (#1 is Keira Knightly and #2 is Michelle Rodriguez)

In away you could have seen it coming from miles away but it would have been more cliché if Thorin Oakenshield was the one eventually hooking up with Tauriel as he has such a strong hatred for elves xD
