I saw first with the high frame rate, and the second time with 24fps.
I preferred 24fps. Some of the actors' movements seemed almost jerky, and too real, in 48fps. I found this quite distracting. In 24fps, I did not notice this at all.
I only saw it only in HFR, so I can't compare it to itself.
The best way I can think to describe it, you know in some old movies, like Buster Keaton, they speed up the action a little bit? In big action sequences, it feels like that, even if they aren't moving that quickly. I enjoyed the HFR.
With 3D it really looks like you're watching life instead of a screen.
