I loved both, but I personally adore the LOTR trilogy at the moment. I still have to wait for the next two movies for The Hobbit to actually be certain though.

LotR. The Fellowship is in my top 5 favorite movies of all time, sooo... I was really hoping The Hobbit would be totally awesome, and as it was, I thought it was good. I think there will be an improvement as it goes on.. I hope....
It really bothered me that there were so many recycled shots and the lack of original score. It had the Misty Mountains song, which was awesome, but they used it waay too often. And when they weren't using it, it was just LotR score- which I love, too, but it would be nice if there was something else new or different.
I did however like that it resembled the Fellowship. It was more up-close and personal, and I like having Gandalf the Grey around. :3 And I kinda like that it was lighter and more kiddish.
But I'm sooo psyched for the next 2- BENEDICT CUMBERBAAAAATCH emotion_dowant

At this point I still like lotr better. Hobbit is more laid back but that extra feeling of tension in lotr just makes it more exciting. I'm hoping Hobbit will get better when we get to mirkwood.

I liked them both for different reasons.
The Lord of the Rings was much more serious, but the Hobbit was extremely fun and enjoyable.
Both are definitely going up there on my favourite movie list, but for different reasons.

I feel as if I quote you quite often but once again:
^ This. My thoughts exactly~!

Why thank you for the compliment but so are you! I love your signature photo and you've did a great job on blending in the ears with your natural skin. You rock the elvish look even with short hair!
