It's definitely good suspense for the next movie. I both hate and love that they don't give us a good look at Smaug, just glimpses and blurred outlines. I guess they're building up to the big reveal when Bilbo enters the mountain.

i think it's better so cat_3nodding technology will have gone, if even just a little, forward before they give the finishing touches to the movie where he's entirely shown, i imagine that to be better for Smaug "The Magnificent". cat_mrgreen
