Honestly, I am sick of all these threads that say "I hate emos" or "Emos suck". But, seriously I want to know why people just seem to plain dislike them. I just don't get this at all. If they hate them for being emotional. ((Which emo doe stand for, for all the morons out there that don't know.)) If that is why then why does people make fun of them? Wouldn't you think that that would just make them feel worse or any one for that matter?

I am just curious why people hate them and no I am not emo. Even though my profile says I am an emo kid. I got it just 'cause I like the background.

Feel free to ask me questions to see if you think I am emo. My friends call me it by the way.

I think stereo-types are stupid. I was one of those people that were friends with everyone. In middle school they never really catagorized anyone except the preps and what we called preps back then is completely different then what people call preps now. The word emo wasn't even around until a couple of years ago. It's something new that has started. People could stop stereo-typing just as quickley as they started. The problem is they won't.
