Trivial dilemma. my friend is having a party. I actually don't want to go because I'll be bored, there'll be nothing for me to do, I'll feel awkward, I barely know anyone there, and I dislike parties and people and people dislike me. However, I don't want to feel left out. It might be my only chance to go to a party ever.

On the same day, the Strangers with Candy movie is playing an hour away. I've been dying to see the movie. If the party starts late, I might still make it. But I doubt the party will start that late, and if it does, I doubt my parents would drop me off.
