Actually, children these days have it convenient, but it doesn't mean it's handed to them.
Because things have become so convenient, children are able to focus on more important things such as their studies.

The internet has offered more access to information.

The baby boomers actually have had it much easier. They haven't had to deal with awful mortgage, high taxes, high educational costs, or extreme mistrust from lenders. Their careless spending and debt is what we deal with.
