my mom did that once. my cat got flea anemia and he had to stay at the vets for a couple days while he was treated because he was so weak and lethargic and my mom called texted me during adult school "im sorry honey" so i ran out the room bawling and called her and she says "im just kidding hes fine but you owe me $150 fir this vet bill" i was so angry.
