Yikes! Tommarow we are going to a water park and im on my period.
I really want to swim and my only option is tampons!!! eek
I have never used it before, always pads, ive had my period for about half a year now. I really wanna try. So, I tried so many times and it just wont work! sad
Wont go in!
Please give advice! I need it to work, which ones do I buy ect...

Well, if anything, use ones with plastic applicators. And, uhh...I dunno, spend a lot of time poring over the little instruction pamphlet that comes in the box. There's no real way of explaining it clearly.

Use the really thin ones, and use plastic applicators - I think they hurt less. Oh, and bring lots of extras and change them frequently if you're going swimming. And if you cannonball in or dive sharply, they can pop out. eek

Anyway, try getting something with a plastic applicator.
Make sure it's your size too.

And whatever you do, do NOT tense up when putting it in, otherwise it'll hurt more.

Don't be worried about TSS (toxic shock syndrome) either. . . it'll only occur if the tampon's left in for a really long time. You shouldn't have to worry about it, because there's no way you could forget about the tampon, seeing how it's hard to forget a little cotton roll shoved up your v****a.
