Why do we get present on Christmas? I mean, it's not our b-day, its Jesus's... So I don't get it...

The whole gift giving part of christmas has nothing to do with the religous part of it.

I thought it was symbolic of the Wise Men giving Jesus gifts, but I'm not totally sure.

originally christmas was a pagan holiday about summat or other...
and the religious bit just got tied up with it to make it nicer.

maybe the pagan bit has summat to do with it?

and if there was no presents on christmas, i wouldnt get nearly as much over the period!

It is just one of those weird things that people do. It is kind of Easter. Oh my Jesus rose from the dead; hide the eggs. A lot of tradtions do not make sense at the surface.
