What the heck, pit (sometimes called 'front ensemble') isn't included on there? I love the vibraphone and marimba! I will never leave them!

Pit is included in Drumline (at my School)

At our school, Drumline is seperate. The people who can play paradiddles on their skull are the ones on snare and bass drum, the ones who are too lazy to march are in pit, and the ones who do neither play crash cymbals.

My sophomore year, the ENTIRE drumline was gorgous.
But then my senior year
they were doofy. And I was good friends with the section leader, so I was allowed to mess with them. xd

I'm not in marching band yet. I play a baritone...bass clef not treble. Well I used to play flute but I switched. Since I'm a freshman in my high school I'm not allowed in marching band until this summer.

By the way my baritone's name is Kickbrass.

Not the wrong forum, sweetheart.
We're DISCUSSING marching band, not music.
There is no physical activity forum, to my knowledge,
and marching band, while competitive, is not a sport. It's an art.
Point me to the competitive, physically active arts subforum, and we'll take it there.
Until then, this is perfectly acceptible GD material.

My bass clarinet is Old s**t because It's a piece of s**t that's really old. I can't get a new one because they cost like 2,000 bucks. gonk

Played tenor sax for 2 years, did dm this year, it was alright.

I want to be able to one again smell the grass as I'm doing push-ups cause i'm being punished for talking.

I was a prop girl...
My freshman year, we did
Pink Floyd's The Wall, and
as props we had sheets on
rolling pvc pipe stands painted
to look like the wall, with all
the freaky looking teachers
and judges yada yada.

While we're waiting off the
sidelines for the first half to
finish, I hop up on the fence
to sit. When I get down, my
pants decided they wanted
to stay where they were.
The back pocket completely
ripped off, and out pops my
butt. Thank God I was wearing
good underwear that day.

And the jerks I was out there
with would lend me their jackets
so I could save grace. I managed
to get one of my friends to give
me hers, just in time too.


As the Floyd say,
"The show must go on..."
