I do think that a great deal of the people who claim to be pansexual are misusing the term or never had even the slightest idea of what it meant in the first place.

That said, being pansexual is a legitimate thing and I'd be willing to bet that many people who say they are pansexual are actually pansexual.

I did and I'm wondering why you asked me to...? Was it not worded clearly enough for you? In that case, here - A lot of people don't know what the hell they're talking about when they say they're pansexual, but at the same time there are plenty of people out there who do know what it means & identify with the term. Better? wink
