I used to have a real painful one. I dislike going to the doctors so I just dug it out myself. It was sorta like bursting a small abcess, but it did heal up nice.
Didn't cost me anything and provided a bit of entertainment to boot.

Cut your toenails more often.

As for the sore throat, try not to talk, and try honey. Or a warm drink (not hot, but warm).

That does not help ot at all.
You need an opperation.
I had one today, it didn't hurt at all!

Cutting a toenail doesn't make the bottom part disappear, now does it?
It grows back, unless you cut the root out, or far enough it had a possibility.
