a little bit of self harm and then voila, farewell stress
i understand self harm is a serious issue, please don't think i'm making light of it
i just know, from personal experience, it helps me feel better
and i can deal with the potential outcomes it may have in the future
now i think i'm going to play killing floor and maybe watch a movie and just relax
tonight/these past few days have been really hellish for me emotionally
i'm hoping things will get better

I used to self-harm. It started in seventh grade and continued until tenth grade.
It helped me cope with the stress I felt during my parents' divorce, ultimately I just stopped because I found more constructive ways to manage my stress.

I had to go to therapy for that s**t.
I was screwed up for the longest time,
and now I'm embarrassed by the
permanent memories on my body.
It's only temporary relief,
