Hi. I feel really bad for the people who had to go through the horror of this Hurrican Katrina. So please post here anything to do with hurricanes, hurricane katrina, or the victims of it...thankyou.
MY POEM ABOUT THE HURRICANE:
When i had heard that the disaster struck
i felt bad for those who were dead
and the people that survived had a lot of luck,
now to face the truth is something to dread.
Life is special, fragile, and great,
when it's taken away, it means you don't live
you learn, play, create and mate
you recieve and feel good when you give.
Now for those who've died
i give them my sorrow
and for those who've cried
my heart is theirs to borrow.
Please remember that people love you
and of course by all means,
you'll love your old loved ones as well as the new
but let me just tell you, it's not as bad as it seems.
And one day trust me please
You'll find a home,family and all.
loving someone could be a breeze,
just make sure that you stand proud and tall
((God bless everyone of those who have died among the catastrophic event that was named Hurricane Katrina))

******** Katrina. It's touching that you thought of the masses of bloated dead people floating around Louisianna enough to write a poem, but s**t. Go to DA for that. I'm sick of hearing the word hurricane, and the name Katrina.

I know it was a horrible thing that happend, but greeving will not do much.

Donate to them, if it means that much. Trying to capture tragedy-struck devices threw poetry, yes, is nice & all...but it will not bring back the lives that were so abruptly taken.
