Half angles do not mean the opposite side will be half the length.

Also, 9 + 3 != 11

To the second power, means you multiply the number by itself, not by 2.

1.5^2 = 2.25, not 3!

Also, calling the hypoteneuse the slant can get pretty confusing, especially if it's upside down and stuff.

The hypontenuse is the side opposite of the right angle, and is always the longest.
