what they do that

Yep, it's a bit annoying though because clearly my health is really low and usually they're ganking 2 vs 1 and I tend to play squishy (easily killed) characters that are ranged.
If I don't run away then they get pissed because I died and contributed to the opposite team's kill number.
Sometimes, it's just a lose/lose situation.

most are

play defensively

i'm sure you have good game intuition just be smart and once you start leveling up, give your enemies some credit and don't take risks that rely on them being complete retards

same advice i give my rl friends who are lvl30 lol
