I don't like american engines in non american cars, but I think that w126's are just a little too slow for such a nice car.

Thanks, appreciate the compliment; only 109k on her. Problem is, not even German engineering, in all its fame and glory, can stand the test of time. That car's been aged 20 some years now. A college student like me with my college student income, can't do this car justice. Some day I may go back to owning one. After all, this is my second 126, the bug has clearly bit me.

I do agree, these W126s certainly were "brisk" in their prime. But, now they're just much too slow. There's actually someone I know of on Benzworld that's swapping an LS engine into a 560SEC. That'll be beastly.

For now, gonna be DDing the Camry, which will cut my gasoline expenditure in half, save up some money, and I'll see where my next project takes me when I have a decent chunk of change saved up.
