I think front needs to come down a couple inches, and rear needs to come down an inch or so. Dial it in, and it's a real winner.

i wish i could drop the front lower. Unfortunately thats the lowest the front will go.(coilover sleeves). I'm actually just running the spring for the sleeves in the front and it still wont go lower. Any suggestions on ways to make it lower?
Cut the spring. Most people say not to do it, but the sleeves will make it sit proper, and have no problems.

That entirely depends on the spring, I think Celicas are progressive though, so it's really not recommended

I was really thinking about cutting the springs but decided it wouldn't sit properly on the strut seat and plus i'm riding on just a spring, not even with the metal sleeve. And whats progressive? xD

@themanoverthere eibach doesnt make full coils besides the ground control sleeves for the celica. And spending $1k+ on coils an auto celica just isnt worth it.
I just looked it up dude you can the springs from eibach for about 300. Lowering it that way should give you camber you want too. But the are a lot of good companies out there look in to it. Do it it right. They will make your car handel better not wrose like choping the spings will.

He has a point. From what I've learned and have seen over the years, it's better to buy the right part for the job. How long do you see yourself owning this celica? a year? 2? for as long as the engine/tranny lasts? When I was working at jiffy lube, there were three guys who customized their cars. A second gen prelude, first gen integra, and EG hatch. All three did the same lame things. Cut springs rolling on 17's, fart can muffler, and chicken wire covering the holes from the turn signals they removed. Even if it's beat to s**t, and an auto, it's still your car. Wouldn't you want it to look as best as possible while its yours? or are you not that attached to it?
You definitely DON'T want to cut progressive springs. progressive springs, means that they are tapered on one side or both. Which means that cutting it will result in the spring not sitting right.

Honestly, coilovers are a cheap investment for a whole lot of gains. You get better ride handling, sometimes even better ride comfort depending on how the coilover is setup. Moar lows is a big plus if you want that perfect stance.

I know eibach sells springs for a celica but not full coils. Im not stupid. Their sportline springs dont give me the drop i want.

lol i see your point. I've owned the car for 2 years not but have been contemplating on selling it and buying something manual. tired of driving auto so an investment on full coils probably wont happen. I love the car but a full manual swap is worth just as much as the car so probably going to keep it until i get funds to buy a diff. car.

@chronos I get it now. Lol the coils are flat and meant to sit evenly. I totally forgot about it. Have any of you guys heard of raceland coils? They might be making some for the celica... but ALOT(and i mean alot) of people say the quality is crap, but others say its worth the price. ($400)
Raceland does ring a bell for me. I think either a lot of Honda boys use them, or was it the E36 folks? Maybe both? It does seem to be a name that comes up ever so often on Stanceworks though. And, if it ever came up with negative connotations, I'd probably remember it.

That said, they must not really be all that bad. But, don't just take my shady memory's word for it. wink

Ok got you well, You should still look in to it. It would help the value of the car if you do it right. Cut spings means cheap fixes, so the price you can sell it for goes way down like you might 1000 for the whole car with cut springs. Or do it right and can get about 5000+ out of it.

Not always lol
Well I'm beginning to research for my next set of tires. I do a lot of DD(at least 100-200miles/week sometimes more xd ). Right now the tires I got on are falken 512's. 205/40/16. Should i just buy another set of the same tires when my current tires wear out. The whole set of falken 512's is under $400 on ebay. Any suggestions?
Why buy them on ebay? It's really not going to be much cheaper than if you get it at a tire store. Not to mention, tire store's most often have special deals when you purchase a full set. I know when I got my last set of tires, they threw in the 4th free and also had free balancing, and a discount on alignment. Also, if you ever have problems with the tires, just take it back to them.

The only place online that you want to buy tires from is TireRack.

alright well I guess les shwab or something is where I'm going to go. Do you know if having camber and no camber kit will cancel the warranty for the tires. Since the tires are going to wear faster from excessive camber.

No. It's not going to matter. The people on StanceWorks will specifically tell the tire dudes not to touch their camber settings, which are almost always at something crazy like -7 degrees of camber or something like that. Still under warranty. If the tire shop tells you no, just take your business somewhere else.

I really like America's Tires/ Discount Tires; same company, different name depending on where you live. They'll even mount super stretched tires for you without any complaints. I'm talking like 205s on a 10inch wide. You want it, you got it.
Get some spacers smile I think those stock wheels look very nice on that celica.
