I've owned several Triumphs, still own a Triumph, and swear by them. If you don't have a ton of money or are just starting out, then I wouldn't suggest a Thunderbird.

If you want a Harley-style bike that actually handles, then the Thunderbird is an amazing bike. Don't believe me? Pick a publication that reviews motorcycles and that has tested a Thunderbird (Or even better, a TBird Storm) and read what they have to say.
