In terms of performance yes
Charger however is a big cushier and smoother
I personally would take a Challenger over a Charger... Nothing really against Chargers, my girlfriend loves them and I see it's merits too, but something about the Challenger just aesthetically looks ballsier and more manly. The Charger sortof reminds me of a pig with it's snout-like grille... It could just be me though.
Yes. I was'nt even thinking that, but now that you mention it, yes. Except, I think it should be even ballsier than that. How? I'm not sure, but the 60's Charger look is on so many cars in the 60s that it's a good look, but just would be very recycled to use it now. Give it a more manly twist and you'll have a bunch of lovers of the look just like you did in the 60s. History does repeat itself smile
The problem with that, is that it's not the 60's, you're 50 years too late if you want a car with a 60's look.
That'd be the worst marketing decision possible to model a car in such a dated fashion
taking certain design cues okay, but to make a car that looks identical to the one from the 60's? they already did that, 50 years ago
It's just not possible for them to use the same designs they did in the past, they were heavy and inefficient, it'd definitely fail in the modern world. people just don't want big steel rust bucket draining their wallet. It's like making a new car that's carbed
... We want the look. The aesthetics. Not the car. I think even the modern Challenger takes HUGE styling cues from the 60's Charger, and I think the majority is that everyone thinks even the modern Challenger is a mean looking machine.
We never said we want the car. We never said we wanted the weight. We never said we wanted the carb. We said we wanted the looks.
Thank god for that
