[ ♥ ] Waiting a while, Alura twiddled her thumbs. It seemed like a lazy day. She had no idea when the others were going to arrive and she herself was about ready to take a nap. It had been an exhausting three-day trip from Deep Water. Already being a rather frail girl didn't help it either. The travel had left her sore and cramped, lethargic and bored, and the Porcelain princess was now struggling even to keep herself awake. Softly, she yawned, out of the corner of her haunting eyes, spotting a woman come in through the door. Blinking a few times, Ally stared at her impolitely. She looked regal, especially in that dress. Uncomfortable, but regal. Alura took her eyes off the woman, fixing her white-gold orbs on the crackling fireplace instead. The bold orange and reds reflected off the glossy, colorless surface of her eyes, the heat drying the bottom of her dress. Politely, Alura stood, nearly ready to introduce herself. It was the proper thing to do, after all.
Standing, the tiny girl made her way over to the princess, warily eying the bobcat. Stopping a few feet from her, Alura gave a curtsy. "Good morning, your grace." Softly, Ally also gave a little curtsy at her pet, knowing well that most people who would have their pet accompany them, held them in high regard. "I'm Alura Reilly.. hailing from Deep Water." Considering the ears that protruded from her head, the princess was most likely from Great Wood. Alura smiled. "I believe I am acquainted with your brother. It's very.. nice to finally meet you."

Kiriana stopped as the first person stopped in front of her and ask for attention. Today it seemed to be a little girl but without her introduction she knew exactly who she was. Years in the world of politics had given her considerable knowledge on all royalty and important nobles within the four kingdoms. Without giving sign of this knowledge she smiled politely back and dipped in curtsy as well "Greetings Alura Reilly" she said formally with a pleasing smile "I am Kiriana Swift of the Great Woods, this is Kanya, also of the Great Woods" once she had introduced herself and Kanya she straightened once more and continued to smile "It is good to know one who is acquainted with my sibling in this foreign place" she said convincingly though it meant nothing to her. In reality she knew from good manners that it was fitting to say something in return to compliment the other.

Moving her gaze from the Princess' face she looked down at her dress and for a brief moment there was a look of longing on her face for the simple gown. Before the moment was over, Kiri's smooth facade was back in place and she looked back up at her "How do things do in Deep Water? I hope that the war has not stressed your country overmuch?" she asked with genuine concern this time. Matters of the war always worried her and it was well known that she was one of the major contributors in the efforts to stop it inside of the Great Woods.

→Dazing out a little, Bianca gracefully glided around the dance floor with Tristan. Daydreaming of her days back at home when she was smaller, twirling around with her instructor, or most times with her brother as they had dancing classes together, Bianca continued to let the melody flow from her lips. She thought to her mother, who had oft come to watch her children practice, and sang as Bibi was now, while they danced. Coming back to the present, a little wave of sadness washed over the girl as she realized those days were long gone.

The wave passed quickly, however, quickly replaced with a content feeling, warm and sweet as she opened her eyes to see Tristan looking down at her kindly. Now back in the scene completely, Bianca realized that there was another form of music besides her own voice echoing through the room, and looking around for a moment, she spotted the servant with the violin. Satisfied, now knowing that, Bibi let her voice trail off nicely and the sound of the violin alone filled the ballroom for only a moment before Tristan spoke. Moving in perfect harmony with the elven prince, Bianca fell neatly and skillfully with his dip, allowing him complete trust and control over it, rising as she felt the the slightest pressure to signal it.

Smiling as she was righted once more, Bianca let out a little laugh at Tristan's request to know little tidbits about herself. "I'm sure they do..." A quick flashback to a singing practice with her mother came to the girl. Bibi had one of the best vocal coaches in the lands of course, but it was truly her mother who had taught her to sing as she did. Grinning, Bibi placed her attention back on the prince just as the tune from the violin slowed to a different song. "However, I don't just offer up bits of information about myself... " Sighing a bit and not thinking at all, Bianca let Tristan's hand go and her other hand drop from the boy's shoulder and closed even the tiny space between them. Placing her slender arms around the boy's waist, bent at the elbow and placing her hands upward on his back, Bibi laid her head on his chest as they began to sway rhythmically to the music..."You have to earn it."

[ ♥ ] Alura gave a soft shrug. "About as can be expected. Undoubtedly, the war has been hard on all our countries.." With a haunting grace, Alura looked at the woman. "Thankfully, our people, for the most part, are safe. The gift of foresight has granted us the ability of keeping our country safe." Softly, Alura brushed the hair off her shoulders; a nervous habit she had developed when she was little.
Connecting her eyes with the elf's once again, Ally sighed. "Undoubtedly, your brother has made sure your country is safe. He had asked for my assistance before on several occasions.. however I never was able to stay long enough in Great Wood to meet you." Trying not to make an idiot out of herself, Alura smiled faintly. Did she really care about these things? No, of course not. "I'm glad I finally got to meet you." She gave another curtsy.
"How is your country faring in the face of war?" Folding her hands politely in her lap, Alura tilted her head up to look at the taller princess again. "Hopefully your citizens are safe.." If she hadn't been so tired, Alura might have even forecasted a vision of Great Wood to see for herself.. however, she was tired.. well, more exhausted.
She gave another faint smile, and looked over at the bobcat. "And the animals as well.."

Smiling brightly, Tristan looked at Bianca, slightly amazed as she dropped his hand, replacing hers on his back. He did the same, slipping his hands down the back of her dress, down the natural curves to sit happily just above her bottom. Thinking a moment about reaching for a little squeeze, Tristan put the thought out of his mind, a smirk placed on his lips instead. Chuckling, Tristan swayed with the princess, his ears perking happily. "Well, I thought being devilishly good looking was enough, but I suppose not." The prince chuckled again. "You don't want me to resort to my other methods of getting them out of you, really.. if you thought last night's trick was bad enough. I have some trusty truth serum ready that I'd be more than happy to give to you." He chuckled again, his blood red eyes flicking down at her. "Seriously?" Making a thinking face, Tristan stopped for a moment. "What would I have to do?" Perking an eyebrow, Tristan laughed at her. "I don't know if I trust you with telling me what to do, either."

Chuckling still, Tristan leaned away from her to look her in the face, her striking pink hair framing her face beautifully. Normally, he didn't even like the color pink. In fact, he abhorred it, but it worked for her, and he liked it... somehow.
Smiling down at her, swaying with her contentedly again. "For all I know you could make me kiss you again." Giggling a little, the elf smirked at her. Truth be told, he was a little shocked she hadn't asked him why he had kissed her in the first place.

→For a moment, a very quick moment, Bianca took comfort in the prince's arms as they closed around her. Once she realized Tristan wasn't going to pull anything, that she knew she had willingly opened herself up for, she relaxed a bit as they moved slightly back and forth. Rolling her eyes to herself as he spoke, Bianca couldn't help but grin this time at his lack of modesty. She had her face turned and her head against him, however, so she didn't figure it could hurt and feed that ego of his any more, so it was alright to let it escape briefly. Listening to him ramble about his ways of getting what he wanted out of her, Bibi just let it go in one ear and out the other not taking any heed to what he was saying in the least; she could tell he was joking... or at least hoped she was reading him right in that.

"Hm. That, my prince, is something you will have to figure out for yourself." Speaking in response to his question, her voice was sweet and quiet, feeling him pulling away just a hair, Bianca looked up at the boy... sweetly at first. But the sweetness faded quickly from her face as a stunned look took it's place. Huffing a bit, Bibi stared up at the boy, "I never maaaaade you do anything of the sort. That was all your own..." Thinking about it, Bibi let her sentence die, curiosity now pricking at her thoughts. Stopping in her dance, Bibi's face softened as she thought a moment before catching the boy's eyes and locking with them. "Come to think of it... why?.. I mean, what made you- you said earlier that it wasn't because...." The girl stumbled over her words, trying to put together her thoughts coherently, though it wasn't working. Hushing a moment, Bianca sighed and composed herself before trying once more. "Why did you, anyway?"

Lightheartedly, the prince let the last of his little chuckle roll through him. It echoed around in the room, the golden walls bouncing back his lavish, beautiful voice. There was no point in denying it, he was quite the handsome elf. Even then, his race was known for being beautiful - almost as beautiful as the vampires, of course, but Tristan himself was a twist from the blue-eyed, white blonde haired elves of the kingdom. His shining red hair and blood red eyes were bewitchingly handsome on his fair head. The way he moved, the way he spoke, and even the way he danced was beautiful. It had a feminine grace to it, but then again, Tristan came off far from feminine.
Thinking a moment, the prince looked Bianca in the eyes, easily reading the curiosity behind them. "Hmm.." Tristan smirked, stopping with her. "If I just told you, what fun would that be?" Slipping his hands off her back, Tristan maintained that perfect little devious smirk, despite what was going on in his head. Honestly? He had no idea why he had kissed her. She.. she just looked so, fragile and perfect in that moment that it felt like it would be a sin not to kiss her. The tears running down her cheeks, albeit fake, were believable, and it broke his heart a little to see her cry, and somewhere, deep, deeeeeep, deeeeeeeeeeeep down, Tristan thought that if he kissed her, perhaps she'd smile again.
His eyes softened a bit as he looked down at her, a slight guilt hanging in his orbs. Quickly, however, it dissipated and he sighed. "Well.." The elf fixed another smile on his face, this time a bit melancholic. "Shall we explore elsewhere? I've heard the weather is going to be awful today. More rain, can you believe it?" Trying to distract himself, Tristan waved at the servant, and the haunting music of the violin slowly faded out, and he extended his arm to Bianca again. "I'll let you pick the next attraction."

→Unknown as to why exactly, Bianca found herself frowning a bit as she felt Tristan's arms leaving their place set around her tiny waist. She, in turn, let her own fall to her side, I suppose, we can't dance all day.. Sighing a bit, she looked to him, frowning more as she heard his reply. So, he was going to play the same kind of game as she did. Refusing to tell... great. Deciding to not let it get to her, Bianca scrunched her face up and stuck her tongue out briefly and childishly at the boy. "Fine, fine... You'll tell me one day. I'll get it out of you" she teased, plastering a little grin on her face, somewhat real and yet somewhat forced at the same time. Bianca was never entirely happy when she didn't get what she wanted, and right now, what she wanted was to know why the elf had kissed her. Determining it in her mind to pull out whatever mentioning and questioning at any given time in order to pull the answer from the boy, she put it in the back of her mind, where it would stay lingering, but not bothering.

Taking Tristan's arm happily, Bibi nodded to the servant as the pair made their way from the ballroom. "I rather like the rain, actually" she noted. Bianca was the type who would rather take a walk in the rain than in the sun, honestly. She had been that way since she was a child, annoyingly enough for her mother. Stepping aside once more, Bianca allowed Tristan to take the door for her, quickly resuming her place on his arm once they both passed through. Setting off down the hall the way they had been moving previously, Bianca just shrugged. "We'll have to head back for lunch soon, I'm sure." she pointed out, with a less than enthused attitude. After wandering a bit down the hallway, Bianca noticed a plethora of greenery outside a window, obviously they had hit where the garden should be. There were still raindrops splattering the window, but it seemed like it was a calm rain and it was nothing to stop Princess Bianca. Letting her arm drop, Bibi took the prince's hand once again pulling him along with her hurriedly until she found an exit into the courtyard. Pushing the door open, Bianca let the hand she had held so tightly go and made her happy little way down the stairs, outside, into the garden, rain and alll. Honestly, it was just a bit of a steady drizzle; but even so it was enough to get Bianca and her nice little outfit considerably wet in a short amount of time. Turning around, Bibi looked back at the boy. "Surely, you're not going to let a little sky water keep you in...?" she taunted, a daring kind of smirk playing on her lips. Staring back up at the boy, she brushed a few strands of soaked pink hair from her face and then placed her hands to her hip playing as if she were growing impatient. "Come on, then..."

Verena Latchford

Seeing two princesses talking in the hallway was surprising to Verena for she didn’t think she would see them so soon. She believed she knew the kingdoms in which they were from only because of meetings and other issues that related to them. Feeling out of place, she grabbed her bag off the floor and turned around. She was getting tired, she was not used to being up at this time of day, but she knew she would have to get used to it having to live with others. Verena frowned just thinking of having to change her sleeping habits just because of this.
She made a small yawn that made her fangs extend. Two servants walked by and once they saw her they both gave her there best curtsies. “Do you think you can show me to my room?” She asked.

“Why of course Princess Latchford. We would be honored,” one of the servants said. The other servant grabbed the bag out of her hand. The servant had brushed her cold hand, and gave a wince. Verena was about to apologize but they moved on.
Verena followed the servants with graceful steps in which she was born with. After awhile of walking in the decorated hallway they opened a door for her, and then rushed inside closing all the windows with dark heavy drapes. She knew it had to be done, but it was such a pity to hide the beautiful rain.
”Would you like us to make you a fire?” One of the servants asked when their job was done.
“No, don’t waste your firewood on me,” she said. Verena always had this cold sensation no matter how much she tried to heat herself up. After awhile she didn’t even acknowledge it.
“Are you sure? It’s very cold,” the servant asked. “I’m sure,” Verena said. The servants walked out of the room with nervous steps and closed the door behind them; they each gave a sigh with relief. Verena gave out her own tired and annoyed sigh. She always made others nervous when she was out of her homeland. For the first time she actually felt a little homesick. “How wonderful. The future is playing out right before my eyes,” she said to herself.

Verena crawled on top of the bed and her dress sprawled around her. It looked as if the dress was leaking over the edges of the bed. If anyone entered her room, she could pass as one of the dead. ”Just a little nap won’t hurt,” after she said this her eyes fluttered shut and darkness overcame her.

Kiriana smiled gently and nodded "My race was not blessed as yours was with foresight but we have made up for that with blessings of nature and intelligence" she said smoothly with no hint of an overgrown ego but of rightful pride in being an elf. "with the combination of war tactics led by my brother and the defense our Great Woods give us. The citizens were rarely to be evacuated" she smiled again, a little wider and truthful this time as she turned to the subject of the animals "As for our friends they have been very valuable in this time. Without them I am sure we would have not been able to discern surprise attacks as we did during times of fighting" she glanced down at Kanya with pure affection for the animal she considered both friend in brethren before looking back up at Alura.
"Indeed I heard of your coming to the Great Woods by word of mouth but alas! I never could bring myself away from council matters to greet you properly as should have been done" Sweeping her right arm outwards and bowing her head in respect "I apologize now for my lack of attention which was due to your person and I pray that you do not judge me too harshly for it" she lifted her head once more and returned her arm to her side, lightly clasping her hands together to rest gently on top of her gown. 'A very well spoken lady' Kiri mused to herself 'it will be interesting to see how she changes once these formalities come to an end' leaving the thought at that she waited patiently for the response from Princess Alura.

Contentedly, somewhat, the prince made his way along with Bianca, the guilty feeling still haunting him. It was a strange feeling, to feel so different from himself. It was a bit like he had hovered out of his own body and was now looking down at himself, not pleased with what he saw. Right now, he felt weak.. and he was definitely not happy with it. Frowning a bit to himself as they walked, Tristan opened the door for Bianca, the frown growing deeper as he internally questioned himself. What are you thinking? You think that it actually meant something when you kissed her? You fool. You've kissed how many women and you've never felt anything. Why should she be different? Sighing silently, Tristan's long ears drooped. It hurt somehow to think of it either way. Either, it could mean something and everything he had ever known would be flipped upside down, or it could mean nothing at all.. and then the guilt he felt would loom over his head. Either way it would end up torturing him. He had just picked the lesser of the evils.. right?

Tristan's frown lightened a bit. Bothering him still, he put it out of his mind for the time being, and he looked over at Bianca with sad, red eyes. The weather was depressing enough, why did it have to bother him so? It was so unlike him. Slowly, he pulled out of his thoughts when the warmth of Bianca's arm slipped away and her hand closed around his, her fingers intertwining with his own, tugging him around the winding stairs and corridors until she found what she wanted. An exit to the courtyard. How nice it would be to escape right now. Tristan simply wanted to go home and sink into his favorite chair in the study, take a bottle of wine in with him and not emerge until the morning - the bottle empty and his thoughts forgotten.
He hadn't completely snapped out of his thoughts until Bianca's hand left his and he staggered to a halt, watching idly as she ran out into the rain, the droplets quickly soaking her from head-to-toe, that same smirk plastered on her face.

A faint smile found it's way to his lips, and without thinking, the elf prince made his way out into the rain, the water quickly soaking him as well. His shining red hair was now wet, the raindrops making quick work of his skin and clothes. Soon, his black sweater was clinging to his frame, eager to show off his toned arms and abdomen, his hair had turned a dark shade of brown now that the rain had soaked it. Smiling again, Tristan walked towards her. "You really never cease to amaze me Miss Carrington."

[ ♥ ] Nodding along with the elf, Alura forced a smile. So, her people were safe.. and the animals as well. Well, that was good, she supposed. Honestly? Alura didn't really care either way. As much as she loved Tristan, she cared for her own people more. "Don't worry about it, I knew I'd meet you sooner or later." Alura's voice floated out of her mouth and she smiled faintly at the elf. "I just never thought it'd be in a castle far from home." Folding her hands politely in her lap, Ally locked her eerie white-gold eyes on the princess. "Forgive me, that was probably rude. I'm glad to be here." Blushing a bit, Alura cleared her throat and bit down on her lower lip. "Are you excited to find out who you are going to be married to?" Honestly, Alura was wondering, herself. She didn't quite want to be there, vulnerable as the day she was born. It was too new for her, and she was tired.. so very tired.. and it was showing. Sleepily, her eyes drooped and she began to slouch a bit, but after a while she had caught herself. "Perhaps our kingdoms will be connected.."

Kiri said nothing about Alura's slip of tongue though she felt the same way. After all, it was not proper for a princess to complain about what it is she is instructed to do. Or at least not in public. Regarding the girl sympathetically she mused to herself that she barely looked to be older than a child. While she knew her to be around the same age as herself she wondered how much of her was also like a child. Watching the small princess' eyes droop Kiriana continued to smile and said smoothly "I believe that conversation may be for another time. You look very tired princess, no one would blame you if you needed to rest now after such a long journey from your birth land" she spoke kindly and with concern for the tired princess "Would you like me to accompany you to your quarters?" she asked graciously while also looking for a way out of this function.

Like Alura she did not feel quite well enough to be here just yet either but was adamant against showing it. 'Just think of the talk that would bring to my reputation' she wondered with anger at the vileness of court gossip having been caught in such scandals many times during her years. All the nobles want are to either get close to royalty to get a higher status or bring them down. Either way it was that type of dishonest thought that she hated the most and so she loathed to give the noble gossipmongers any fuel.

→Slightly shocked that she had actually managed to get the vain prince out into the rain, Bianca smiled through the shock as Tristan approached. He really was rather good looking, even completely soaked, she had to admit it. Looking him over, his clothes already drenched and stuck to his body as her own little dress was, Bianca reached out and looped her arm through his once again, setting off at a slow walk as if it were the most normal thing for a walk in the garden as the rain drifted from drizzling to pouring as they moved. "Mhm, and I never will" she replied, a little of her own conceit coming forward.

Grinning, Bianca spotted a section of her favorite flowers, lilies- pink ones, of course. There were others surrounding, such as tigerlilies or red and white and oriental lilies, but Bibi made her way straight for the pink that was only a slight shade lighter than the girls hair. Letting go of Tristan once more, Bibi knelt down a bit looking over the flowers until she found the perfect one. Plucking it simply from its stem, Bibi tucked the flower just above her ear, adding a nice little accent to her hair, even in its drowned state.

Scanning over the lilies, a thought hit Bianca. Childish as it may have been, looking to Tristan, the girl couldn't resist. It was obvious that Tristan, much like herself, took great pride in his appearance, but she wondered if he'd get upset from getting a little dirty. Smirking, Bibi ran her hand at the base of the flowers, scooping up a bit of dirt, not too much, but enough to- well, to leave a mark. "Uh... hey Tristan" Calling to him to make sure she had his attention, the princess stood, looking to the elf, giggling and flinging the dirt at him and then proceeding to make her way backwards away from her target as a child would do, grinning the whole way, wondering if he'd either get mad, or come after her.
