Seth could tell the other dark haired boy wasn't in the most cheerful and bright of moods. With the ignoring, loud hammering music, and the journal, it was hard not to make that guess. Connect the dots Seth. Bitting his lip, he unclipped the carrying strap of his camera, letting the old contraption rest in his lap for the time being. There was no sense in murdering your neck over a simple car ride. Car ride to hell. He figured with a sigh. Perhaps it wasn't fair to lable it so poorly. After all, he'd be spending a month with seven other potentialy entertaining and not to mention attractive other boys. That had to count for something, now didn't it?
Ignoring the seat belt hanging beside him, Seth brought his knees up to the back of the seat in front of them, balancing him in place. Hearing a familar tune blasting from Jess's ear buds, Seth glanced beside him for a moment. Wasn't that 3OH!3? Now, he'd heard them a few times at different dances or events, and even once or twice on the radio for that over played song...what was it? Dont' Trust Me? Yeah, that must've been it. Other than that song, he thought the band was rather well versed. Really anything you could dance to was okay in his eyes. As Dominic sat down, Seth's attention wavered to the other boy. There was no sense in getting his head bitten off by talking to a slightly POed Jess. For a split second, Seth e
yed the guitar the other boy had brought onto the van with him. So...an artist of multiple trades then? He assumed looking back up at the other boy. Sketching and music. It suited Dominic in a way. The only things Seth was really honestly good at would have to be cooking and photography. Unless you counted glowstick Poi and rave dancing a talent. The cooking only came in handy seeing how his Aunt was for the most part always out volunteering or helping out at the church, leaving Seth to pretty much care for himself and his younger cousins. Ah well, at least he didn't have to worry about that for a month or so. It'd be ironic if he was assigned to cooking for this new familiy though. In a humorous sort of way, it'd probably be the easiest job for him, though cooking for eight plus people didn't seem as easy as it sounded in his head.
Seth hadn't even noticed he'd zoned out until he heard Dominic asking him to look his way for a moment. Curious, he did as he was told, noticing the sketch pad in the other boys lap. Wait. Was he drawing him? With a light smile as he realised what the other boy was doing, Seth bit his lip, trying to hold still. Fighting the urge to peek over the edge of the sketch pad, Seth watched the graphite mark over the paper as Dominic worked. "Um...sure?" He said, holding as still as possible, not wanting to mess the oter boy up. As the finished product was offered out to him, Seth hesitantly accepted it, glancing over the work. "This is amazing..." He said honestly, his eyes widdening. His smile broadened as he skimmed over the annotation at the corner of the paper. He'd have to be sure this other boy his work sometime while they were here. It wasn't like he wouldn't have time. They were stuck here a whole month. "I'l be sure to do that." He said with a slight laugh. "You're such an amazing artist!" He said looking up at the other boy, thoroughly impressed.
