Roxanne smiled as she watched her friend break into her Gossip Girl self. She read the text before Skye sent it, and then turned to Sloane, ”She is right, and the last thing I want to happen to you is to have you hurt like I was. She will do things to destroy you, Roary looks after only herself. The way she says she looks after you is just a joke to her, you’re her toy to string along.” she said as she took another sip from the water bottle. Smiling, she decided to join Skye, ”I know you wanna dance, come on!” she said as she gave Sloane one of her true Roxy smiles. She then hopped in with Skye, her hips and her movements fluid. Hey she was the prep goddess, she was already accepted into her classes, and she was top of the class. She couldn’t help if she was perfect. Okay, so maybe boys were her Achilles’ heel, but hey who doesn’t have one?

Sighing, after the routine, she took a sip from her water bottle again. It felt great to do the moves again, they were like second nature to her by now. She looked over and almost let her jaw hit the ground. NO WAY! It was Taylor, and damn the girl looked good. She had to hand that to her. She bit her lip when she saw Tyler hug her, and with a weird feeling the tightness in her heart suddenly clamped down, almost letting her lose her breath. What the hell was that? She bit her lip and shook her head, no this was just a one time thing. She groaned inwardly but decided to let it go. She looked around and then squeezed Sloane’s elbow, and smiled at Skye, ”Listen I have had more excitement then I can handle tonight, I will hit ya’ll up later.” she said softly as she walked back up to the room where she had left her stuff. She grabbed her bad, and then her keys. She walked down the steps and brushed past the others and finally decided to get a pair (in a figure of speech.)

Walking up to the group, she smiled at Derrick and Tyler, and gave an appraising look to Taylor, [crimson]”Hey thanks Derrick for an awesome party. But I have to work in the morning, so I will text ya sometime to see where the next party will be at.” she said as she gave him a smile, she then turned to Taylor and looked her up and down and gave her a smile as well, ”Taylor isn’t it? Nice look, better watch out, you’ll break these guys hearts.” she giggled. She completely ignored Roary, after tonight she wasn’t sure she wanted to talk to her. She rather stick with just being someone she knew, instead of back at the friend status that she thought she had with her. She then took a breath and looked at Tyler, she gave him one of her brilliant dazzling smiles that were known to melt the hearts of the underclassmen, and well really anyone in the vicinity of it, ”Thanks” she said as she winked at him, and tapped her cell. It was a sign for him to text or call her later. She turned and walked away from the group

She found her way to her car, and stripped the cover off. She unlocked the car, and shoved the cover in the back, and then slid in, her bag in the back as well. She sighed as she looked around, and then started the car, and letting the engine roar. She slowly backed out, and headed down the winding road, as winding as her thoughts were right now. She bit her lip and then drove in silence.

                              A little bit longer…..

Pulling up in her driveway, she climbed out of the car and then found her way to the door. Slipping in, she walked up the large marbled staircase of her soon to be step dad’s mansion. She found her new room, and threw her bag in the corner. She looked around and sighed. This was going to be a long night. She flopped down on the bed and looked around. She formulated a few texts before she drifted off to sleep.

                              To: Skye
                              From: Roxy

Have fun, and keep an eye on Sloane
She has potential, but with She Who Must Not Be Named around
                              That is dangerous!

                              To: Chili Pepper
                              From: Roxy

                              Hey, thanks for tonight
Hope I didn’t make things awkard when I left
                              Btw, nice a** wink lol
Have fun..just not too much fun

                              SEND

She sighed as she plugged her phone in and then stretched out, and drifted to sleep, her hair billowing around her on the pillow, and for once, as the moonlight streamed in from one of the large ceiling to floor windows, she looked like a goddess in the light.

It all made sense now! The world and everyone in it was obviously against Matt for some unknown reason.

Life was really ******** unfair. A lot of people say that, but only a selected few unlucky people could actually say that and not be exaggerating. And unfortunately, Matt was one of those people. Sure, he had accomplished what he wanted to do this party: get laid. However, his ego had taken quite a few shots that night. First, Windbag had invited Matt, if the leach Cory hadn't tagged along, then everything would be fine and dandy. Matt and Theo would've probably been in a couple shots and then lighting up a joint. So, he just had to bail on them because being a third wheel really wasn't his style. And, of course, he just had to go talk to Riley at the party. For John's sake, really. Just so she wouldn't end up with Derrick. He was honoring the bro code! Whenever he seemed to do that (or anyone for that matter), they always seemed to get screwed over. Which was exactly what happened, when Riley went all psycho b***h on him after smelling another girl's perfume on him. Since when did she pay attention to that type of detail? And even if she did, why in the world would she even care? And just once he thought his luck was changing during the make - out session with Riley, Derrick just had to show up and play the psycho - jealous - douche - bag - boyfriend bit. And of course Riley had to go after him, ditching Matt. One would think that Matt wouldn't waste his time or energy and just forget about the slut, but he just had to act like a pathetically whipped idiot and ruin his mood instead of just forgetting about it. s**t. Windbag must be rubbing off on him.

                              “Thanks for my drink Matt.”

Skye's voice filled his ears and brought him back from his depressing introspection to the party, lifting his head up, at least she was one girl that he could count on to make him feel better. Even if they had broken up, she always found a way to make him feel less pathetic. A small smile formed on his face at the sight of her, "Dude, you have no idea how ********]" Matt muttered out in shock, finding himself drenched in cheap b***h beer (can't really except that much from a Boone party). Feeling a fist collide with his face, Matt was left with a shocked expression on his face. What the ******** had just happened? Why had she just punched him and gave him a "beer bath?" What the hell did he ever to do her? All of his questions were answered once she went off on her rant about him calling her a slut. Honestly, what was she expecting from him? He wasn't the type of guy to get dumped by a girl and be all sunshine and rainbows about it. No. He had an ego he needed to satisfy to make himself feel better. "Why do you even care what I think about you? " Matt questioned angrily through gritted teeth, letting out a sigh, there was no reason to get angry. She had insecurities about herself and Matt meant a lot to her, so him writing her off had a profound effect on her. Yeah, that sounded better in theory. Practically, he didn't know what was going through her mind right now, he didn't think she would care what people said about her, but he was proven wrong. "I don't know what you're going through right now, but please don't take it out on me for no reason." Then she had the audacity to talk about how he was acting around Theo and Cory. He didn't couldn't formulate a response within the time he was given because just as soon as she finished screaming at him, for no reason, she just up and left. Like every other person in his life.

Tonight really wasn't his ******** night.

"Slut," Matt muttered under his breath in order to give him the sensation of winning, like he had gotten the last word in their one-sided argument. Putting his hand to the part of his face that Skye had punched, he was going to have a black eye because of that. Skye may not be a slut, but she was definitely a b***h. And a hardcore one at that. Visibly shaken from the rant, he was really beginning to rethink things about the people he hung out with. The words she spoke about Theo and Cory had truth to it and that just stung. Obviously the "ape," as Skye oh so eloquently worded it, didn't have as much time to chill with Matt, but did he really need to completely disregard the linebacker all together? It wasn't fair how everyone seemed to be leaving him out in the dust while they were off having fun with other people. Life wasn't ******** fair. It really wasn't. He must've done something terribly wrong in his past life and now God was taking it out on him at that party. That was the only reasonable explanation. It couldn't possibly have anything to do with the fact that he was a heartless douche bag that needed to have things go his way. Course not.

"You look like you could use a beer,"

Matt didn't even have to lift his head up from his hands, to know the douche bag whose voice it belonged to. The nerve of some people. Did Derrick really think that a beer could fix things? He had made Riley walk out on him for Derrick. Knowing their bad habits, they had probably gotten finished ********. Lifting his head up, the guy looked like he had just gotten laid and that just pissed Matt off even more. "Go away," Matt mumbled before getting up and trying to flee from the wide receiver's lakehouse. But, s**t, this douche bag really didn't give up easily. He started talking about how he was so excited for training camp. Just the thought of him and Derrick on the same team made his skin crawl and want to quit football all together so he wouldn't have to see "the Bonemiester's" (who the hell came up with that nickname anyway? What a wannabe stiffler) face. "For ******** sake, Derrick, leave me the ******** alone. You don't cockblock a guy, then go ******** the girl and then expect us to be best buddies. I'm not your b***h like everyone else in Concord. I'm not buying this phony as ******** nice guy act. You're all ******** high and mighty, just because you play a few sports, have a bunch of friends, and can ******** any girl you want, not to mention make a girl leave another dude in the shower. What kind of douche bag does that? No wonder John hates you. He's the only one with enough intelligence to see your true colors."

And with that Matt turned his back, but not before Chili, Theo, Taylor, and Cory had seemed to appear out of thin air. Not really paying attention to anyone until Theo and Cory had came. They were probably all there just to see Derrick. That little b***h. He didn't understand why the receiver was so popular and everyone liked him. People were so easy to just forgive and forget about all the bad crap Derrick had done to people. Taylor was most likely going to try to flirt Derrick up and get in pants, Theo was probably there to talk about rugby or some other bullshit with Derrick, Cory was just following him around like some pathetic dog, and Chili just because he was Derrick's b***h. Just the sight off all the people there made Matt's blood boil, clenching the beer with a vice - grip in an attempt to ease his fury and not start punching people out. Taking a sip of his beer and keeping his eyes to the ground as Cory spoke to him, only giving her and Theo one brief wistful look before she left to go get a drink. So much for all those strong morals... Rolling his eyes, scanning the room for the nearest exit. He needed to get the ******** out of here, he couldn't handle being around a bunch of people, he knew he would lose it within a matter of moment. Just as he started walking away, Theo started speaking. Jackass. "Won't your girlfriend get angry? Wouldn't want to ******** you two up." He replied back casually, as if he actually gave a s**t if they broke up or not. Him and Theo weren't best friends. They weren't even friends as far as Matt was concerned. "Besides, you getting into a fight? That's doubtful. It's quite apparent that you'd chose your hoe over your bro." He continued, his tone was getting increasingly angrier.

Looking over to see Theo's shocked expression, there was no way that Matt's night would get any better, he might as well get out all he wanted to say to people now that he was aptly damned. "I needed my best friend, and you weren't here for me. I've always had your back, the one time that I need you to be there for me, you're not." He said while glancing over at the ever growing crowd surrounding Skye, he didn't understand why she was pissed off. Matt was the one that was supposed to hate her, but instead he had pussied out and stayed friends with her. What a tool. "You ditched me for your girlfriend, Riley bailed on me for a better guy, and Skye left me for no one, that's how pathetic I am. s**t, my parents even ******** ditched me for a damn job. Everyone I ever cared about keeps leaving me. I can't be all smiles and sunshine, acting like nothing's bothering me. And don't you dare say that you give a ******** about me because we both know that you don't. We're not friends. You have your girlfriend, other friends, and rugby, you got you wanted, you don't need me anymore. I can't believe I was a big enough idiot to think someone actually gave a s**t about me." Allowing his anger to consume him, glaring at Theo. "I hate you." He said while shoving Reaper, attempting to rile him up, to try to see if the guy would throw a punch. "Come on, Windbag," Matt said in a mocking tone, anger etched on every feature of his face. "You'll help ******** up my life, but you won't ******** up my face? At least Skye had the decency to do both."

Matt's temper was quickly getting the best of him, his nostrils started and he let out a defensive laugh, as if to mock Theo and his resistance to fighting Matt. Even if everyone there knew that it was a complete mismatch and that Theo could easily beat a drunk Matt up, Matt wanted to push his buttons and piss him off so much that he would want to get into a fight with him. "You're a coward. Always will be. Have a good life, Windbag. I'm done with all of you." Ripping his eyes away from his former best friend's face. He needed to get out. Now. Driving drunk wasn't exactly the best thing to do, but he had to find a way to leave and assuage the pain of being betrayed and bailed on one too many times. The only thing he could feel at the moment was hatred. He absolutely despised everyone at the party. And s**t did he hate Theo. Almost as much as he hated Derrick, Skye, and Riley at the moment. They were all ******** that had something against Matt and just ******** had to try their hand at ruining Matt's life. Taking his keys out of his pockets, while walking to his car, beer bottle in hand, he kept shoving the keys into the lock but it wouldn't budge. ********. What the ******** was wrong with his car? After a few seconds of trying to shove his key in and it not working, he slammed the beer bottle into one of the mirrors, making it instantly fall off. He proceeding to kick the tires and somehow managed to accumulate enough anger and hate within him to be able to break one of the windows, leaving his hand with a burning sensation, but he had formed some twisted satisfaction once he heard and felt the glass shatter. But ******** did that hurt his hand, glancing down at the profusely bleeding hand, with skin peeled off, he didn't do well with blood. Suddenly he felt an easy feeling set in the pit of his stomach, forcing it's way out through his esophagus and out his mouth. Leaning over through the window, his arms scraping against the broken glass which penetrated his skin, and blowing chunks all over the driver's seat of the car. In the midst of recoiling back and standing up at his full height outside the car he soon realized:

s**t this isn't my car. It's...Theo's. ********. I'm dead. God, I hate my life. Maybe him killing me will be a good thing. Not like anyone would miss me. ********, I sound like an emo b***h, I gotta get the hell outta here.

Riley had dug herself a hole to the point of where there was no returning back up to the surface. And she just couldn't be stopped. In Matt comes into the picture as a sort of desperate last resort to ease the crazy, messed up notion she has to get Derrick's attention and make him jealous. Lo and behold, it backfires in her face. Not only, does she end up hurting the guy she was trying to make jealous but she was also developing feelings for the guy she was using. Oh but there's yet another plot twist in this ******** up story. The guy she was pining for but ended up hurting wasn't hurt at all. Nope. In fact, after catching Riley in the shower with another guy and acting as though he was actually affected by it, he goes off trying to get into some freshman's pants. Sure, there was a chance that Riley just misconstrued Derrick's gesture of showing Sloane the dock. But this was ******** Derrick Boone we were talking about. The guy's brain was practically lodged in his d**k . If his bringing Sloane to the dock was just a nice little innocent outing than the guy wouldn't have the reputation he did. Yes; Derrick wasn't exactly the douchebag he was back in the day. But let's face it, he hadn't changed all that much.

It was stupid. Riley should've known better than to fall for someone like Derrick in the first place. Hell, she should've known better to fall for anyone period. From the minute she felt an ounce of feeling for the guy, Riley should've just cut all ties then and there. But no. She had to be the greedy slut that he called for. His occasional ********. Because pretending like there was something else there far more from just lust was better than not having anything at all. It was stupid. She was stupid.

"Riley, I think we need to ta-,"

Did he really think she wanted to talk to him of all people at the moment? Riley just turned away, knowing her brother's cold glare was enough for him to take the hint. It was only then she had realized that Derrick's coming forward to try and talk to her exposed what relationship they did have to her unknowing brother. An uncaring sigh escaped her. The guy had to find out about it sooner or later ( she was just surprised it wasn't sooner ). "How long," Was that a question? John's cold unemotional tone of voice didn't make it very clear. The younger Cunningham just looked up at her brother with an annoyed, uncaring expression on her face. Her eyes read, 'What do you think?' "Derrick Boone is nothing but a player. He acts like he is different, but he is still the Bonemiester. I thought you knew that. You’re a Cunningham, you never let people get the best of you." Try telling me something I don't know. Riley didn't want to hear it. She just didn't care for whatever he had to say because she had already heard it all before. "Yes John," she matched her brother's rather cold, unemotional tone. "I've already established all that in this state of ******** self-loathing I'm in here. Moving on.."

"Look, yell at me all you want, I don't care. Just take me home. I don't want to be here right now." Riley rolled her eyes, watching as Ella pulled her brother away. Really? You're going to stand there and hit on my brother? She scoffed, turning the other way. This isn't weird at all. "Fine. I'll find my own ride home," she mumbled to herself, walking away. But John, catching up with her, took her by the arm and lead her the other way. As they made their way through the large crowd, Riley caught a glimpse of Matt. He looked pissed off, a little sad, and she couldn't help but feel guilty. She did that to him and she didn't think there was really anything she could do to make up for it. She slipped through, making sure he didn't see her and exited the house with her brother.

"Sorry if I'm too protective," Riley scoffed as he began. He wasn't the one who needed to apologize. She was the one lying her a** off to him. She was the one hiding how much of a slut she was behind his back. She was the one taking advantage of his trust. Riley kept silent, her eyes on the dark view of the lake out the window of his Charger. "I just don't want guys like me to break your heart Riley.." I didn't even know I had a heart until recently. "Just let me be a good big brother for once in the past year.."

She sighed, exasperated resting her head on her big brother's shoulder. "Let's just go home. I'm ready to crash.." Without saying another word, John pulled the car out of the lake house driveway and onto the road. Riley kept her eyes glued on the view out her passenger window."You know, if you're gonna redeem yourself, I can't let you show me up. I'll try to be the supportive sister. Try to be. But I draw the line at the girls you bring home. I will not support another Roary/John reunion you hear me?"

After awhile, the alcohol in her system started to kick in. The half-asleep younger Cunningham began telling her dear big brother the ******** up story of Derrick and Riley ( and Matt ). "..Just promise me you won't kick his a**. I can handle that myself," she murmured, a grin forming on her face as she said the words. The moment she pushed Derrick into the cold depths of the lake clear in her head. "And I'm serious about the celibate thing. Sex is just too complicated to handle for the slut to handle," her voice had lowered to an almost whisper, trying to fight the battle against her drooping eyes. "Ma-Matt.."

                                    Good night.

( ooc ) eeeew. anyways, so i think i'm done with riley until the time skip. edited a little

Theo had only come to this party to cheer up his best friend. Little did he know that this was going to be thrown straight into his face. Theo watched as his friend began to walk away, a confused expression on his face. Why was this guy acting so emo lately? Theo smiled slightly as Matt said that he wouldn’t want to ******** with him and Cory. Perhaps the guy was finally going to lighten up to the fact that Theo had a girl-.

"Besides, you getting into a fight? That's doubtful. It's quite apparent that you'd chose your hoe over your bro."

Theo’s jaw dropped and his eyebrows raised in shock of what Matt had just said to him. Was this guy serious? How many times did they have to go through this? ”What the ******** did you just say to me,” Theo said in an angered and surprised tone, cold eyes narrowing in on Matt’s figure. He had expected Matt to just walk away after saying that. He was never one to get aggressive with Theo. The linebacker knew that he was inferior in fighting and arguing to the disgruntled safety. He would just walk away, like the good little boy he was.

"I needed my best friend, and you weren't here for me. I've always had your back, the one time that I need you to be there for me, you're not."

Scratch that. Theo looked at the ground for a moment, doing his best to disguise how much what Matt had just said hurt him. He would not let Matt make him look like a complete douche bag. The safety raised his head and glared at the ranting linebacker. ”Matt, you’re the reason that I even came to this ******** party. Are you really going to act like a b***h,” Theo said in a threatening tone, trying to make Matt realize that he was beginning to push his luck. Theo didn’t want to fight his best friend, but the guy was pushing it. Theo had simply asked if he needed to beat someone up for Matt, and this was what he got as a reaction. To be honest, the safety didn’t understand what he had done wrong. Matt got to see Theo all the time lately, especially since Cory was taking that college course and was gone during the week. Theo did his best to hide his confused emotions and upkeep his intimidating stature. He wanted to make sure Matt knew that throwing a punch at the safety would be the end of him.

"s**t, my parents even ******** ditched me for a damn job. Everyone I ever cared about keeps leaving me. I can't be all smiles and sunshine, acting like nothing's bothering me. And don't you dare say that you give a ******** about me because we both know that you don't. We're not friends. "

Was Matt serious right now? Was he going to bring up bad family s**t and act like an emo b***h? How long had they been friends? Probably as long as Tyler and Derrick had been friends, and that was saying a lot. Theo allowed his hardened expression to soften at these words. Was Matt serious? Did he really think that the safety wasn’t his friend anymore? ”Matt, listen bro,” Theo started, but he was soon cut off. Theo took a few steps back as the drunken linebacker pushed him. Theo looked around, at the drunken faces of the party. Matt’s little outburst had drawn a crowd, and now everyone was expecting a fight. A cold expression grew on his face as his eyes locked in on Matt. It was taking everything that he was to not swing a punch at the linebacker. He kept trying to remember the fact that no matter how Matt was acting, the guy was still his friend. Fists clenched tight and heart beating quickly, Theo waited for Matt to throw a punch. He wouldn’t start the fight, but if Matt took a swing at him, Theo would have no problem proving to everyone that you did not swing a punch at Theo Grim.

"You're a coward. Always will be. Have a good life, Windbag. I'm done with all of you."

Theo watched Matt go, standing there with an angered expression on his face. His breathing began to slow within a few seconds of Matt leaving the party, and he allowed a small sigh to escape his mouth. He looked over at Derrick’s shocked expression, and then everyone at the party. He had basically given up his reputation as a hot head to be a good friend. Despite the drunken nature of the linebacker, some of the things he had said made since. Theo had bailed on him tonight, and he had obviously been having a bad one. Theo let out a frustrated groan and punched a wall before heading in the direction that Matt had gone. He need to apologize for being a s**t friend. As much as Theo hated apologizing, it had to be done. He and Matt had been bros for far too long to allow some drunken words come between them. Stepping outside, Theo’s eyes searched for his friend, and soon saw him beating the s**t of his car. However, as he drew closer, Theo realized something. As Matt leaned in through a broken window to puke into the car, Theo’s eyes widened. That was his Civic. Matt had trashed Theo’s car.

And now he was a dead man.

”MOTHER ********,” Theo roared in anger as he neared the linebacker. A small crowd had followed Theo outside, thinking that Theo’s sole intetions were to fight Matt. The contrary had been true, Theo was coming out to apologize to his best friend. However, upon seeing what that rich b***h had done to his car, anger consumed him. Theo wasn’t in control anymore, Reaper was.

                                        And Reaper was pissed.

Without another word, Reaper grabbed Matt by the shoulder and ripped him away from the car. Then, without so much as a warning, Theo raised his right fist and sent a right hook straight to Matt’s nose, knocking the surprised linebacker to the ground. ”COME ON MATT, GET THE ******** UP! YOU WANTED REAPER! HERE HE IS!,” Theo said, taking his shirt off and throwing to the ground as Matt got to his feet. He was going to teach the linebacker a lesson in manners. As Matt raised his fists, Theo moved in to fight his best friend.

Pretty much right after Derrick had greeted Matt, a girl that he didn’t immediately recognize joined the group. At first, Derrick assumed that she was from the Hercules school district. However, as he studied her more thoroughly, a small look of shock grew across his face. This was Taylor the duck! The chick that was so ugly that when you saw her you had to duck. Well, at least she used to be that girl. She appeared to have completely changed her appearance. Derrick wasn’t proud of it, but he had been the one to come up with that expression. Being one of the most popular guys in school, even at that young age, the expression had quickly caught on. Derrick allowed a small smile to cross his face as he wrapped an arm around her waist and planting a small kiss on her cheek as a greeting. ”Taylor! I can’t believe that you’re here. You look absolutely amazing,” Derrick said in a genuine tone. He allowed a small smirk to cross his face as she asked about the drama that had gone on tonight. Derrick could think of several things that he could mention, but opted not to. He was about to say something along the lines of ‘just a typical party at Chez Boone’ when Matt began to rip into him.

Derrick’s jaw dropped, not believing that Matt had openly said all this to him. Fact number one: Derrick hadn’t slept with Riley, nor had he meant to completely c**k block Matt. Besides, even if he had, Derrick did not feel bad about it. The guy was being hypocritical, for he had done the same thing to Derrick not fifteen minutes before then. Fact number two: the nice guy routine wasn’t phony. Derrick had genuinely changed, and that was the only reason that he wasn’t taking a swing at Matt for being such a p***k. Fact number three: Derrick didn’t care if John hated him. Everyone at the school hated John and no one cared what he had to say about anyone in the school. Due to his changed personality, Derrick kept all these facts to himself. The last thing that he wanted to do was start a fight with Matt. Instead, Derrick turned his attention to his cell phone. Glancing down at the text message he had received from Chili, Derrick couldn’t help but smile to see that Chili had hooked up with Roxy. The guy had wanted to sleep with her for a long time, so he knew that Chili wouldn’t be emo for the remainder of the night. Derrick opted to not reply to this text message, considering the fact that Chili would probably be by his side within ten minutes.

Looking up from his phone, Derrick allowed a grateful smile to see that Chili was already downstairs and that Theo and Cory had joined the party. ”Whats up Chili,” Derrick said with a smirk on his face, high fiving the guy as he joined the group. As Chili greeted Taylor, Derrick turned his attention to Cory as she complemented his lake house. It wasn’t often that she spoke to him without referring to him as an air head football player, so Derrick gave her positive reinforcement every time that she did so. ”Thanks Cory, glad you could make it” Derrick said in a pleasant tone, sending her one of his charming Derrick Boone smiles. Derrick then turned his head to look at Theo to greet him as well. ”You too big man. Maybe you can cheer negative Nancy over here up,” Derrick said with a joking tone, jerking his head in Matt’s direction as he said this.

Derrick basically ignored Roary when she joined the group momentarily to talk to Taylor, Sure, Derrick was now a nice guy, but that didn’t mean that he had to be nice to Roary. She had just put Chili in an awkward position not an hour ago, and Derrick was a bro first. Okay, so Derrick wanted Chili to get with Roary to shove it into John’s face, but Chili wasn’t down, so Derrick wasn’t going to push it. Instead, Derrick turned his attention to Roxy as she joined the group. Smirking at the girl when she thanked him for throwing the party. ”No worries girl, I was happy to do so. Drive safe, Derrick said with a small smile, before turning attention to Chili was a large smirk on his face as she tapped her cell phone in his direct. Derrick gave his friend a playful, congratulatory punch on the shoulder, before Matt’s angered voice brought his attention away from Chili’s success and to the building tense situation not five feet from them. Derrick’s jaw dropped as Matt shoved Theo. The wide receiver began to put his beer down. If there was going to be a fight, Derrick wanted to make sure that none of his family’s s**t got broken. He began to open his mouth to tell the pair of them to take it outside, before they appeared to do so on their own accord. First Matt left, and then Theo. Breathing a sigh of relief, Derrick picked up his beer and turned his attention to the people still standing by his side: Chili and Taylor.

”I don’t know about you two, but I’m getting ******** sick of high school drama,” Derrick said with a small smirk on his face, before looking over at the beer pong table. ”Alright, lets play some beer pong. How about you and me take on Chili Taylor? What do you say?” Derrick asked, glancing over at the gymnast with one of his trademark charming smiles. He didn’t want to hook up with this girl, though he would be down if she was. He just wanted to hang out with people that were not going to start any more drama for this party. Chili was Derrick’s best friend, so he knew that he would be one of those people, and Derrick assumed that Taylor was the sweet girl that she appeared to be, and thus would not start any drama.

Standing wiht two bone-heads, Taylor had become bored but she sitll swayed from time to time to the music and sipped her drink, watching all of the people aorund her go buck wild and crazy. "Well, you know guys it was fun and all but.....-" Taylor said before she saw him turn around. He was Tyler. More important, he was Taylor's old crush. Taylor had it bad for this guy back when she was a junior and a sophmore, too bad she had been totally humilated when she found out people figured out about it. She figured Cory would have done it, or given her the most hell for it, so she stopped liking him all together. The funny thing was he was actually nice to her. Taking hte small hug she grinned at his reply to her and nodded. "Ofcourse I'm back for good. You know I couldn't leave this great place." Taylor said with a small sigh sarcasm in her words. "I know right? Concord is sooo not ready for me." She said with a sweet smile, trying to remember to keep her devious ways for later, but she had to admit, she looked amazing. "And where did you just come form Mr.Childress?" Taylor asked with a raised eyebrow as she folded her arms over her chest.

Turning around, Taylor heard the annoying voice she had learned to tune out in her ear. It was no other than Roary Day. Feeling her blood begin to automatically boil, she had to think twice about not pouring her drink all over her head and giving her a fist to her face. Everything about her screamed fake and ignorant to Taylor, even from the smile on her face. Her voice rang in Taylor's ears as she listened to her so called compliment. Scrunching her nose slightly, she bit her tounge so she wouldn't say anythine she would regret, figuring she could " befriend " Roary, and then just watch her self destruct like she deserved to. Instead, Taylor let her finish and cocked her head to the side and spoke. "Oooh no. Sorry Roary, I'm a bit too smart to let these bone heads get into my pants like they might have with you. But don't worry, I'll take the advice." Taylor said with a sweet smile, laughing in her mind about the comment she had made. Being mean and pretending to be nice was actually pretty fun. Turning to look at the guys she shook and her head and spoke. 'No offense guys, I guess your pretty...smart." Taylor said wiht an encouraging nod and smile before letting out a small laugh at herself. Boy this is getting too good!

Then another one, no two came up. Watching Theo and Cory approach the guys, she waited, giving them a moment to soak in her new look. When neither seemed to recongize her, she frowning a bit finishing her drink before watching Cory leave. When she was gone, Theo had turned to Matt and proceeded to ask him what happened to his face. Come to think of it, that was a good question, but Taylor wasn't letting this a*****e get away without saying something to her. "Wow Theo, so you can't even speak to a girl anymore? It's me, Taylor? Taylor Kensington." Taylor said proudly, trying to jog his memory on remembering her. She couldn't really blame him if he didn't, but she had to try. Besides it wouldn't have been a formal greeting if she didn't pretend to be nice to him. Before she had known it Roxy had also joined the group. What was this? Her lucky day? Taylor felt like it could have been Christmas already. Seeing Roxy smile at her hadn't made her blood boil as much as Roary did, but it still had the same effect. "Yeah it's me. Haha thanks girl." Taylor said casually wondering why Roxy had ignored Roary. Something had happened, and she looked at Tyler, feeling as though he might have had something to do with it. Waving Roxy off, she smiled and turned back to the group that had formed around her.

Matt's outburst had suprised Taylor. Throwing back the rest of her drink, she hid the smile that was forming on her face from the unraveling events and watched at Matt through his temper tantrum, looking bakc at Derrick to see if he would respond. Once Matt had gone off his own way, Taylor let out a loud sigh and shook her head. "Wow." Was all she said, when she really wanted to just laugh at Derrick. But something that genuinely suprised her, was how Derrick reacted. She was suprised he didn't say much back, or punch Matt in the face at that. Why was he acting so...nice? This wasn't Derrick. Nope, couldn't be. Taylor's eyes averted to the scene that was going on in the house. Appearntly, Theo and Matt were going to fight. Keeping her eyes glued to the two, she watched them go outside and thought of following them, but Derrick's voice brought a new idea to her mind. Beer pong would have been fun. But, this might have been one thing she didn't know about. Just act cool and watch. Taylor with a nod at Derrick and smile going over the beer pong table. "Drama is overrated ! I just hope you know how ot play beer pong, because Taylor plays to win." She said with a wink and laugh at she looked at Chili. Heading to one side of the table, Taylor counted the cups and picked up the ping pong ball, tapping it on the table, a bit nervous. Throwing would be the easy part, but Taylor was wondering how many cups she would have to drink. She didn't want to end up trashed at the party.....but then again, she came to have fun.

The freshmen sat with Skye. Drowning sorrows? "I don't have any sorrows. Just wanna have fun." Well maybe she could call Tyler and Roxy a sorrow. The image of Tyler and Roxy kept replaying itself in her head. This was horrible. Squeezing her eyes shut she rubbed her temples. As she did this she took several deep breathes. She needed to relax and let go of the drama that happened a few minutes ago. Roxy and Tyler together. Why? He had just hurt Roary. How the hell did Tyler sleeping with Roxy fix anything? Everything was making little Sloane's head hurt. Nothing seemed to be happening the way it was suppose to. Seeing Roxy she turned the opposite way. She didn't want to hear a word the female had to say. No one would understand how upset Sloane was right now. Sloane needed to do no such thing. Hearing Roxanne out was not an option. The words "Roxy cheated" instantly caught Sloane's attention. "Huh?" If Sloane thought she was confused before she was sadly mistaken. So Roxy and John were dating and Roary stole him for herself. "That's horrible. How could she live with herself knowing that she hurt you?" The question was more to herself then Roxy. Sloane couldn't live with herself if she betrayed someone's trust. She knew that feeling and it was hell. She would never wish that on someone she hated.

Sloane glared at Skye. No. She could not text Roary. The girl was already heartbroken this would kill her. Besides that would be adding fuel to the fire. Before she could object. Skye had snapped her phone close. s**t! She hoped the text didn't start any drama. After all the two weren't on good terms. Hearing Skye's voice she swallowed the lump in her throat. "No Roary would never do that. Would she? She's my friend. I trust her. Or do I? She betrayed Roxy and Roxy was her best friend. Maybe she would leave me out to dry. Keep an eye on her." Sloane snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Skye talk about having her back when Roary betrayed her. She smiled not knowing she should feel good or bad. Good because Skye would have her back or bad because Roary would betray her. Sloane listened to Skye go on about Roary deserving what she got. Maybe she did. The naive freshmen hated to think this way but if you were going around betraying people it was only far you got some in return.

Roxy began reinforcing the idea of Roxy betraying her. She'd take their word. Skye and Roxy wouldn't lie to her. Would they? They seemed like they were genuinely watching out for her. She smiled at Roxy. "Thanks for watching out for me." She said. She was glad to have friends like Roxy and Skye. She'd hang with Roary but she'd stay alert around her. No need to make Roary's job of stabbing her in the back easier. Getting up they went off in Skye's direction and quickly joined her in the dance. This is all she had asked for. Come to the party and have a bit of fun. The dance was nice and she could feel eyes on her along with Roxy and Skye. Being in the spotlight with her girls. At least she was finding out who her friends were. Feeling her elbow being squeezed she stopped dancing and looked to Roxy. "Yeah. Make sure you do. Get home safe and thanks." She watched Roxy walk off and continued to dance with Skye as the song ended and "Imma Be" by Black Eyed Peas came on. Skye and Sloane had done a dance to this. It took a while for Sloane to get the dance down. Skye had pretty much threatened her until she was sleeping, eating, and breathing the routine. She smiled as her and Skye took over the dance floor with their routine.

WOW! Talk about a party! Thursday night was just another night at Chez Boone. Filled with drama and action, but much of Cougar County already knows about what went down. For those of you who don’t know, lets recap shall we? Derrick walked in on Matt and Riley in the shower, when they were about to… yeah. That was awkward. After Derrick stormed off, Riley left Matt in the shower to go after the wide receiver. When she found him outside talking to Sloane and Roxy, Riley flipped and pushed Derrick into the lake. Someone sure got a cold shower. After her jealous actions, Riley proceeded to storm back to the lakehouse and talk to Ella about what had just happened, not realizing that her brother John was standing right there. After that, John drove his little sister home to discover that both Derrick and Matt had been sleeping with his kid sister behind his back. John did not need another reason to dislike the wide receiver, and it is questionable how this will effect his partnership with the linebacker. Only time will tell.

Speaking of the linebacker, he had a rough night. After being left in the shower, Matt hooked up with Ella, which was probably the high point of his night. After going downstairs, he was physically attacked by Skye for calling her a slut, in light of their break up a few months back. After that, Derrick had tried to be a good captain and cheer his teammate up, only to have it thrown into his face. Matt ripped into Derrick right in front of Taylor, whom was intrigued by the fact that the cocky receiver that she remembered did not react to such an outright bitching out. It wasn’t long before Theo arrived at the party, only to receive the same treatment from Matt as Derrick had. After bitching the safety out, Matt went outside and trashed Theo’s car, thinking that it was his. When Theo came outside to apologize, only to see that his car was trashed, he lost it and kicked the s**t out of Matt. Someone at the party drove Matt home, who was sent to the hospital by the house sitter. It wasn’t from the fight, but rather from the deep cuts on his hands. However, most people in Concord don’t know that, and Theo is the school’s bad a** of the week. ******** what the song says man. You have to fear the Reaper.

Tyler had an interesting night. It started out good, just hanging out with Derrick and Kyle. However, that all turned downhill when Roary drunkenly confessed her love for him, which John overheard, causing the quarterback to break up with her on the spot. Tyler did what any bro would, he told Roary to be with John. There are many fish in the sea, which the tight end found out very quickly. An hour or so after he had told Roary to go get her boyfriend back, he ended up sleeping with Roxy. After that, he played a match of beer pong with Derrick and Taylor. It was a close match, but Derrick and Taylor came out on top. He crashed on Derrick’s coach that night. Taylor actually had gotten pretty drunk during that beer pong game. Derrick let her crash in his bed while he crashed in Damien’s bed. Again, when Taylor woke up the next morning, she was surprised that Derrick hadn’t tried anything on her. Who was this guy, and where was the cocky Bonemiester that she had planned on getting back at for years?

Sloane was kind of mad at Roxy for sleeping with Tyler after Roary had confessed her love for him. She said that Roxy was a terrible friend for betraying Roary’s trust. Afterwards, Roxy and Skye filled Sloane in on the things that Roary had done in the past. Afterwards, Roxy went home and the other two danced the night away before going back to Sloane’s place for the night. After confessing her love and being dumped by her boyfriend, Roary had a heart to heart with Kyle, and the two actually almost hooked up if it hadn’t been for Cory,. Afterwards, Roary hung out at the party a while longer before getting a lift home. Cory, and Kyle didn’t exactly have a lot of time to catch up, for the newspaper editor soon heard of what had happened to her boyfriend’s car and the aftermath between him and Matt, so she had to go and calm Theo down. Later on, Kyle gave Theo and Cory, a ride to Cory’s before turning in himself.

See. Told you it was another Boone party.

Today is Sunday, and everyone but Matt has the day off from work. It isn’t all that bad for the linebacker though, he didn’t want to talk to anyone anyways. Besides, he is working as a lifeguard at the beach that everyone is at and John is keeping him company. Derrick, Tyler, and Kyle are at the beach, tossing a football around. Theo and Cory are hanging out close to the three football players. Cory is trying to be there for her boyfriend, who is obviously still upset about Matt, but the safety does not want to talk about it. Sloane, Skye, Roxy and Taylor are soaking up some sun and watching the boys play catch and run. It seems that Taylor’s new look and fake personality is winning everyone over. Riley and Ella are sitting in a shaded area just off the beach, talking about Derrick of all people. It seems Riley was actually hurt for once. Roary is just rolling up onto the beach now, so it will be interesting to see who she chooses to talk to. She lost two of the men in her life Thursday night.

                                      Okay! Lights! Camera! Action!

Roxanne sighed as she pushed her hair from her face. She had gotten up this morning and walked to her job, only to find out that they didn’t need her that day. She had then turned and gone home, and checked her Facebook to see that everyone had gone to the beach. Smiling, she had quickly changed and was soon at the beach and ready for a new day.

                              -----------Under the Boardwalk-----------

Roxanne looked up and shielded her eyes. She was laying down on the small beach chair that she had brought with her. She had packed some sandwiches, drinks, extra towels, some chairs, and of course this huge beach towel she got from her mother’s closet. She pushed her sunglasses up on top of her head, and watched the guys play some football. She peered at Tyler as he played football with Derrick and Kyle. She couldn’t help but think about the party and what they had done. She groaned as she sank back into the chair, it was probably just a mistake what she had done. But then again, they were both drunk. She had an excuse. Sighing, she pushed her hair from her face again, and looked down at her new swimsuit. She had bought it that morning, and absolutely had to have it.

She got up, and decided to stretch, the sunglasses falling back on her face. She pushed the hat that she wore on her head, she got whistles and catcalls as she walked up to the showers. She wanted to put on a show, and decided it would be fun. She loved her outfit today. She had a bikini she got from Victoria Secret that she used her discount card for. They hadn’t even had it out on the shelf yet. Smiling, she swiped her hat off, and then set it on one of the posts, and then her sunglasses on that. She stepped into the stream of water and let the water flow down her body.

She closed her eyes and washed the sand off that had stuck to her body from the suntan lotion, and the sweat. She hated sweating, but it came with the weather. She peeked one eye open to see a group of freshmen boys just staring. They seemed to be enjoying the view, as she smoothed her hair back, and let the water glide off. She turned the water off, and then grabbed her hat and sunglasses. She proceeded to walk back to her hair and laid back on it. She had her fun, and was glad that the guys had their share in the show. She looked towards Tyler and them, and licked her lips at the sight of Tyler’s back. Damn, she needed to stop, hell she’d become a Roary if she kept watching, and doing. She but her lip and reached into the large cooler and grabbed a Coke. She sipped it as she grabbed her book from her bag.

Okay, yea she had a book. It was for her classes at Julliard. It was her music history one, and she had to get started on her pages and worksheets. She sighed as she looked down at the book, trying not to think of the gods that were playing right in front of her. She leaned back, and then started to flip through the pages. She sipped her coke, and set her hat on her head. She let one leg idly ease up until one leg is straight, and the other bent. She let her flip flops fall off on to the side. She sighed as she looked around, wondering what she should do now. She looked over her book, wondering how she could get the boys attention, more then her body.

Pulsating pain shot through his body, whilst perched up on his chair, overlooking the beach. It seemed like he was in constant pain, physically and mentally. His face had started healing, he had a couple of bruises and cuts but apparently he could pull it off, or so the girls (yes, plural) he picked up told him last night. Unfortunately, his hand was still ******** up, it was still throbbing and it was broken, but he didn't get a cast on it. Instead he just wrapped it up in athletic tape so he could do all the activities that he wanted to without the restrictions of a cast or people making him out to be a p***y because he was injured and pitying him. Now, it just looked like he was ready to bash someone's face in at any moment. Accompanied by the seemingly perpetual pissed off look that he carried, he looked like quite the badass. Even though it seemed like every single muscle in body was aching due to the beating he had gotten, but it was mainly just his arms and his hand. His arms sort of looked like he had been slitting his wrists, but it was only because of the broken glass that penetrated his skin while puking and then again once he abruptly thrown to the ground and landed on all the broken glass from the window. Needless to say, Theo wasn't ecstatic about Matt trashing his car and Matt just felt like sort of a p***k. Normally, he was clear - headed and didn't get frustrated that easily, but the combination of the alcohol in his system and how betrayed he felt by every single person that he cared about in his life ignited some type of fire and anger in him that he hadn't experienced before. And it scared him, how easily he could just lose control and act like a douche bag. What he did was unforgettable and he lost his best friend that day, it wasn't like any of their other fights, he didn't think that he could ever make it up to him.

And that just pissed him off even more. That is where the mental and emotional pain comes in. Theo and Matt had been best buds forever and Matt let his own emotional baggage get in the way of their friendship when he hadn't really done anything bad that day. All the little things had just started accumulate and he had to let it all go, in form of him completely trashing Theo's car. Now he was just lonely, his only friend was John Cunningham who had recently started going off on a guy named Matt that he wanted to mentally ******** up for doing his sister and more than once at that, so he was pretty sure that he would lose his only friend in a matter of time. But he wouldn't show that. Nope. Number one rule of John Cunningham was to not show any emotions. While Matt didn't show remorse for his actions, he allowed his rage to engulf him and feast on his heart so that he could be as cold as possible and started to convince himself that none of this was his fault. It wasn't his fault that Theo decided to go bang the newspaper editor, fall in love, and then ditch his best friend for her. It wasn't his fault that Riley bailed on him in the shower and didn't even have the decency to finish up and then go ******** Derrick, she just up and left without a second glance. It wasn't his fault that Skye's aggression got the best of her and bitched Matt out. None of it was his fault, it everyone else's and that was what allowed him to not feel like a p***k, instead he wanted revenge on everyone that ******** him over.

The problem was that he didn't like all his anger and revenge bullshit. He had a short fused but he never stayed angry for a long amount of time, but hanging out with John had made him a stronger person. Now he was able to harness all his anger and put it into something that could work to his advantage instead of looking like a loose cannon. The one thing that he despised more than his anger and sadness was all this pain. His head was starting to hurt due to his conflicting emotions and it was summer, he wasn't supposed to have to think about important stuff, it was just supposed to be taken care of. Right now he was at his breaking point, where no one cared and he felt completely useless. And he was confused, he had never had to deal with the whole emotional bullshit, but his heart was basically ripped out, stomped on, and broken in two, which floored him, sent him to ground and made him feel so ******** pathetic. He felt sick and just wanted to fall over and sleep the day away, to force his insides to remain quiet for once and stop the overflowing emotions, because he was a live wire. Everything seemed to pointless and irritating, and he was so confused. Confused about everything, he was unable to distinguish between reality and fantasy, like he didn't know what was real and what wasn't, everything was slowly fading and all he could decipher were vague blurs of people trapped within themselves.

And that's what we call withdrawl symptoms.

Sobriety was really ******** overrated. Along with the drug - free bullshit, if it makes you feel happy then why the hell not? ******** authority. Heaving a sigh, Matt slipped on his aviators to cover his red, watery, dilated eyes, a sign of drug abuse but no one had really bothered to check up on him since he was a heartless douche bag. He really hated the sun, it seemed like it was shining just to mock him and how pathetically lonely he was and how his only friend was almost as lonely as he was. John was currently rambling about how he wanted to destroy some individual, Matt wasn't sure who because his s**t list was pretty long, but nonetheless, Matt was their to aid him if he needed any help or back - up. "Yeah, bro. Let's get that cocksucker." Matt said egging him on, giving him an enthusiastic smile as if he had been actually listening intently. "But, s**t, dude, I say we ******** with Derrick first. I mean, he basically encouraged Chili to get with your girlfriend, made you lose your starting position, and tea bagged your sister. I can't imagine how ******** pissed you would be." Actually, I can. But that's not the point. Let's go ******** up Derrick the douche bag. "Bro, I'll be right back, can you cover for me really quickly. You don't have to do anything, just sit and stare intently at the water. That's what I do anyways." He said excusing himself, while pulling his hood up over his messy hair, since he had stopped caring about his appearance, but that still didn't stop him from getting sex consistently from various sources.

One would think that it was an odd choice clothing on an especially hot day at the beach, but he had started wearing hoodies and long sleeved shirts to hide all the cuts and bruises on his arms from the fight and the scarring at the injection sites. Injecting what? OxyContin. He had gotten some painkillers for his hand from the hospital, but they were oddly addictive so he started getting some from other sources. OC's were by far his favorite drug, even if he had dabbled in some coke and weed, if he ever needed to forget about anything or just alleviate the pain he'd shoot up. And s**t it felt good to relinquish all the pain he had been bearing. Without anything in his system, he felt strange and empty, and he had been trying to quit, but everything just seemed like it was shot to hell was he was sober. So, ******** sobriety, as he walked off the beach he glanced over at Riley and Ella who seemed like they were in an intense conversation. Rolling his eyes at them, he was still pissed at Riley, with good reason, but she didn't seem too shaken up about it. With one cold, angry glare in her direction, he entered his car and turned the heat up to fog up the already tinted windows (gotta take precautions), before taking out his already grinded oxy tablet in a bag, combining the pill saline solution, using a cotton ball, before drawing it through the syringe. Pulling his sleeve up, he shoved the needle into his arm and by God it felt good. But not as good as his first high. He needed to get back to his first high, he wouldn't settle for anything less than the best. Unfortunately, he hadn't brought any more oxy's with him, but he had a pot brownie and vodka in a water bottle. So, maybe, the cocktail might even surpass his first high - the one he had been chasing after over and over.

Shoving his sleeve down, he exited the car, brownie and vodka in hand. Forcing the brownie in his mouth, he liked pot this way more than smoking it because it just smelled just s**t, and bringing the bottle to his lips. No one could reprimand the lifeguard for eating a brownie and having some water. While on his way back to his lifeguarding post, he kept his eyes to the ground and ended up walking into a tree, er three trees? That's what it looked like. "Aw, ********] He mumbled as he face planted right next to Ella and Riley. Seriously, where did that tree come from? He must've looked real cool doing that, making way for a charming smile on his face. "Guess I'm falling head over heals for you, but you're probably used that type of thing by now." He said to Ella while getting up to cover his dipshit-ness. "Ella, right? I never thanked you for the last party. I really needed someone, so, uh, thank you! I really appreciate it. Good to know that there's at least one Boone who's not a douche s**t. So thanks for the-" he was abruptly cut off by a co - worker. "MATTHEW JEREMIAH!" The last time anyone had called him by his first and middle name was when he was eight, good to know some things don't change. "Ahhhhh ********! The British are coming, the British are coming! Take cover!" He said before diving towards a tree and taking ahold of it and climbing up it.

"Whoa. Now I know how cats feel. I wonder why get up there, but they can't come down. I always found that really really really ******** weird, like whoa-" Surprising dizziness overtook, if he didn't have his sunglasses on then they would've been able to see his eyes glaze over before falling off the tree, no worries, his arms broke the fall. "Cats are cool. But I like dinosaurs more." He began randomly. "I like dinosaurs, they have like claws and s**t. It's pretty badass. I wish I was a dinosaur. I'd be the uh...Mattasaurous Rex rawrrrrrrrr! Wouldn't that be crazy wicked awesome? I'd be so bamfed out. I could be the mega bamf or-" A pissed off, yet hot co - worker made Matt's rant come to a halt. "What are you doing?" He hated it when people were mad at him. "I, uh...We were having a philosophical conversation, it's just so compelling I couldn't get away." She was not humored. "We were asking questions that have no definite answer like...what the meaning of life? Or, uh, if Pinocchio says 'my nose is going to grow' does it grow or not? Deep s**t like that, right, guys? Back me up, here, dude! Can't leave a bro hanging!" Silence rang for a moment with the feisty fellow lifeguard glaring at Matt and him looking over to the two juniors with pleading eyes, as if them confirming his actions would have any effect. "Why don't I just make it up to you tomorrow night over dinner?" And with a few quick kisses, caresses, and a charming smile, he got his way. But not before he got an earful of yelling. "Later Ella, it was nice talking to you!" He said with a grin on his face and caught a glimpse of Riley. I'm not going to bother with you since you didn't bother with me. Turning his back on them before heading back to John. "Bro!" He greeted with a chipper tone, elongating the "o" in the word so it stretched out from a monosyllable word to like eight syllables. "Let's get to scheming and ******** up people's lives, hit me with what you got."

                              ooc;really ******** weird post
                              sorry about that

[ ROARschoolSPIRIT is texting: ] NO ONE!!!

Roary glanced at herself in the mirror. She was in her room, alone and wishing that in some way or form, she wasn’t making herself go out today. She closed her eyes and hummed a small tune to herself as she brushed her hair out again for the fifteenth time. She didn’t quite understand why she was working so hard to make herself look good…she had no one to impress anymore. Well, maybe Kyle, but then again…he would just be a friend. Kyle was actually quite a good friend. When they had talked, it had been something that had really opened Roary’s eyes. She had never opened up like that to anyone really… except Tyler in private, and Roxy (when they used to be friends). Kyle had been there for her and had been quite supportive. She had rather enjoyed that. As for Cory, she wanted to be on better terms with the girl. She knew that as of right now, Cory was probably impassive about Roary trying to be friends with Kyle. Though, deep down, she knew the girl was watching her like a hawk.

“There…you look gorgeous…” she murmured to her reflection.

Roary put down the brush, then looked at herself again. She wondered who she really was now… She was still the bitchy head cheerleader…but what was this new side that was starting to come out in her? She had never felt this strongly about a guy before. She had never felt this strongly, especially for a guy that she thought hated her now! She swallowed the lump that had formed in her throat when she thought of Roxy and Tyler…together. Roary shook her head, ridding herself of those thoughts. She wouldn’t think of Roxy and Tyler being together anymore. That night had been painful enough…what with her confessing feelings, and then being turned away…and then the guy she had confessed said feelings for had gone behind her back and done the nasty with her EX best friend. Which brought Roary to another subject…

Why the hell could Roxy just not get over these things? She thought the girl had been smart enough to realize that she hadn’t even been the one to initiate her and John getting back together. That day when John had cornered her in the parking lot…If only Skye had heard the whole damn conversation…If only she had realized and read between the lines…the lies John was constantly whispering into her ears… Why the hell couldn’t anyone have seen their forced relationship?!

“Because everyone is fake…” she whispered to herself.

“Everyone lives in their own little world…And so do you…”

It was true. Well, sort of. Nowadays, Roary had managed to come back to planet Earth. Kyle had brought her back to reality with their talk and all. Now, she saw things through many different points of views. She could see when someone was lying to her…and she knew how to wrap someone around her little finger. She walked away from her mirror and stripped down to change into her bathing suit. She pulled out her bright yellow bikini top and bikini shorts. She pulled them on, the pulled on a pair of shorts over her bottoms. She just decided to leave her bikini top exposed. As she changed, a flurry of thoughts flew through her mind. Why was she so upset? Now she could move on to bigger and better things. Tyler was out of her way now and she could go on and flirt with anyone she wanted. She would attempt to mend things with Roxy, and just completely forget about Skye. The girl was honestly a lost cause. If she was too dense to realize what was going on around her, then that was just too bad for her. Skye, she would attempt to explain things to her as well. The freshman needed to know how to prepare herself. If she intended to ever take their place, then she needed to know the ways of the cheerleader…

“Ah…that’s better…” Roary spoke quietly as she pulled her hair back into a messy bun.

She reached down to a mini fridge that was hidden underneath her makeup table and pulled out a bottle of water. The chilly temperature from the little machine caused goose bumps to rise on her arms, but none of them compared to the goose bumps when she thought of moving on. To be completely honest, she didn’t like the thought of moving on… She still wanted to pursue Tyler…and no matter how much she tried to get him out of her head, it was a lost cause. The guy was just constantly on her mind…and she hated it. Okay, so she didn’t hate it. She wanted to, because she knew he didn’t feel the same way. Though, she didn’t want to hate the fact, because it meant that she would be able to think about him just a little more.

“Gah…listen to yourself Roary…you sound retarded!”

She shook her head again and grabbed a towel out of her closet. Then, she kicked the door shut and reached for her phone. She sent a text to Kyle, letting him know she was on her way to the beach. Though, as she reached for the door handle, she stopped and looked back at the mirror one more time. She could do this…She knew who she was. She was Jessica Roary Day…and she was damn proud.

Roary walked outside and shaded her eyes. She pulled out a pair of sunglasses, then walked over to her car. Her dad had made her trade in her Ferrari for a 2010 Mustang. He had told her to get over it and that when she got older, she could buy it again. To be completely honest, she really didn’t mind the muscle car. She had a lot more room in it and loved the fact that it was a Shelby Cobra. Roary loved the loud roaring noise it made when she drove it. She also tended to have a bit of a speeding problem, but she wasn’t going to think about that quite as much as she thought about other things.

She threw her towel, cell, and bottle of water into the passenger seat, then shut the door. She settled into the driver’s seat and started up the engine. Backing out of the driveway, Roary could almost feel the power this vehicle gave her. It made her feel better to be able to go as fast as she wanted and to be able to drive such a…muscle car. She took off down the street and rolled down the windows, allowing her music to blast out into the open air. Ten minutes later, she rolled up to the beach and killed the engine. When she looked out across the sands, she could see almost EVERYONE from the damn party.

“What the hell is this? Cougar Country Beach Day?!” she asked, slightly flustered.

She shook off the feeling of annoyance, gathered up all of her things, and stepped out of her car. The heat from the afternoon sun was already starting to beat down on her, causing small beads of sweat to form on the back of her neck. She shut the driver’s side door and began making her descent onto the sand. She could see Roxy, Skye, Sloane, and Taylor all getting some sun…along with Tyler, Kyle, and Derrick all playing football out in the sand. For a moment, Roary stopped in her tracks, and almost got back into her car to leave.

No Roary…you can do this…Just show him what he’s missing, love…

Roary smiled at this thought. By this point, she would have no problem doing this. In fact, she’d even go sit with the girls and show them nothing was wrong at all. She would have a good time and would NOT let anything get to her…Yeah…right… She made her way down to where the girls were laid out and smiled. Along the way, she passed slowly by the boys throwing the football. As she did so, she lifted up her sunglasses for a moment to look at Tyler. Oh god…she couldn’t do this. No! She could! She just had to act…natural. Yeah, whatever that meant. She gave him one more longing look, then put her sunglass back down over her eyes and continued walking until she reached the girls. She threw her towel down easily next to Sloane, not wanting to lie near neither Roxy nor Skye and plopped herself down on the towel.

“Well ladies…glad to see I wasn’t the only one with this idea,” she said, meaning the trip to the beach.

“Hope you don’t mind…I’m going to chill near Sloane…and get the nice view of these lovely gentlemen playing in front of us.”

Fake…She was playing fake. It wasn’t the kind of fake her usual bitchy self would play. No, it was more along the lines of the kind of fake that was meant to be shown so that no one would question whether or not you were still upset. Of course she was still upset…but she wouldn’t let Roxy know that. Instead, she would act as though nothing was wrong. She smiled at Sloane and shook out her hair.

“Hope you don’t mind me lying next to you?” she asked.

Roary lied out upon the towel, looking absolutely smoking. And the girl knew it too. If any of the guys were too look at her, they would not see the insecure, sad Roary they had seen that night at the party. They would see the smoking hot, flirtatious senior that they all knew. Of course, she didn’t feel that way on the inside. Deep down, she had the biggest urge to look over at Tyler and just stare at that glorious…body… Then again, it wasn’t all about the body. When they had been alone together, he had also been so much sweeter too. They would talk a lot after a nap and sometimes would talk of things Roary wouldn’t even think of talking about. She just wished….she wished that it would happen again. She blinked her eyes a couple of times, trying to not think about the past; to not think of all of their times alone. Though, no matter how much she tried not too, she found herself pulled farther and farther back into the memories…back into the time when she thought everything was right.

“Argh…I need to go cool off…” she murmured.

Roary pushed herself off of her towel and made her way towards the roaring waves. She smiled happily as she walked, dipping only her feet into the rolling water. As she grew accustomed to the temperature, she walked father in until there was water up to her chest. She closed her eyes for a moment, relishing the feeling of the water all around her. Then, she began making her way towards shore. As she did so, she shook her hair out of her face, send water droplets spraying everywhere. As a couple of guys jogged by, she winked at them, causing one to almost trip. She wanted Tyler…but did he want her? If she kept thinking like this…she wouldn’t be able to flirt with others like she was attempting to do… Ugh…He was constantly on her mind. She ran her hands down her stomach, water droplets falling to the sand from there as she made her way back to her towel, sneaking a look back at that guy on her mind.

Derrick used one hand to cover his eyes as he glanced around the beach area. It seemed as though all of Cougar County had showed up at the beach without any school event planned. Smirking slightly at some girls that walked by, Derrick turned his attention to the two guys he was hanging out with: Kyle and Chili. Ever since John had fallen from grace, Kyle had filled the void when he wasn’t hanging out with Henry or Cory. Since Henry had to take care of family s**t and Cory now spent more time with Theo, Kyle had been hanging out with Derrick and Chili more and more. Turning his attention to the starting quarterback, Derrick extended his hands and caught the ball as the teenager threw it in his direction. Derrick shifted his bare feet in the warm sand, turning his attention to Chili as he lined up his next toss. Bringing the ball back behind his ear and placing his left foot forward, Derrick threw the football in Chili’s direction, sending it to his able hands.

“I still can’t believe you actually hit that,” Derrick said with a small smirk on his face, glancing over at Roxy so that Chili would know what he was talking about. “Might want to be careful though. Remember how she was really clingy with John and s**t? I don’t want you to sprout a vag over a booty call.” With that comment, Derrick chuckled slightly before turning his attention to Kyle as he received the ball. “And you, I heard that you almost hooked up with Roary man. Dude, have you even gotten laid since you’ve been here. Please tell me you’re not a virgin. Virgins are not allowed to be around me.” Derrick was kidding, and his face showed it. However, if Kyle were indeed a virgin, he would definitely help the guy get laid. Kyle was a cooler guy than people gave him credit for; he was just too awkward for his own good. In the words of Steven Stifler, he was one big floppy c**k. He needed to be more confident and assertive. Girls weren’t into guys that didn’t have confidence.

“Post pattern,” Derrick said simply as an instruction to Kyle, whom appeared to be ready to throw the football. Sprinting forwards, past the girls and towards the lifeguard station, Derrick waited for a few seconds before cutting to the inside and towards the boardwalk. Glancing in Kyle’s direction, he saw the ball was already half way to him. However, it was a bit overthrown. It seemed the quarterback was a tad rusty. No matter, Derrick was used to getting way worse throws from John. Adjusting his speed, Derrick saw that he would have to leap to make this catch. Tensing his leg muscles, Derrick sprung off the ground and reached one hand forward. The point of the football made contact with his hand, decelerating almost instantly as Derrick kept a hold of it as he began to fall back to the ground. Derrick brought the football into the safety of his chest as he hit the beach surface. The sand particles stuck to the bare skin of his chest, making him wish he was wearing a shirt. Standing, Derrick glanced back at Kyle with a cocky smirk on his face. “Come on Kyle, that pass was something that JC would throw.”

As Derrick began to make his way back to the group, he saw John sitting in the lifeguard chair, not ten feet away from where Derrick had made the catch. That meant that there was no way that John hadn’t heard what Derrick had said. The wide out frowned as he heard Matt talking about ******** someone’s life up. Did these two really have nothing better to do? Deciding to not make a comment in their direction, Derrick simply threw the ball to Chili as he walked back towards the group. On his way, Derrick stopped walking when he reached where Roary, Roxy, Sloane, Skye and Taylor were all lying in the sun. “Sup ladies,” Derrick said with a small smile on his face. “I just thought that I’d tell you that next Saturday there is going to be another party at the lake house for my birthday. It’s going to be a blast and all of you should come out.”

Yeah, Derrick was already having another party. The reason? One: it was his birthday. Two: John had sent out facebook invitations yesterday for a party at his place to everyone at the school except for Derrick. It was obvious that the guy was trying to ******** with one of the biggest days of the summer. So, Derrick was going to throw a party with the basic assumption that everyone would bail on the manipulative quarterback to hang with Derrick on his birthday. I mean, lets be serious, who would pick that douche over the essential alpha dog of the school? Derrick assumed that there would only be a select few people at John’s party, primarily John, Matt, and Riley: all of whom were pissed at him for different reasons. After inviting the girls to his party, Derrick sent the five of them his trademark smile before walking away. Rejoining the group of guys, Derrick caught the ball as Chili threw it to him.

“Alright, so I’m throwing a birthday party on Saturday at the lake house” Derrick said with a small smile on his face. “I’m thinking of making it a toga party or some s**t. Can you guys think of a non-gay theme party that we can do?” Derrick asked, lateraling the ball to Kyle. He wanted to make his birthday party extra cool. He already had a live band from the school lined up to play for a while and he had gotten his parents to order a few kegs. He just needed to organize a few more things before making the facebook event, namely the theme of the party. He knew Chili would probably make fun of him. He always hated on theme parties. “Oh, and I’m challenging your title as shot king Saturday,” Derrick said with a confident smirk, glancing at Chili to see how he would react. “I want to get completely s**t faced and I figure going toe to toe with the shot king is a good way to do that. Besides, it will draw a crowd.”

                          There were so many people.

Kyle felt a familiar lump rise up in the back of his throat, swallowing hard and allowing his eyes to float around the beach. All these people multiplied Kyle's already awkward personality by tenfold with each passing second. And it seemed as if everyone from the party was here. That just sucked. Lately, there had been various rumors about Roary and him, which were not true, but people kept talking despite each of their protests of what actually did happen. There were ridiculous rumors ranging from them hooking up right there to instead of Cory halting whatever would have happened, she decided to jump right on in and that was the reason why Theo was so pissed off and decided to take out his anger out on Matt. One would think that Kyle would have gotten used to people talking about him throughout the course of the year because let's face it, being an outstanding athlete and popular on the field was transfered off the field (How? He didn't know. s**t, he wouldn't be friends with him if he was in someone else's shoes.), leading people to start rumors and create pointless drama. But he still hated being talked about, especially in a negative context, like anyone else. While supposedly hooking up with one of the hottest girls in the school was technically not negative and he had gotten quite a bit of high fives and jeers from guys that wanted to "be in his shoes," it ended up hurting her image (Sort of. Most girls wanted to have a chance to get into the starting quarterback's pants.), leading her to be viewed as more of a slut than before because people thought she had gotten three guys in one night. Roary and Kyle weren't technically friends, but he didn't want her to get even more hurt than she already was. He couldn't stand that look of shear pain etched all over her face, it floored him and he would hate to be one of the contributing factors to her agony.

Abruptly taken away from his thoughts by the sound of Derrick's voice, talking to Tyler about his latest hook - up. Offering a small grin at his comment about Chili sprouting a vag. “And you." Kyle turned his attention of the football in Derrick's hands to his face as he was being addressed. "I heard that you almost hooked up with Roary man." A look of shock overtook the quarterback's face (though he had grown more and more accustomed to rumors of his hook - up). "What? No! I didn't almost hook up with her!" Kyle protested quickly, they weren't going to hook up. At the most they would have had a make out session, but even that was a stretch. Maybe. He didn't know. "So, you went all the way with her? Congrats dude!" Turning his head towards the tight end who had just spoken up and somehow twisted Kyle's words (Chili was good at that) to make it seem like he had hooked up with the head cheerleader, he couldn't help but let an amused smile on his face for a brief second. "No, nothing happened. She's not the type of girl who hooks up with random guys at parties. She has class." He said trying to defend his sort of friend, but that was to no avail, instead he had gotten Tyler to start laughing at him. Heaving a sigh and allowing a smile back on his face, rolling his eyes at the dude. At least he was a happy guy, his mood at changed dramatically (in a positive way) since the party. As Derrick's voice filled his eyes again, he turned his head back towards the wide out. "Dude, have you even gotten laid since you’ve been here. Please tell me you’re not a virgin. Virgins are not allowed to be around me.”

Way to make things incredibly awkward. Although it was evident that he was joking, it was still sort of embarrassing that he was the only guy on the football team that hadn't gotten laid the entire year. Feeling his entire body stiffen and his stomach turn over uncomfortably, what was he supposed to say to that? "Uh..." Well, he thought Derrick knew the answer to his first question. No, he hadn't gotten laid, but he thought he did a pretty good job portraying the type of guy that wanted to wait until in a safe, secure relationship before having sex and regarding it as something special. Which he had now, but before he didn't. Was he supposed to lie? Yeah, that sounded good. "Yeah, I am. I'm just waiting for the right girl, you know? I just want one solid girl that I can depend on, that'll be there for me, and someone that I can give my heart to. That type of thing. I'm not really a random - hook - up - at - party - with - a - girl - I - barely - know type of guy, I want my first to be meaningful and with a girl that I love." He thought that sort of justified his stance, while that had slowly become his view now - a - days, he was the complete opposite before. In fact, he had lost his virginity his freshman year, once he attained the starting position from a senior (The guy was pissed off because a freshman took his spot, but Kyle earned it, sports seemed like it was the only thing he could do right, he was the only freshman starter on the team.), the former quarterback threw a party because he was the Derrick of the town, and Kyle ended up sleeping with his girlfriend (The homecoming queen and captain of the girls lax and dance teams) and his ex girlfriend (the prom queen and head cheerleader) that he was apparently in love with (Sounding familiar, anyone? Ah, irony.) in his bed. Needless to say they had gotten into an altercation afterwards while looking for his girlfriend, with Kyle dominating in an epic street fight (They were from Jersey, what do you expect?).

But he wasn't going to tell Derrick and Chili that.

They were either worship him as a God -- especially if he showed them pictures of the girls and told them the true story behind the scratches on his back, still evident on his back, even if a little faded, he had many people ask about it, he lied and mumbled something about a lax accident -- or it would taint their image of him in their minds forever. Most likely it would be the prior, but that was the old Kyle, not the reformed, good guy that didn't need to drink, didn't get in fights, didn't steal other guy's girls, and liked meaningful sex as opposed to random one night stands with a new girl each night. He had genuinely changed, for the better, while he had always been awkward to some degree (Alcohol had taken care of that problem easily), he didn't mind being everybody's b***h best friend, he was happy to help. Since it really did not look like he was going to be in a relationship anytime soon -- no girl would ever think of him as more than a doormat -- he would probably put off sex for another year. But he had been told that he was a natural at it, even when he lost his virginity apparently he was better than most of the guys that each of the girls had sex with. It was a compliment, really. He was a football player so his endurance wouldn't deteriorate anytime soon, so he wasn't worried about being bad in the sack. Sex wasn't the number one thing in his mind, he would much rather be in a comfortable relationship and if he happened to get laid that would be great too. Right now, he just wanted to find the right girl that he could give his heart to and love unconditionally.

What a tool, right? Kyle didn't dare say that outloud to either of his friends who were undoubtedly the two biggest manwhores in Concord (not that it was a bad thing), they would probably just laugh it off then start talking about the latest party Derrick was throwing or football. Football was a nice subject to discuss, it was always the safest option whenever Kyle wanted to change the topic. And Kyle's mood changed from uncomfortable to semi - happy, as soon as he felt the football in his hands, a smile appeared on his face. Still, he felt sort of unsettled with all the people around. Anyone could be `i know and anyone could be ******** with him, since they could clearly see his surroundings, they could easily manipulate Kyle into being their little puppet. Suddenly realizing that, he could feel his body stiffen up once again, letting out a small groan and looking around for anyone with a cell phone right now. Not like it would help, it had just sort of became a reaction when he was out in public in hopes of finding this person. Taking out his phone, he briefly looked through his recent texts from the guy, before turning his attention back to the wide out who had taken off and was making his cut. Cocking his arm back, he launched the ball, and it went a few feet in front of the wide receiver, nothing too major, it was still catchable. "Sorry, dude! I got, uh...distracted! I'll make the next one better, I promise!" Allowing a small smirk to form on his face at Derrick's comment and how the receiver went over to the group of hot girls soaking up some sun.

Turning his attention back to Chili who had the ball, lifting his right hand up to signal that he wanted it, catching the ball with ease. "Deep out." Deep out's were one of his favorite patterns, most high school teams didn't run it unless they had an accurate, sharp - shooter quarterback, they mainly ran posts, slants, streaks, etc. While they helped and gained the respect of coaches if executed properly, deep out's made teams fear the Cougars because no high school cornerback knew how to cover it and didn't expect it due to it's lack of popularity. With a nod, Tyler sprinted off, once he made his cut to the outside, Kyle released the ball, taking in account his speed reduction due to the sand, with it landing over the tight end's outside shoulder. "Yeah, baby!" Kyle exclaimed with glee, as he high fived Tyler on his way back. Kyle loved how football could put his mind to ease and just let him relax, even if it was only for a moment, it was better than anything someone could snort, shoot up, or inject, the high that he got from playing football was indescribable. If all else failed and he had nothing else in the world, he would be fine as long as he could play some ball. Soon enough, he was taken away from his thoughts and brought back to reality, grinning once he heard Derrick mention something about a theme for his party. "Toga! Toga! Toga!" He chanted like a couple of frat guys prepping for a toga party. "Sorry, someone had to do it."

                          ooc; lameeeee post

We were the BEAUTIFUL, DIRTY, RICH couple,
& then I showed him my POKER FACE during our LOVEGAME
& now I`m his PAPARAZZI

                                              Last night was wild.

No, last night was beyond wild. Who ever thought Roxy would hook up with Tyler – speechless – yes, Skye was. And, on top of that Roary got what she deserved. So, to add insult to injury Skye sent Roary a text about it, yes Skye was that evil and she pretty much didn’t care. The only thing was Skye wasn’t prepared for the text back. She was shock, but she knew that Roary was hurt and that’s all that matter, because Roary needed to feel the pain. Skye wasn’t concern about the text, because Matt was the last thing from her mind, and she broke up with Matt and he was the one that went straight for the slut – Riley. It wasn’t her fault that Matt was feeling someone who basically slept with the whole football team, besides her brother. If that’s what Matt wanted he could have it, and when his heart gets broken then it was all on him. Yea, Skye still cared for Matt, however after last night she didn’t know. She thought Matt and she were friends, but she was proven different. Matt really hurt her feelings, and not that many people could hurt her “feelings”, but Matt did and only because she still had feelings for him ‘that’s what you get for having feelings for people’ Skye thought as she came out her bathroom.

Skye dried her body off and threw the towel in the hamper. She needed to get ready; she was heading to the beach with the Roxy and Sloane. It should be fun, a day on the beach, with the girls, and drama free day would be wonderful. Skye only hope for the best, really what more could you do? The young girl walked into her closet and pulled out what she was going to wear today. It wasn’t hard a bathing suit and a cover up, that’s all. Skye placed on her bathing suit and then the cover up. She was ready to go; she didn’t need to put on makeup or anything. She was going natural today. Skye pulled out her phone and decided to text Sloane. After reading over the text she looked and press send. Skye got ready to hit send, but she changed her mind, and cancel. Only because she remembered that Sloane was at her house now. Last night Skye retired at Sloane house only to get dropped off with Sloane this morning by Sloane mom, because Sloane doesn’t have a license, poor freshmen. Now where was Sloane? Skye couldn’t remember because she been in the bathroom forever and a day, that’s why Skye told Sloane make herself at home, because it was going to be a while. Skye walked downstairs to see her brother bothering Sloane; he was in the 8th grade, so he thought he could get any girl he wanted. “So, Sloane when are you and I going to get together and make it happened? I know you’re feeling me.” Skye brother toyed with Sloane.

p***k! Get away, Sloane’s not buying anything you’re trying to sell. She’s in high school now, that means 10th and up, we don’t downgrade, more like upgrade.” Skye told her brother, as she slapped him upside the head. Little brothers were a trip. “You ready Barbie?” Skye asked. Yea, she called Sloane Barbie, because Sloane looked like one. Not Barbie herself, but her friend that didn’t get that much attention. “Lets go, there are boys there waiting to see all of this.” Skye joked, while she grabbed her keys and headed out to her car. “Call me Sloane, or just stop by.” Jason said, as he blew her a kiss. Skye got in her car and waited for Sloane, as she waited she pulled out her phone and sent Roxy a text. After hitting send she looked and started to think if she should text Matt and apologize.

                                                Sloane & I
are on our way, find a good spot, &
                                                stop reading, because that’s what
you’re probably doing. ha. love ya.
                                                -Skye

Skye wanted to apologize to Matt, because they way she handle the situation wasn’t the right way. So, if she apologized maybe they could work things out, but she didn’t know, because Matt just had a crappy night all together. It was a shame, because Theo whooped the mess out of Matt. Skye wanted to help, but she was still mad at Matt, so she didn’t care. At the moment she probably felt like he deserved it and at the moment he probably did, but now that it was over he didn’t. Skye came out of her trance once Sloane got in the car. “I think I’m going to apologize to Matt, but I don’t know. I did handle things the wrong way, but for some reason it actually hurt me, and I usually don’t let things like that get to me, so it must mean I care right?” Skye asked. Skye was a b***h and she tell you that she was, and she rarely showed people her feelings, but she had a soft spot for Matt and at the party she probably blew her cover. Skye took a deep breath and formulated a text while she pulled out her driveway and headed to the beach. “Before you say anything, I’m a pro. I can drive and text at the same time,” she joked, as she kept typing her text and singing along with the song. Skye was driving with her knees – she was a pro. After reading the text she pressed send and it was a done deal. “Sent the message to him and if this blows up in my face I’m going to be a piss b***h.” Skye expressed, as she push the petal to the metal.

                                                I’m sorry.
i shouldn’t have acted the way i acted
last night, when i knew you look bummed out.
I usually don’t care what people think about me,
but I kind of have a soft spot for you and it hurt
me that you said that, so i’m saying i’m sorry &
hope we can be friends again…talk to you later
                                                -Skye

She was surprised she didn’t get a ticket, but Skye pulled up to the beach and put her car in park. “Barbie, today is going to be a good day,” she said, as she flip her hair and laughed. Skye walked on the beach and saw everyone. “Oh, this must be part two of Derrick party.” Skye said, as she spotted Roxy and walked over. “Hey b***h! We’re here!” Skye slightly screamed in Roxy ear. Skye looked over and saw that new girl (new to Skye). “Taylor? Well, nice to meet you I’m Skye.” She spoke to the girl as she laid her towel down and lay of it and started to soak up the sun. Skye looked over at Roxy and gave her a smile. “So, Roxanne…Do you have feelings for Tyler?” Skye asked, as she looked over at the boy who was throwing the ball around with Derrick and Kyle. Skye looked around and out the corner of her eye she saw Matt, he heart stopped for a little. Skye forgot that Matt was a lifeguard and then she realized something was off with him. He didn’t look the same – he looked like s**t – and he normally didn’t. Skye kept looking, but lost all concentration when she heard an annoying voice. Skye turned around and saw Roary! Who the hell told her that she could come and lay next to them? What the ********? Skye shook her head and just looked, she just wanted to slap Roary – better yet punch her.

Skye let out a sigh, she wasn’t going to let Roary get to her, but Roary was playing little games, and if she wanted to play games, Skye was going to play, but she was playing to win. “Roary, no one really cares where you lay. It’s a beach.” She wasn’t trying to be smart, but it came out that way. Skye laid back to enjoy the sun, but Derrick came over talking about a birthday bash – a toga birthday bash. Skye was in there, but then she remembered that John sent her an invited to his party or something like that. “Did anyone else get a invite to John thing, on the same date?” Skye asked, as she saw Roary get up Skye just looked at Roxy and then Sloane, since she was in between the two. “Sloane watch out, bitches like her love to play games.” Skye said, as she got up and walked over to Derrick and them throwing the ball. “Give me the ball. I’m going to show you how a pro throws a ball.” Skye said, as she told Derrick, Tyler, and Kyle to go long. She didn’t know who she was going to throw it to, but she was going to throw it. Skye drew back and launch the football in the air, it had some good distance on it, Skye was a good football thrower, she had an arm on her, and Derrick caught the ball. “Derrick throw it back, I’m going to get one last throw in.” Skye said, as Derrick threw it back and she caught the ball. Skye launch the ball again. “Damn, I should be on the football team.” Skye joke with Derrick and them.

Roxanne sighed as she got her phone out, sure enough it was a text from her best friend

                              Sloane & I
are on our way, find a good spot, &
                              stop reading, because that’s what

                              -Skye

Laughing, Roxanne ended that message, knowing she would see her best friend in a few. She had made sure there were extra space between her and the other girls, she had to save room for her best friends/ She sighed as she pushed her sunglasses more up on her nose, this is what she lived for. The beach was where she spent most of her time, she would’ve been a lifeguard, like she was last year, but she got a job indoors this time so she could actually study on her off time. She sighed as she pushed her long hair from her face, and then got up. She had to do something, but then nearly jumped out of her skin when Skye screamed in her ear. Smiling, she went and hugged her best friend, and knew most men would’ve melted right there. She giggled as a few teenage boys basically fall over themselves when the two hot girls hugged.

She smiled as she pulled back, her swimsuit riding low on her hips, revealing her new tattoo, and her tanned skin, with no tan lines. She smiled as she went over and turned on the large boombox she had brought. She started to sway her hips, as she tossed her hat onto the chair that was under the large umbrella she had set up. She then pulled her hair into a ponytail, and turned to talk to skye, but the girl was already up and at them. Laughing, she watched her friend toss the pigskin back towards Derrick, and she took a drink of water. Stretching, she started to get her muscles loose so she could start to play with her friends.

She looked up at Kyle as he came over to them. She smiled and nodded, ”Hell yea, Toga’s are hot.” she giggled as she winked at him. She pushed her hair from her neck and looked around. She giggled as she finally straightened up, and then looked around the beach. It was a beautiful day. Smiling, she made sure her swimsuit would be on secure. She didn’t want the world to be flashed. Well, not that she hadn’t done it before. She had done it before once at a party, but that was before her new additions. She smiled as she looked around, and waited for the right moment. She saw the ball arching towards Skye, and with that she tossed her sunglasses to the chair and then tackled her friend to the ground. She made sure that it wasn’t too hard, but enough to get her to the ground.

She saw that the ball had been thrown back. She giggled as she looked at her friend, she hadn’t felt this good in awhile. ”Sorry got a little excited.” she said as she got onto her hands and knees and looked down at her friend. She offered her a hand up as she got up and brushed the sand from her body. That was what sucked about being in the damn sand. Sand in places not wanted. She smiled as she turned to the guys and walked over to them, her long legs getting her there I no time, ”I can’t let Skye show me up.” she said as she winked at them. She gently took the ball from Derrick, and then whistled through her teeth at Skye, ”Coming at ya!” she called out as she made sure her fingers were lined with the seam, and let it rip. She had a decent throw, it had a good spiral, and she learned from her father and uncles during thanksgiving. She smiled as she let skye catch it, and she waited next to the guys. She winked at Tyler and then turned to Derrick, ”I forgot its going to be your birthday derrick.” she said as she reached over and slapped his butt lightly, ”More for you later.” she laughed as she turned and jogged back over to Skye, ”How bout we show these boys what cheerleaders can do.” she said laughing.
