I hope you are pleased to read this letter as I was to write it. On behalf of George E. Matthews University, located in the sunny Miami, Florida, I am very pleased to announce your acceptance of your application to our university! After carefully reviewing your transcripts and test scores, we feel that your academic and extra-curricular involvements will greatly add to our wonderful campus. Congratulations and welcome to G.E.M. University for the 2014-2015 school year!

Each year, numerous amounts of students apply to our prestigious university, but only a small amount are able to get accepted. Our students enroll to our schools in hopes to become lawyers, doctors, educators, politicians, authors, artists, and musicians, just to name a few of their (and possibly your's also) chosen career paths. Our goal is to provide you with the best education the nation can provide while also challenging involve yourself with school, community, and national affairs. We think that you are a perfect match for our school.

And well, let's get something straight. We throw the wildest parties. Sure, you can read the previous two paragraphs and say, 'Wait, what just happened?' and if you did do that, you're a dumbass. But really, a school located in Miami, Florida to not be a party? You've got to be kidding me. Our parties are out of this world, like our test scores. And there's numerous things to do here, besides go to class and study like a little b***h. You can stop by Greek Row and watch either walk of shames or just watch a bunch of people clean their house for their party tonight. You can go to the dining hall and pretty much eat whatever the hell you want. If you're a controlling freak, I guess you can join the student government. And for the things outside the school? The world is your oyster. Or something like that. The beaches, the clubs, the restaurants, the tanned skin, and the surfing. Pure. Heaven.

Anyway, you may reserve your place for the 2014-2015 school year by submitting your Intent of Enrollment along with the $300 enrollment deposit for tuition, room, board, and yadda yadda. We do ask for you to respond to this letter as soon as possible.

Best wishes to you as you continue to make plans for your future. The decisions ahead of you will be challenging but the staff at George E. Matthews University are ready to help you and support you in your new chapter of life.

CAMPUS RULES.

(♞) GENERAL.
❝ okay, so this roleplay is going to be
about, well, college. necessarily doesn't
have to be about the stresses of college,
but it can be the college that everyone's
dreamed of--parties, fun times, and more
parties. so yeah, hook ups will happen,
destruction of school property, fights, &
romance. but how about let's keep it about
pg-16. yeah...or maybe pg-17. plotting in
the ooc thread is a must, too!

(♞) CHARACTERS
❝ there is a list of possible characters in
the recruitment/applications thread. that
is also where you can apply. you'll see more
about reservation in the next rule. these
characters aren't really pre-made, but there's
a certain spot they have to fill. but once you
are accepted, you can tweak them a little bit.

(♞) RESERVATIONS
❝ to reserve, you must fill out the reservation
code and post it in the applications page, which
will be found in the first post. i can be a bit picky
when it comes to face claims, so please don't get
offended if i ask you to change it. i'll feel really
bad about it, just know! when you are accepted,
you can start on your profile thread, but it must
include a small biography, personality, a list of
things your characters are involved in, and a
small relationship blurb. after you are done, send
me the link and i'll put in on the characters' post.

❝ in the reservation code, you will be asked to
send in a link to your samples. posts for the
thread should be at least 5-6 paragraphs, but
i definitely understand writer's block and having
to rush to finish a post. as long as it doesn't
happen too often, i'm definitely fine with it.
post layouts should be neat and creative, but
i've never been too picky about them.
