xxxxxxxxxhere comes the bride all dressed in white.

xxxxxxxxxxxI'M MRS. LIFESTYLES OF THE RICH AND FAMOUS.

Her body was pressed up lightly against his. She felt her whole body heat up, as she looked up into his dazzling eyes. She hated herself for doing this. She hated him for putting that affect on her, he seemed to make her want to crazy. They were meant for each other. The way they just kept on coming back together somehow. The always found there way back to each other, it was like she needed him after that night in high school, he'd become part of her. She hated to actually admit anything of the sort. She wanted to tell the world that she hated him but the truth was she loved him. She had since way back when and in the position the two were in right now it was obvious that she still did. And no matter how big of bad boy Ben Luthor was he seemed to feel the same way.

She would have laughed at his reaction if this had been a normal encounter with him. His face was priceless, like perhaps what Blair had said had maybe affected him somehow. Like the child inside of her maybe actually meant something to the heartless Ben Luthor. Had she hit a soft spot? She tapped her foot nervously, awaiting his reply. Blair knew what he would say. She wanted to heart the words. "No, he doesn't," the three words slipped out. Blair cocked her head to the side, looking at him trying her best not to smile. She was speechless. In a state of shock. She wanted something more. Perhaps another three word phrase but this was good enough. His words seemed to echo inside of her head. She was carrying his baby. She was marrying someone else. She was going back to him time by time when she was supposed to be with someone else. Swallowing nervously as his hand met her face wiping away the tears from her face. His hand felt warm, familiar.

The next move of his came clearly as a shock to Blair. His lips came towards hers, as they pressed together. Her mind drifted off to the first time she'd lost her virginity to him, then the night they'd had in LA and now the kiss. Pulling away softly, Blair buried her head in his chest. "What am I going to do Ben?" Looking up at him her head still placed on his chest.

Count on Blair's cellphone to ruin the moment.

She looked down at the ringing phone groaning. Refusing to come out Ben's arms, Blair pulled out her cellphone. Looking at the name on the screen, guilt shot through her body. Still in his arms, Blair hit reply her first message to Nick.

                            nick,

                            i'm sorry.
i had some trouble this morning with a few things.
i'll be there in five minutes.
btw - i have to talk to you.

                            ily.

                            xoxo
                            blair

She looked up at Ben, a blank expression on her face. She didn't care if he saw what she wrote. No matter who it was that she was marrying from today onward Benjamin Alex Luthor would always be a part of her life.

How was he supposed to know what she was supposed to do? The fact of the matter was that she was theoretically in love with Nick and had dragged everyone out to rainy London for her wedding. And if she went through with it and lied about the father of the baby, that kid was going to have a damn good life. "Do you want to marry Nick?" he asked her. But before she could get out an answer, good or bad, her phone went off again. And speak of the devil...peering down at her screen, he read the message she was sending to her fiance. Well...that answered a few things, didn't it? Unable to stand there, her in his arms anymore out of just fear of being caught and getting the living s**t beat out of him by Nate and Nick, who would both probably jump at the chance to kick his a**, Ben untangled himself from Blairs grasp and stepped a few feet back, leaning against the wall so that if her darling fiance came looking for her, he wouldn't have any physical evidence as to suspect that the two were doing anything wrong. Which, coincidentally, they were.

He folded his arms over his chest, watching Blair carefully. What the hell was she going to do? The fate of his future and apparently, the fate of his unborn child, lay in her hands. She held all the power, just the way she liked it. He glanced down the hall in an almost nervous manner, fearing someone was going to overhear their conversation. "If you want to marry Nick, then..." the words got caught in his throat. He didn't know what he was going to say. "If you want me to, I'll step aside and let you..." he tried restating the phrase, but it still seemed wrong, and he couldn't bring himself to finish the sentence. "If you want me to, then I'll let him..." okay, now he was just sounding like a blubbering idiot.

Part of his mind was already whirring and scheming about how to use this to his advantage, to dangle the information over Blair's head like he liked to do, just to use her and get her to keep coming back to him, time and time again. But somehow, that plotting just didn't seem right. He couldn't do that anymore...it was time he matured, right? Started acting like...God, like a ******** parent. He wasn't ready to be a father. That was the fact of the matter. He was irresponsible and liked to drink and smoke and go out to nightclubs, bring home different girls, date famous singers with notorious anger problems. He didn't sing lullabies or know how properly heat up milk or test the temperature of bath water. He didn't know how to do any of that s**t. He was immature, stupid, unprepared emotionally.

                                        But Nick probably wasn't.

"What are you going to tell him?" he asked finally. Thank you God, a coherent sentence. Would she just tell him she was pregnant, he would naturally assume that it was his and she could always argue the fact later that he never asked who the father was, and she just let him fill in the blanks himself. If she wanted to marry him, then she would probably do that. Maybe it would be for the best. Maybe. He stared at her, not daring to look away, waiting for an answer, for her final decision in the manner. He wouldn't argue or try to fight her, for the first (and probably last) time in his life. He would just let her be. Let her choose her own path instead of manipulating her down another or forcing her off the one she was already on.

Crossing her arms over her chest rather uncomfortably after Ben had released her. Afraid to look him straight in the eyes, Blair glanced down at her the glittering rock on her finger, twirling it around her finger as if she was un- sure about it belonging their on her hand. She hadn't really given this marriage a thought had she. She'd always thought of Nick as the love her life, after Nate, Ben had always been merely an obstacle that kept getting in her way. She looked up upon hearing his hushed voice. "That's the thing Ben, I don't what I want to do anymore." Still avoiding his glance, Blair looked straight up ahead of her into the distance. The hallway remained empty, it was just the two of them. Like always, it had always been the two of them. Alone. Only those moments had never been so stressful. "And its just like you said, its you baby I'm carrying..." she let out a deep sigh. Listening to his words they struck her with some kind of a pain. "No...I want you..." she whispered out. He probably hadn't even heard the words. Hopefully he hadn't. She must have been crazy picking Ben over Nick.

"I'm going to tell him, I don't want you to get hurt..." She paused for a second searching for the right words. Then they finally got to her. She'd take the blame, after all she'd always had the decision of throwing Ben away, but she couldn't do it. She could and she never would. "I'll take whatever they say about me about you...about us." She thought of it. Could Ben and her ever be Ben-and-Blair. Could they ever stay together, when what she wanted out of life was love from a man to last for her life and what he wanted were all fun and games. They were two opposites, while Nick and her were a match made in heaven.

Taking a step closer to Ben, Blair felt tears roll down her cheeks once again."I'm going tell him the truth." Her hands dropped to her sides. "I'm sick of lying, I'm sick and tired of breaking hearts and I'm sick and tired of being called a slut Ben." She looked at him, a frown forming on her face, stepping in closer Blair leaned in to give him a small peck on the lips but it ended up being just a little more. Pulling away, she didn't bother looking at him but instead turned around slowly moving along the floor. Her insides felt like they were on fire, all of a sudden she had a tremendous headache. Her throat feeling as if though it was on fire. She was going to walk into that rehearsal and tell him the truth and nothing but the truth.

A few minutes, later Blair was in front of the elegant Church. She had goosebumps on her arms and didn't look exactly in the best shape. Her eye lids looked a little heavy and she herself looked pretty worn out. She'd thrown up viciously before coming here. Pushing open the huge doors to the church. Blair stopped in her tracks to see Nick standing uncomfortably, looking down at his watch. Nate standing close by, tapping his foot impatiently. Alexa sitting on a bench looking rather impatient. Then she saw Jez and Charlie with Elizabeth. Standing like happy family. She felt a smile come across her face. It made her think of her own child. The child she was going to have. She wanted to raise it exactly like Jez had raised Elizabeth. She wanted to be the perfect mother and best wife she could possibly be. To change into that, she'd really have to start changing her ways. Starting today. She had to tell Nick. She couldn't hide it forever. The truth always seemed to come out when it involved Blair.

Pamela Kingsley's silky curls bounced rhythmically with each of her high heel-exaggerated steps. Every inch closer to the huge church felt like another sharp object in her heart. How could her man be getting married to some American whore? Pammy had practically offered up her everything to him, and he never noticed. Not once. Maybe now, before he gave his own freedom away, she'd get a chance to at least tell him. Sure, he may be engaged, but that meant absolutely nothing legally. Not until he said those vows and signed those pesky papers. Pammy was hoping that maybe he'd felt the same all those years; guys didn't notice when girls made the moves on them, right? Obviously not, when the kind of obliviousness that he'd adopted was far from fake. For over twenty years, Nick had genuinely been unaware of her feelings.

                  Not for much longer.

Pammy finished her lonely walk through the church's cracked, brick path; ascending the stairs up into the large chapel. People were everywhere, all smiling. Happy that this terrible match was going to commit to each other for the rest of eternity. Hah! That was a ridiculous notion; Blair had probably cheated on him more than anyone could count on their two hands. Nick was a very trusting guy; he probably hadn't even seen it. The amount of scandal and gossip in the American tabloids couldn't all be wrong. "Hello. Hello." She said, beaming too as she slipped through the countless bodies of Nick's wedding party. The witnesses of this 'holy' ceremony. None of them were him, though; she wanted the man himself. The tall, gorgeous, sweet man that she hadn't spoken to in person for over a year, when he announced the engagement to his family, and her own. "Mrs. Walsh!" She remarked dazzlingly when she spotted Nick's mother.

The older woman beamed at Pammy, rushing to hold her in a friendly embrace (well, actually, it was just the clamping of her arms, but, that was affection in England). "Pamela, darling, how are you? It has been too long, are your family coming?" She asked, that fluid, British accent of hers far more traditional than Pammy's rather americanised one. "Oh, I'm fine, and they are well on their way. But, I was actually wondering where Nick was? I'd love to see him again before we got to the customs?" She told her, and Nick's mother turned, pointing towards her son (who was standing beside a handsome man, but inferiorly so). "Thankyou, Mrs. Walsh. When my parents arrive, we must catch up." She said, giving her one more smile before walking towards the man himself. Her heart was racing, so much so that she could barely breathe, barely walk. But, Pammy made it, her nostalgic grin wide while she greeted her old friend. "Nick!" She exclaimed brightly, rushing to hug him as casually as possible.

He looked worried, but Pammy couldn't wait any longer. "Hi, I'm Pammy." She said to the guy beside him, but quickly returned her attention to the Duke. "Nick, I wonder if we could possibly go somewhere a little quieter? I need to talk to you about something; catch up and all that?" Pammy said, hoping quickly that he'd accept. So far, she hadn't given him any reason to be suspicious.

hello world, i'm your wild girl

×IT'S JUST ANOTHER WEDDING, RIGHT? ×

×YOUR UNKNOWN GROOMSMAN×

It was times like these Sam knew he lost his life to a marriage with a kid. He barely had an outside life. Only when he could sneak away from it. It was all in lies with that, though. Going to to the bar instead of class. Working out and getting ready for next season's tryouts with his other buddies. These next couple days he had an excuse to live life to the fullest, didn't he? An old friend getting married. His wife not coming to the wedding at all.
As he looked around, he saw Nick’s mother, but didn’t pay too much attention to her. Nick’s voice was what got his attention. The nervousness in his voice was he spoke for one thing. He needed some words of encouragement. Sam’s been through the whole wedding thing and knew he had to make the reservations like an hour later when he told his wife he made them. Okay sometimes that plan did get messed up, but he never lost their table.
“Dude! Calm down.” He said as he looked at his old friend. You’re going to have to wait on her your whole life, seriously.” He said and patted him on the back as he looked back into the crowd. “You’re going to be waiting a lot in the next couple days. That’s why we have the party.” He said, since someone told him that. Hell if he could remember who. He looked back towards the church’s door. Some people where even still arriving. No big deal, but of course he didn’t know these people.

His eyes started to wonder around the church, it was no big deal. His mother dragged him here like a million times throughout his childhood and so did his grandmother when she was alive. His wondering though was lost when he heard a female voice. He turned his head and his eyes widen. Oh the girls here were hot and he would give that that. He smirked. “I’m Sam. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Pammy!” He said with a heavy British accent, of course and some manners. He left his hand, the one without the ring for her to shake. Maybe he was going a little bit crazy, but he missed having a non-marriage relationship, or one without a kid, probably. Right now his wife and him where caught up and two different lives. She was off taking care of Jackson well he was paying the bills. This was when he saw his mistakes of chasing a careless dream, but this didn’t stop him.

He looked back at Nick to see if he was going to go talk to the girl. He had his doubts about it. Since how nervous this he looked about this whole thing. He could be seriously wrong about it.

Ben just kind of awkwardly nodded his head as Blair spoke - he had already decided he wasn't going to fight her on this, even though her decision pretty much guaranteed him a ticket back home and a body cast to make the ride back just so comfortable. Didn't she realize that whatever she did, he would get hurt? That even if she had said that she wanted him - which Ben wasn't even completely sure she had said, and he might have been imagining the entire phrase out of some desperate hope that they had a shot in hell - she would still be telling her fiancee that their future life was over and Ben was to blame. He felt almost guilty, letting her do this - he couldn't offer her the life that she wanted. He would never feel right about it. He wasn't a commitment person. Wait - he was getting ahead of himself. She hadn't even said she was going to call off the wedding. She had just said she would tell him the truth. If Nick was the saint everyone made him out to be, then he would look past Blair's indiscretion, pass it off as her last (which, knowing Ben and Blair's history, it probably wasn't), and go through with the entire thing.

But before he had any more time to think about the situation, Blair had kissed him again, and it was all he could do to keep himself from sweeping her up in his arms and just taking her to one of the many empty rooms...old habits die hard. "Do whatever you need to do, Blair," he said as she turned away. This must certainly be a first - Blair Andrews, offering up the truth without first lying and scheming and twisting the situation of her control. He knew he should probably follow, he should support her...but he couldn't. Something held him back, made him linger in the empty hallway with the rest of their nonexistent relationship. She had been so vague, so unclear...was she calling it off or no? He had never told her to, in fact, he had told her that if she wanted to go through with it, he'd step aside, once and for all. Lie. Blair could do what she wanted. As far as Ben was concerned, she was going to tell Nick the truth, and go through with the wedding as planned. And considering his fear of any commitment longer then six months, that was probably a good choice for her and the baby.

                                        The baby.

God, that was a scary thought.

Faced with a sudden need to distract himself, he pulled out his phone to text Lourdes. She was probably starting to wonder where he was by now, and Blair would be showing up at the church soon, which meant that he either needed to get over there to take whatever punishment was coming his way, or start running in the other direction.

sorry baby, I'm being a terrible date.
I'll make it up to you later tonight...
hope that all this wedding s**t and drama isn't boring you too much.
                                            I'll be back soon.
                                            -ben

Oh. If she only knew what drama was coming her way in the form of Blair, then she would know that she was in for some damn good entertainment. Some damn good, life threatening, trust destroying, all-too-familiar Dalton entertainment.

                                        ooc: lame post, sorry.

What was -- oh. Oh. Dexter. s**t.

What vague memories Nate had of Dexter were none too flattering. He recalled high school, Dexter getting high at parties and making an a** of himself, smoking outside school and getting detention for it, and pretty much being an incoherent SOB for four solid years. Nate hadn't talked to him since then, and really, had no desire to. In fact, he'd all but forgotten that the druggie even existed, although all these years later he still looked (and smelled) the same : red - rimmed eyes and cigarette smoke to boot. "I've been well." Nate stuck out a hand for his usual sturdy handshake, but retracted it as soon as he could and pushed it back into his pocket to fiddle with his cell phone. "How about you?" It was at times like these that he felt a little too polite for his own good.

Jezzabel (s**t, it had been ages since he'd seen her) arrived, little family in tow, and Nate gave the whole lot a quick nod and a flash of a smile before turning back towards Nick, who looked about as ******** nervous as a guy could be. He felt a flash of sympathy. He knew only too well what it felt like to be that messed up over Blair and to have his heart trashed by her. Raising a hand to clap his friend on the back, he gave him a brief, rough shake that was his awkward way of expressing his sympathies. "Sure she'll be here, dude. You know how girls are. I can't get Bella to get her a** out the door half of the time."

Comparing Bella to Blair left a bitter taste in his mouth.

                                        bella,
looks like the bride is a no - show. im not surprised.
i like the thought of waiting on me in bed. its taking everything i have not to be up there with you, babe.
you can always come down here if you get bored. i know you want to see the bride just as much as i do.
behave yourself if you do. or not.
                                        - nate

He smiled at his last couple of sentences, turning his iPhone over in his hand after he sent it. He was unused to having Bella so close to him and not being in bed with her. WIth their conflicting jobs, it was hard to see each other as much as he would have felt comfortable, and this trek to England was supposed to be a sort of mini vacation. Well, not so much now, if he'd have to wait on Blair's stupid a** the whole time.

A brunette approached Nick, and although Nate knew very well he was engaged, it was impossible for him not to check her out -- old habits die hard. She was gorgeous, there was no denying that, and as competitive as ever, he couldn't help but feel a hint of envy as she asked to speak to Nick. "Go ahead. I'll give you a holler if -- when Blair shows up." Almost as soon as the words came out of his mouth, the woman in question arrived. Nate couldn't help but scoff. It was just like her to keep everyone waiting. In fact, she probably thought it made her entrance and presence all the more dramatic, since all eyes were on her.

Nate waited for the familiar twist in his stomach at seeing her, that feeling of longing he'd felt towards her when they were dating, even long after they broke up. Nothing came. Instead, all he felt was the deepest loathing and nothing more. Relieved, he smiled. "Well." He pushed his phone away and rubbed his hands together, elated at this latest discovery. "Let's get this show on the road."

Charlie's head was pounding, and felt like it was ready to explode, as he turned the keys in the ignition, putting the low rumble of the car to a silence, as he sighed. Finding a park had felt like it had taken forever, driving slowly in the jungle of cars, looking for an empty space to squeeze in. However, pulling through with something, he was quite satisfied for the moment, despite his acute pain in his temple.

Getting out of his car door, he went around to the other side of the car, and opened it for his darling wife, before she got helped her daughter out, and he smiled as his two favourite girls stood before him. As they made their way to the road, he chuckled slightly as Jezzabel asked Elizabeth if she wanted to hold her mothers hand whilst they crossed the not-so-busy road; Jez was refused with a mere independent shake of her head, and then her eyes lit up when she thought of a better deal.

"Can daddy give me a piggy-back?"

Nodding his head, Charlie smiled and said, "Why of course Daddy will, Elizabeth. You are Daddy's little girl, after all." And before, setting her upon his back, he winked at her and returned Jez's affectionate kiss on the lips, and whispering in his fiance's ear, "But you're my special girl." Turning back to Elizabeth, he motioned for her to climb on, leaning down a little, to make her ascent easier. "Hop on, Princess." As the little girl took a little leap onto his back, he shifted his weight so she was comfortable, and made sure she was holding on before crossing the road, with Jezzabel's arm around his waist. Closing his eyes for a brief second he smiled to himself, thinking he truly was the luckiest man in the world.

He was dressed for the occasion, formal but not too formal as he would be on the day. Making sure he was looking alright, he quickly gave a little tug on his shirt, pulling it down slightly where Elizabeth had pulled it up, as she had climbed upon his back. Following his wife to be into the church, when he had just stepped inside, he bent down for Elizabeth to slide off, as he didn't think it would be right if she had stayed on his back in a church. It didn't seem the polite thing to do at a wedding rehearsal. Turning to his little girl, he said quietly "Hold my hand." and grasped her tiny fingers in his palm, whilst his fiance beside him asked if he could see Blair anywhere. Scanning the crowd, he shook his head as she sent a text message, presumably to Blair, wondering where she was. When she was done, he took Jez's hand in his free one, and squeezed it gently, mouthing the words 'I Love You' to her, as he often did whenever he felt the need to let her know. As cliche as it sounded, he was blissfully in love, Jezzabel was the centre of his earth, what kept him going. And he felt like she had the right to know it. Charlie returned the nod that Nate gave him and his family, with a smile and a nod of his own. And then he began to wait.

Just standing there seemed to take forever, however he knew it really wasn't that long, because just before he seemed ready to give up hope and leave, she arrived through the church doors, and he gave her a smile as she did so, giving her a cute little nod and a half wave, with his and Elizabeth's hand intertwined. She looked happier than he'd ever seen her, and for that he was greatful. Nudging Jez, he sighed, and said playfully, "Aww, I guess i'll have to let you go greet your best friend then. Too bad I have to let go." Letting go of her hand, rather slowly and softly, he quickly leaned down (he was a fairly tall man) and kissed her quickly on the lips, not wanting to get too carried away in public, despite what he desperately wanted.

He found himself extremely relieved when Blair wrote back only a short time after,

                                  alright.
                                  sure thing.

He looked up to the crowd, though he still was quite rattled. What would she need to talk to him about? Nick had thought everything had been taken care of for the wedding. What else did Blair possibly need? Want? Perhaps a quickie, or something of the sort. Nick didn't know. It was times like these Nick had wished he had gotten to know Blair a bit better before the engagement. Because he didn't know her as well as someone like Bella, or Nate, did. He flashed a halfhearted smile towards everyone before a beautiful girl named Pammy appeared, rather quickly asking to be somewhere private. Then Sam walked over, patted him on the back and introduced himself to Pammy. Then Nate smacked his back and assured him Blair was on the way. These assurances hardly made Nick feel any better.

He wanted to talk to Pamela. It'd be a nice distraction.

But if Blair arrived, what would she think? Relax, he told himself. Just getting cold feet. Cold feet. Hah. Try frozen feet. Nick was feeling so numb, so unlike himself. He hated this kind of feeling, but he supposed it would all go away once he and Blair were married.

                            Right? Right?

"S-Sure," he began without thinking, "But not too far. Blair should be here soon..." his voice trailed off, and he once again glanced over all the exits that led into the chapel, hoping to see Blair walking in. But no such luck. What the hell could she be doing? A string of possibilities hit him, and none of them were very pleasant. Though he hated to think Blair was with Ben and doing some bad, he couldn't help it. That was just how Blair was. It was in her blood to be flirtatious - not to mention re-dig up old flames and rekindle them.

But was Ben really just a flame? After what had happened at the hotel, Nick had tried to tell himself it was just that. But come now, he wasn't so sure.

She needed to be here right now, more like it. Nick needed her. He needed to know she wanted him as badly as he wanted her. That she loved him just as much as he loved her. That she wanted to marry him.

Standing there stark naked, Bella propped her hands on her hips and peered around the bedroom. Clothes lay scattered across the floors and empty wine bottles and glasses were set on several surfaces - room service was a common call from their room. Mostly of the alcoholic or dessert sort. Thinking of dessert - Bella was rather hungry. Flipping her hair over her shoulder, she stole another glance around the room, picking up a pair of Nate's boxers and pulling them on. Nate buzzed back only a second following:

                                            nate,
                                            can't say i'm surprised either.
stupid ho needs attention 24/7 and what better way to get it than standing up her fiance at her rehearsal?
                                            i'm sure she's with ben.

i'm standing here in nothing but a pair of your boxers.
sure you can just sit there and wait for the b***h-to-be?

                                            xoxo

She tossed her phone onto the bed after she sent the message, stepping into the glorious marble bathroom and meeting her reflection with a smirk. Even with a lack of make-up, Bella was a sight for sore eyes, and she knew it. She was beautiful, she was breath-taking. She was a Goddess in her own right, and Bella knew it so. And she made sure everyone else knew it, as well. Because people couldn't just ignore royalty when they saw it. She ran her fingers through her silky locks before walking back into the bedroom. She supposed Nate would be here soon, after leaving that tidbit of being in his boxers. She didn't really have much to do here except just that - wait.

Bella waltzed over to the bed and sat down, thinking. Blair probably was with Ben. And doing God knows what. God, she was such a skank. This Nick guy really loved her, and she was ditching him for a sleaze like Ben? Granted, he was a pretty good-looking sleaze. But still. Ben couldn't keep his hands on one girl for very long - even Bella knew not to get involved with him. And she'd learned the hard way, after finding out he was still in love with Blair. God.

xxxxxxxxxhere comes the bride all dressed in white.

xxxxxxxxxxxI'M MRS. LIFESTYLES OF THE RICH AND FAMOUS.

Blair shuffled her feet awkwardly at the door, look up at the people staring at her. Usually that would have been a good thing, having all eyes on her. At this moment it didn't feel to great at all. She'd much rather have them all doing their own thing, rather then staring at her. She was already nervous and the attention only made it worse.

Her eyes moved from familiar faces all around the room, most faces that she missed seeing everyday of her life and then there was Nate. God, he just had to be here at this very moment. Couldn't he be of somewhere, possibly ******** Bella considering that's all the two were actually good at. Moving in the room, Blair silently made her way over to Nick. She spotted another girl talking to him, she could wait. What Blair had to say was probably much more important then whatever she was going to mention. Trying her best to give the girl a proper smile and not an awkward one or one of those you should really get the hell out of here smiles "I'm so sorry, could you
excuse us for a second? I was just wondering if you would let me steal my fiancee from you?"
Blair gave the girl another nod, before taking Nick's hand and gently pulling him of to an empty corner.

Throwing her arms around his neck, Blair leaned in to give him a quick yet passionate kiss. "Hey..." she pulled away looking into his eyes as she felt the guilt run through her body at the speed of like. She couldn't believe herself, how could she be such a b***h? The way his eyes looked at her, she could tell that he loved her and here she was carrying another mans child? "I'm so sorry, i'm late..." her voice came out lower then she'd expected. She gave him a weak smile, before placing her head on his chest. Knowing that Nick was hers was amazing. Hadn't she said that about Ben?

God she was a selfish b***h.

She wanted him to hold her just one last time before she told him everything. After that Nick Walsh wouldn't be hers. Quietly listening to the sound of his steady heart beat, Blair look up at Nick again this time, her eyes filled with worry.

(she stands with a well intentioned man...but she can't relax)

                                        Realization struck.

He could try to make her leave Nick. But in the end, that would break her heart because Ben simply wasn't that guy. He wasn't a father. He wasn't a boyfriend or a fiance or a husband. He wasn't anything she wantd except a decent ******** every now and then when she got bored with her own goddamn 'real' relationships. He couldn't let her make this mistake. He couldn't let her ruin things with Nick and ruin her fairytale, ruin the rest of her life by making her call off the one thing she had always wanted. That was just selfish. Why? So he wouldn't have to live with a secret? He'd held secrets before...sure, in Dalton, they all had a nasty way of getting out in the end, but he would keep his lips sealed if that's what she wanted. She'd be better off being half-happy with Nick with slight hints of guilt, then miserable and lonely after failing to make an honest man out of Ben Luthor. They had tried, time and time again, to rekindle the flame. But the fire always got out of control and someone always got burned - whether it was Nick or Nate or Ben or Blair. He had to stop her. He had to do something. Ben pulled out his phone. He had to tell her, before it was too late.

                                        [********, b.
tell nick the kid is his.
                                        it's better...for everyone.
we both no I'm not a father.

He put his phone away, running his hand through his hair. He didn't know where Lourdes was. He decided to try the hotel. It seemed like a good place to start, and besides,t here was no way in hell he was going to that church. God would probably smite him. Within a matter of minutes he had returned to the extravagant hotel, and in a matter of seconds, he had arrived at the hotel bar. He paid a ridiculous amount of money for a shot of vodka, the alcohol burning his throat as it went down. But God, he felt better. A little looser, as if somehow, the booze had loosened his shoulders and took a bit of the stress and uncertainty out of the situation. All would be okay, as long as he was drunk off his a**, right? Buying one more shot - it was night back home, right? That totally justified getting drunk at...ten in the morning? What the hell time was it anyway?

Ignoring the thought, he took off in search of his own hotel room. His eyes glanced at the numbers, falling on one door. He had seen Nate disappear into it as he rounded the corner yesterday - which meant that unless for some reason, Bella had gone to the rehearsal, she was in there. Things had never ended great between them, mostly because Ben had ******** it all up (big shocker there). But all he knew was that he wanted someone to talk to, otherwise, he'd get completely wasted and sleep the rest of the day away with no real justification for it. At least, not one he could tell people. Hesitantly, he put his hand to the door and knocked loudly. "Bella?" he asked through the wood. "Are you in there?" he said loudly, praying she'd answer. He didn't know where Lourdes was or what she was doing or what Blair was doing and...it was all just building up. He needed to talk to someone...or at least, sit there in awkward, brooding silence. "I'm having one of those days where you rethink every decision you've ever made, and verbally expressing my musings is a hell of a lot less awkward if someone else is there..." he tried to explain.

                                  Every one of his decisions.

                                  Including her.

But no, oh God no, he wasn't looking for sex. Of course not! It wasn't as if he was lonely and feeling guilty and rejected and confused and wanted to drown his sorrows in booze and a pretty former-flame. Because that wasn't what he did at all. "Please?" he pleaded, feeling pretty pathetic at the moment. "For old times sake?" Ben begged. He just wanted to see her, to know that someone in the world existed besides Blair and bartenders.

The b***h had been flipping through channels when an abrupt knock, followed by a very familiar voice calling her name. Bella jumped, realization hitting her. Okay, she was in a pair of Nate's boxers and nothing else. That was nor presentable or lady-like of her. But what the hell was Ben even doing here? Hurt pooled inside, and she winced slightly. Though that was what Ben was best at - ******** life up for the rest of them and keeping just himself happy. Bella walked towards the door, catching the bit on rethinking all his decisions. Did that mean that b*****d wanted sex? Oh hell no. Though she definitely liked the idea - it had been some time since she'd kissed Ben Luthor's lips - she was engaged now. To Natie. To someone who remotely cared about her. Ben knocked on the door again, and Bella had to smile at how pathetic he sounded. Something really must've been up.

Bella opened the door halfway, hiding her topless self behind the door. "You should know I'm only wearing a pair of Nate's boxers," she began, holding her hand out to show Ben the ring. "In case you didn't know." Bella stood there awkwardly for another long moment, "So did you ******** things up with Blair again? Granted she's getting married in a few days...?" Her tone was mocking now. She couldn't help but take the upper hand in the situation after what Ben had done to her. Pick at his conscience a little. The hurt settled a little by then. "Let me put on a bra and you can come in...if you keep your pants on," she smirked, letting go of the door and flashing her bare back to Ben, bent over and picked up a stray black, lacy bra from the floor. She did not turn back until it was firmly clasped and covered her - despite the fact it was lingerie, and one of the ones she had bought specifically for Nate.

"Come hear to tell me your shitty life story and try to get me to have sex with you in sympathy?" she chuckled, putting her hands on her hips. "Nate might be on his way up - since you probably ******** up the entire wedding by keeping Blair away from her rehearsal. Seriously Ben, what gives you the balls to do something like that? Is it impossible to keep it in your pants? Can't you just leave Blair alone?" Whoa. Telling Ben to leave Blair alone? That wasn't something she might've done a loooong time ago, when they had been somewhat best friends. But now they were just another LC and Heidi from The Hills. Ben was easily Spencer, except he was a lot more attractive. Nate was Brody.

"Do explain Ben. I'd like to hear it," she said honestly, sitting down on the bed, trying not to sex herself up to much in her attire. But it was extremely hard, especially with eye candy like Ben standing there. She was constantly reminding herself of the weight on her ring finger - that she was engaged - but it was also, proving very difficult.

                                      [********] Damn Ben Luthor.

(she stands with a well intentioned man...but she can't relax)

She poked her head out, telling him she was only half-dressed. That was supposed to make him go away? Did she think she was talking to a gentleman? That only drew a smile from Ben's lips. Bella shoved her hand out through the door, the diamond making a glare flash in his eye. Yes, he ******** knew that Nate was whipped enough to get down on one knee and voluntarily get himself a ball and chain...a ******** hot ball and chain, but nonetheless, commitment was still commitment. And rings came off. Blair was proof. He rolled his eyes at her next comment. Yeah, sure, rub it his face, whatever Bella. Fine, she wanted to take the opportunity to be a b***h, that was her right. He had been an a** to her. "Aww, you know you don't have to get dressed for me," he told her earnestly as he stepped into the room.

Bella turned around, and he tried hard to keep his eyes on her pretty face instead of her bare skin. God she was pretty. God, he missed her. She had always been a good [********] girlfriend, hadn't she? "How you underestimate me, Bella de Luca," he scoffed. "You think I only came here for sex? Can't an old friend come to talk to an old friend?" he said, his tone slightly joking. They weren't exactly old friends...and he was Ben. Coming to people for sex was pretty much what he did. She brought up Blair again - how the hell did she know that was what was wrong? "And I never even said I saw Blair today, thank you very much," he retorted, sitting on the bed beside her and falling backwards, staring up at the ceiling of the hotel room. "It's not Blair," he lied easily, his eyes drifting from the ceiling tiles down to her nearly bare back, thinking of how easy it would be to lift his arm and pull her shoulder, pull her down onto the bed next to him, kiss her and...

                                        No.

                                        Well...

                                        No.

"It's just...weddings in general, you know?" he said, lying again. It was Blair, and they both knew that, but it wouldn't be any fun (or safe, considering who her fiance was) to tell her the truth and actually talk about his feelings. It was so much more entertaining to keep them inside, sleep with a couple of girls, destroy a few more relationships before the lies broke and the truth came out. "Makes you wonder if it's all worth it," he added on. "But I shouldn't say that to you, right? You're getting your own fairytale, aren't you?" Ben asked. Was Nate still the egotistical cheater Ben knew him to be, or had Bella somehow worked her wiles on him enough to get him to change his ways? Unlikely. His and Nate's friendship had ended long ago, but Ben still knew Nate pretty damn well. Or at least, the old Nate.

She never said she wouldn't sleep with him...she had just warned that Nate might be returning soon, right? Old habits, old habits. He had already destroyed one of Nate's almost wives, it wouldn't exactly a surprise if he did it again...Ben sat back up, his shoulder brushing against Bella's as he stared into her dark eyes. "Is love all it's cracked up to be?" he questioned, dipping his head down enough to rest his chin on her shoulder, never breaking his gaze from her eyes. "Because it just seems like a bunch of bullshit to me," he turned his head towards the closed door, his lips brushing lightly against her bare shoulder. Ben turned his head back towards her, looking at her flawless features, waiting for an answer to part those perfectly full lips...those lips he was just dying to kiss again...

Bella rolled her eyes at Ben's mocking tone. "My a** you weren't with Blair. C'mon Ben. Do you think I'm stupid?" Bella intoned, crossing her arms and shaking the hair from her eyes, "And I'm sure you were totally expecting at least something remote from me. God Ben, has being around Blair made you dumber?" She said, her eyes following him as he sat down and fell back. The strange sentimentality in his voice made Bella irked. Where the ******** did he get this s**t? Howtoscore.com? Though she did miss Ben's devilish attitude. They were alike in more ways than one. Bella had been exactly like him, before Nate had popped the question. She hadn't cheated on him since.

But rings came off just as easily as they were put on.

"Only you would think that," she commented, glancing at the television. The show was now only background noise now. Crossing and uncrossing her long, tanned legs, glancing over her shoulder at Ben. She couldn't help but admire his strong, rigid features. Not to mention hot body. ********. "Weddings are used to glamorify love. Show off how rich you are. And if you think this..." Bella raised her hand and dangled the ring at Ben, "Is a fairytale, you're better wrong." Sure, it was all happy. Her and Nate were finally going to be together, forever. Once they were married, unless Nate or Bella cheated, no one could interfere. Because she got the feeling Nate was no longer interested in Blair, and this wedding would seal the deal. If that said wedding happened. Bella glanced back at Ben. "If you ******** up this wedding, I'll kill you," her gaze steadied on him as he rose. Bella sucked in a deep breath as his gaze penetrated her own, making her feel wary and insignificant. How the ******** did he do that?

"Depends on who you're asking," she said in a soft voice, easily lost in his shocking eyes. ********. "And only you..." her voice trailed off as she felt Ben's lips graze her shoulder. It was a tingling, soft touch - but it got the girl all bothered again. She kept trying to tell herself that Nate would be back soon - but that only made it more exciting. It really wouldn't hurt, would it? Nate would never know, they'd get married, and happily ever after. She'd just do this for herself, to get it out of her system forever. That sounded easy and perfect. A perfect plan. Bella moved into him, pressing her hand into his chest and leaning forward. "People have several definitions of love, Ben. But you and I don't really have one," she said, her lips drawing back into a smile. It was true, in that sense. Bella had never really experienced love. Really because, she and Nate hadn't been together long enough for her to feel it. Or with any of her flings. It was all too short. But she didn't know with Ben - after confessing her feelings for him on that rooftop, perhaps...? Perhaps he was beginning to feel the same?

Ah, Dalton Heights was so messed up.
