`Plots`

Summer vacation is almost at the end, and of course it had to end badly. The Senior star football player was killed in a tragic car accident by a drunk driver. The drunk driver? Was the local Alcoholic/Party boy who had too much to drink that night. The Senior killed was the older brother of the Jock, and it has devastated the poor kid.

The girlfriend of the Senior is the Prep girl, and all she can think about is hatred towards the Party guy and all his friends. So her first attack is towards the Outcast girl, harassing and embarrassing her in nay way possible.

The Nerd has a huge crush on the Prep girl and has since middle school, but he might have to put those feelings aside to protect his best friend, the outcast girl.

The Techy was dating the Booknerd, though they broke up because of major drama in the new school year. The Band geek is no longer friends with Booknerd girl and Techy because he started drama between them. He is the reason the two broke up.

The New Guy gets to be friends with the Outcast girl, but hates her boyfriend because of his bad influence on her. He also starts to notice the Writer, though thinks he has no chance with her.

The Dance Freak and Hopeless Romantic are best friends, though they are letting their crush on the Jock get in between their friendship.

The Writer is crushing on the New Guy, though she is trying to stay out of everyone's drama. It is also hard when her best friend is getting into boyfriend drama.

The Gothic and Druggie are enemies, though they have to work together on a school project. The druggie couldn't care less about the project, but he is being threatened by his mother to do it or else he will be sent to live with his father, the man he despises even more then school. The two may just become best friends or even more. ^-^

The Tom Boy and Druggie are cousins and she only wants what is best for him. Even if that means getting between him and his relationships.

The Outcast Guy and Druggie are best friends and have been since freshman year.


The Outcast guy is crushing on the booknerd, but she despises him because of his bad habits.

The Scene girl and Druggie are also best friends, but the Scene girl has been distant because of her own unknown and secret drama.

The Foreign guy just came in and has no idea what had happened. He only knows a guy died. Though he is instantly attracted to the Prep girl when he first gets to the school. He doesn't like the way she is acting though is wants to change her ways of catty attitudes and bitchiness. xD

Lately though, rumors were started about them both, making them to pull apart. At the end of Sophomore year, they both found out that their third best friend, the band geek, was the cause of the rumors and drama. By that time though, it had gone too far and Alex was forced to break it off with Edele. He hated it of course, though too much trouble and pain had been caused.

Specifically because he doesn't really do the whole party scene and hates alcohol. Because he's a jock, he does go to the occasional party, but never drinks. For one, he is a lightweight, and just simply hates the taste of alcohol.

Her father kept investing in the wrong things, which led them to the life they have now. But she's content with her life, she has an amazing family, and an amazing boyfriend. Mimi didn't mind being the outcast girl in school, it didn't really bother her. After all she has an amazing boyfriend and best friend. She knows everything about the accident with her boyfriend and the jock's brother and the prep girl's boyfriend, and she feels incredibly guilty even though she wasn't directly involved. Never once did she think if was bad or illegal until her home got raided by the police and Sasha was taken away from her parents and was put into foster care. That was 17 years ago. Sasha is now a senior in this dull town and all she wants to do IS MOVE THE F***K OUT! No one understands her, no one will take the time to get to know her, and she just feels so alone. Her only outlet is her Violin and Piano. Those two instruments are her LIFE! Ever since Sasha could remember her and Jay have been enemies. Myka puffed her cheeks out and let out a sigh. School was over and the weekend was here! Just a repeat of the last 10 years of her life, but the weekend was always looked forward too. Of course because it was escape from the boring white walls of the classrooms within the school. The hallway always held some strange smell that was either coming from the Chemistry lab or the cafeteria. Myka walked off the school property and crossed the street. Her bag hung to her side, filled with notebooks and a couple reading books. Her glasses didn't accompany her face today. She had them tucked away in the glasses case that sat in her bag with her creativity. Myka pursed her lips a bit, looking both ways and waiting for a car to go by. Myka crossed another street and ended up on Memory Lane. It was an odd name for a street. Though it was ironic at the same time. It was weird to call it that for a simple reason. That was also a phrase people used when looking back into the past. So people would come on this street to remember things? A nice cafe sat on the right side of the road. Rachel's Cafe was the only cafe in the small town, so it got a lot of business. Mostly students would go and hang out since it was only a block away from the high school. The cafe held a pool table, TV, lounging area and really good drinks. Myka would find herself snuggled on a sofa, a book in one hand and a ice coffee in the other. She was a bit addicted to them to tell the truth.

Myka walked passed the cafe and headed right to the bookstore. Dusty Books was the name of it, which made her smile a bit. If you want upstairs, the books were way older and not touched a lot. They held a lot of dust along with fantastic stories. The old binding and covers tricked people into making themselves look boring. Though they should go by the phrase, 'Never judge a book by it's cover'. Myka did. With a smile and a wave, Myka greeted the woman behind the counter. Miss Dane was a sweet older woman who loved books more then Myka and anyone else in the town probably. She took care of each book and fixed each binding by hand. She always enjoyed the bookworms into her store. Myka slid a book onto the counter and smiled. "Donation!" she beamed and looked at the shelf behind the counter. "Anything new?" she asked. "Not today," the woman sighed, taking the book and setting it on a cart. Myka nodded and tapped her fingernails on the counter. "I'll look upstairs." she said then left for the stair case. Myka opened a large wooden door and revealed a iron spiral staircase. One of the many good things about this old small town was it's unique stores. This was her favorite. The wooden walls made the rooms feel warm. It always smelled of old books and apple cinnamon.

Myka headed up the stairs and slowly and opened the second door to the upstairs room. It was large and dark. Myka flipped the lights on and looked around. She had a favorite shelf she was working on. The books seemed to be the best there. Folktale stories and such. Myths and Legends. Some of her favorite kinds of stories were here. Myka let her fingers touch the books as she went down to the end. She pulled out a small book with a plain green colored front and back. She flipped it open and read the first few pages. She smiled, liking it already and walked to the back. There were a set of chairs and a sofa here. Two square tables were set with the chairs and a coffee table was in front of the sofa. The cherry dark wood went perfectly with the walls and hardwood floors. Myka sat down on the sofa and pulled out her notebook. She started writing in it a bit, then stopped. She hadn't written in her journal today. She pulled out a leather covered book and untied the string. She opened to the right page and clicked for led on her pencil.

August 10th, 2012

Today was again the same as yesterday and the day before that. I sat in a cold desk and listened to teachers lecture then pass papers out to us. I already got most of the worksheets done, though I am slightly dreading my math homework. I had a bit of problems today, but I think they are worked out. Though I had a distraction again. You have already heard about this distraction as I wrote about it last week and probably the week before that. Ashton sits next to me and was also having problems. We spent the whole hour doing 4 problems. The teacher paired us up since he was new and i was..err.."smart". Just because my grade is an A, doesn't mean I understand it all completely. I just do my work with a lot a of questions for people. I actually ask the teachers for help. Ashton kept making me laugh because he was cracking jokes about the work and stuff. Why does that boy have to be so cute? Or more like, why do I have to crush on him? Maybe it was his sense of humor, or how he is nice. Enough of the crushing though, more drama went on. The senior head jock was killed last Saturday. Drunk Driving, probably on both drivers. Of course this sent the school into a dramatic downfall. People who didn't even know him cried. I felt like I didn't have the right to cry over him. It was sad yes, but I didn't know him, so why should I cry? Along with this drama, my best friend is going though a frenzy with her now ex boyfriend. I was friends with both of them, and it was saddening to see them break it off. They were perfect for each other and always got each other. Both dorky and sweet. Of course someone who I am not going to name, got in between them and spread rumors. I was shocked it was him, and it angered me slightly. Why do that to your own friends? He lost two friends in the process of his jealousy. I am guessing it was jealousy because I can't think of any other stupid reason. Well, I am going to read this new book now. Peace out Journal.

Myka set her journal to the side and picked up the book again and flipped to the first page. Her eyes read the words intently as she relaxed and cleared her mind of the troubling thoughts.
