Jaelyn didn't want her role as alpha but being the daughter of the previous alpha gave her no choice. She didn't want to disappoint daddy though so she took the position after he passed away a week ago. Being the youngest alpha to take over the pack puts a lot of pressure on her. She hasn't even found a mate yet. She just wanted to be young but now she has to grow up. She loves her pack and loves that most of them back her up. MOST of them at least. She has a few enemies within the pack but her beta and the ones that have her back will not let anything happen to Jaelyn. She grew up very sheltered though, until she turned of age. That's when her father started training her. She wasn't allowed to go out and party like the other pack members who didn't have the same responsibility as Jae.

Growing up, Jaelyn was the girl who always stood by her side. The two grew up closer then ever, and considered each other best friends. Neither of them know if the two are more then that though. Rory has stuck by her side since the day of his birth. When she was never to go out with the other wolves, Rory was always the one to stay behind with her. The day she began training, he spent his days training with her. Together they made a great team, seeing how their parents had left her as Alpha and Rory as beta. He is her wing-man, and would jump in front of a bullet to save her life any day. With his ambitious spirit and superior intelligence, Rory makes sure to keep the pack in check when the tough time gets rough. Now that Jaelyn is Alpha, Rory is keeping a closer eye on the pack.

Now that Jaelyn has taken over Micah is even more volatile, a result of the lack stability and feelings of uncertainty about Jaelyn's leadership ability.

Nixon has always been quiet ever since his mother died when he was fifteen years old. He was close to her and he had watched her suffer for years from an illness the doctors couldn't cure. When she died, Nix ran away from home. Away from his now drunk father who couldn't cope with the loss of his mate. That was when he met a female, one like him. She was in a pack and she brought him to meet the old alpha of the kestrel pack. He welcomed Nix with open arms. That was 10 years ago. Now he's still pretty much quiet but he does talk to the girl who he considers his best friend. He loves her more then that though but she doesn't seem to see how he feels. He opens up though more and more everyday to others. Nixon would die for Jaelyn as well. The new alpha.

[Calla's family has been apart of the Kestrel pack for a very long time, pretty much since its beginning, however her parents were killed when she was only twelve, after that the pack became her parents, and felt responsible for protecting her. This wasn't an easy task for them because Calla was always seen as weak, ever since she was a child and diagnosed with Hemophilia. This disorder made it difficult and dangerous for her to play with her pack mates, or even participate in most pack activities. However, this did not stop her due to her stubbornness. Soon the other pack mates realized that she could survive because Calla was and is a fighter. But it wasn't enough hardship for her, soon her Hemophilia developed into Acute Myeloid Leukemia, a rare form of cancer of the blood. But she is a survivor and after five years of fighting, she went into remission at the age of sixteen. Bleeding is still an issue for her, and must be watched but other than being a little over protective of her, the pack treats her with respect because she can hold her own as good as anyone else. Although she does tend to be a little reckless and gets herself into trouble most of the time, always keeping the pack on ther toes.]
