A thin brow was raised in question when Anastasiya heard her sister's response. "Oh, really?" She said skeptically before sighing and shaking her head. "You really are a terrible liar, Bellatrix." The only reason Ana said the girl's first name, was because she knew it bothered her, but that was the price for lying. Glancing over at the werewolf, Anastasiya noticed that the video camera she had was still on, which bothered her a little bit. Soon, the thing shut down, as if the battery had run out. Of course, it would work just fine when Ana walked away, but for now, it would just seem dead. All because it being on bothered her a bit. When the woman looked back at Echo, she noticed the slightest frown on her lips. Being the worried older sister, she wanted to ask about it, but she chose to wait until they were both back home. "I'm heading back home now...I need to get out of these clothes." Her scrubs smelled like the hospital and if she kept them on, she'd knew she'd end up going back to pick up another shift; it was something that had happened plenty of times before. "I guess I'll see you later, little sister." with that said, Ana walked away from the two girls, and back to her car, so that she could go home.

It didn't take Anastasiya very long at all to get home. Once inside, she headed straight up to her room, to shower, and change out of her scrubs. After she was done, she headed out to the garage, trying her best to decide where to go, and then - of course - which car to take. Finally making up her mind, she grabbed the keys to her Black Ferrari F430 and headed out to get a cup of coffee and maybe something sweet at the diner owned by the Anderson's eldest son. Of course, if she saw him there, that would just be an added bonus for her.

Brahm couldn't stop the yawn that over took his mouth. It had been unusually slow all day, and his last customer just left more than fifteen minutes ago. Sighing dejectedly to himself, he walked around the counter and to collect the two small plates that were left behind in the front corner booth. Once he reached the table, he noticed that there was more food on the actual table itself than on the plate. Shaking his head, he picked up the dishes and headed back to the kitchen. "If it stays like this, I might as well close up." he muttered to himself as he placed the plates in the sink and turned on the faucett. As he waited for the water to heat up, he thought back to the conversation that he had with his parents a few days ago. More so his mother. 'Grandbabies..really? I'm only twenty-three for God's sake.' he thought to himself . Frowning at the memory, he started to absentmindly wash the rest of the dirty dishes. A few minutes later, after the dishes were sitting in a rack drying, Brahm took a wet rag and walked back to the front of the diner to clean off the messy table.

He wasn't expecting anyone to be in the house, both parents were at their firms, so of course as soon as the sound of heels clicking on the floor echoed into the hallway that Derryl was in, he turned sharply on the balls of his toes, and stopped growling. It could have been anyone from town that decided to enter the Black Manor without knocking. Which only added to the boy's aggravation. He was in no mood or appearance to greet guests. Sighing heavily he ducked into the bathroom in the hall, and ripped off his shirt, soaking part of it and ran it over his face and hair in order to get as much ice cream off of his head as possible. Tossing the black shirt into a corner he walked out of the bathroom and into the foyer, crossing his arms and leaning against the wall. "Isn't that the question I should ask you? Don't you know how to kno-" The oldest of the twins stopped short, seeing Josephine standing in the foyer. In shock, his mouth fell open, it had been a century since he had last seen his older sister. So he shook his head, and rubbed his eyes with the heel of his palm, perhaps the ice cream had made his eyesight blurry. "Josephine?!" Derryl looked different, 100 years ago he didn't have the lip ring, or the tattoo just under his eye. He definitely looked anti-lawyer. As he had always been.

Rhianu didn't say anything about Echo's explanation, instead she gave a vague smirk when Anastasiya called her little sister out on being a bad liar. Then a funny thing happen, her camcorder suddenly shut off. "No way! I just charged you!" Frantically she hit the power button, then checked the battery. Frustrated, she turned away from the two vampires, looking it over to see if maybe she had gotten ice cream somewhere that would make her beloved recording device stop working. "I swear I charged it.." It must have been my idiot brother, he's always ruining things for me. Now that was a lie, really, but Rhianu didn't care. She would blame Rex because he was the last one to touch her camera without her permission. As soon as Anastasiya walked away the camera's power turned back on, to Rhianu's surprise. Whirling around she gave a small little hop of joy. "I got it to work again Bella!" Then, realizing that the older vampire sister was gone, she cocked her head to the side, watching the Audi pull away. Rhianu turned to her friend, curious. "What happened?" Ah, thanks to the concern over her beloved camera, she was oblivious to why Anastasiya left, or what conversation they might have had. But to the younger twin that didn't matter so much at the moment, she saw Echo frowning, looking in the direction of Rinu's family home. "You're acting funny, you never make that face. Is something wrong?" She figured it had something to do with her brother, and didn't even bother to record the rare expression with her camera. She said she was okay, but I swear if that jerk hurt her, he's going to suffer more than a brain freeze!

Josephine stopped right inside the foyer as she heard someone coming back out of the bathroom. The only reason she knew it was the bathroom was because she could hear the water briefly running. "Well maybe you should learn to lock your doors.." she said with a slight smirk. Raising an eyebrow, she looked on in shock as her younger brother stepped out into the foyer as soon as she finished her sentence. "Derryl?!" she asked as she took in his appearance. The tattoo was a bit odd, but it and the lip ring seemed to suit him. 'His voice has gotten deeper.' she thought to herself absentmindedly. Jo couldn't even begin to say how much she missed her younger siblings, but didn't know how they would react to seeing her, because after all it had been over a good century that they have last seen each other. So instead of walking forward to hug him, she stayed inside the foyer's doorway. 'But hey, atleast he still recognizes me..' she thought nervously as she tried to keep the twitch out of her face.

The child without a name grew up to be the hand.
To watch you, to shield you or kill on demand.

Echo's eyes were back on her older sibling as she heard her speak, flinching involuntarily when she heard her first name. She was okay with being called basically anything, just as long as no one ever used her first name, like her sister had done. Of course, her family knew that, and would only call her so when she was either in trouble or caught lying. Echo regained her apathetic composure when Anastasiya say she was heading home now, giving her a slight nod. "Alright... have fun." Meaning, "Have fun trying to find something to do in this boring town."

Watching her sister leave, Echo heard all of Rhianu remarks about her video camera when it mysteriously shut down, giving the car an, almost unnoticeable, curious expression. The young vampire had been noticing odd reactions from many mechanical devices whenever her older sister was around, and had been questioning why for a while, but never really tried finding an answer. Glancing back at her friend, Echo silently shook her head. "She just saw your brother tackle me and wanted to make sure I was okay." She answered her as she ran her fingers through her silver locks again, taking a moment to think through on how she should answer Rinu's second question. "Uh, fine. I-I think I just need something to eat..." Did Echo just slightly stutter? Then you know something was wrong with her. Maybe she did need some food in her, after all, all she ate that morning was an apple.

If ever such a thing were possible, the boy actually smiled. Yes, he had forgotten the entire fiasco about the dress, and the reason why his sister left for a whole century. Why, he was only his three hundreds back then. He walked forwards quickly, as if he was going to hug Josephine, but stopped short, giving her space between them, he looked her over, seeing nothing had changed very much after such a long time, she looked more independent was the only thing he could think. "Where have you been!? Are you going to stay for long? This town is boring bu-" He realized he was rambling, mister grumpy, the family's silent child almost started rambling. And he was smiling, have we mentioned that before. But realizing this he turned a slight shade of pink and looked down, stuffing his hands in his pockets, trying to regain his composure. But when he looked back up, he just couldn't hide the grin on his face. Apparently he hadn't held a grudge against his older sister after all of these years. "Rinu, Josephine is home!"

Only Rhianu could hear her brother's loud thought, and it had been that way for a long time. They often kept their telepathic abilities to themselves, and stayed out of each others thoughts out of respect. But the bond of twins allowed Rhianu to feel that something was up long before she heard the message. And Rhianu was choosing to ignore that feeling as she paid attention to Echo. "She sounds like a very nice older sister." She smiled, she got extremely nervous around any of Echo's other family members, and the smile showed that, just a little. Rhianu was playing with the screen that flipped open on her camcorder, wanting to record something, but without her brother near, and with Echo upset about something, the photomaniac just didn't have the heart. Echo stuttered. "Did she just stutter?!" Yes, Rhianu did know something was wrong, and it set the hyperactive girl into one of her little rampages. She grabbed a hold of Echo's hand. "Maybe you have low blood sugar, or something. Come on, my treat we can go anywhere in this town. It doesn't have to be McDonald's either! Town like this, McDonald's? Why not, Rhianu frequented the place, there were so many different kinds of people to catch on photo. Then she jumped up on the spot. "Maybe you hit your head when Brother tackled you! He's such a jerk!" That's when she got the mental telegram, which immediately settled her down. It was rare that Rex ever used long distance telepathy, and she knew it meant something big. So, in contrast to her sudden burst in energy, she closed her eyes. "I don't care! Tell her to go back to Brazil or something!"

Rex's smile faded a little, still standing in front of Josephine, as if he had a sudden thought, which basically he did. "Don't send me that feeling! I don't want to see her!" Rex decided to drop it, but instead decided to wonder why Rhianu was so upset. She could just be angry about something else, or maybe she was still mad at Josephine for whatever reason. Either way, the concern played on his face for a moment.

Rhianu opened her eyes again, then grinned at Echo. "Come oooon! Let's go get you some food before you pass out and go into a coma!" She started to walk, dragging Echo a long. It was rare that Rhianu actually physically pulled Echo anywhere.

Josephine felt herself relax slightly as she noticed her brothers dipostion. Apparantly he either didn't remember or didn't care about the past, which to her was a huge relief. When she noticed him coming towards her, rambling a mile a minute she couldn't help the small grin that over took her face, slowly growing into a full blown grin as she notice him catch himself and blush. 'Aw..' she thought to herself amusedly. He headed towards her but before he got too close, he abruptly stopped and his grin fell just a little. She tilted her head to the side as she regarded him curiously. She wanted to hug him, but didn't know if should, or even if he would let her. Her brows drew together in a small frown, almost unnoticeable to anyone not looking, as she debated on whether or not to close the distance. Deciding to take a chance, she stepped fowards and wrapped her arms around him."I've missed you.." she muttered softly as she embraced him. Her body was slightly stiff because she was unsure on whether or not she had made the right decision in closing the distance between them.

Taken by surprise, he just stood there rigidly for a moment when Josephine hugged him. But he relaxed and smiled, patting her on the back. "Sorry if I'm sticky, ice cream incident... Deciding he didn't care if he got her sticky he hugged her back he was taller than he had been before, and he was surprised that she could almost rest his head on her chin. Just a few more inches. "But I missed you too, Josie." Derryl held his older sister tightly for a moment, this was probably the most he smiled in ages. After a moment of the loving embrace he held her away at arms length. "You really don't look any different, Sis. What have you been doing all of these years?"

Josephine's nose wrinkled slightly as she felt her arms try and stick to the back of Derryl's shirt. "Ice cream? I thought you were lactose and tolerant?" she asked curiously as she tried to wipe off her arms on her pants. Unfortunately, the ice cream had already dried so she would have to wash it off later in the shower. Looking back at Derryl's face, she raised an eyebrow at his inquiry. "Trying not to kill anybody.." she said dryly in answer to his question. "..that is kind of the reason why I've come home. I've been banned from Europe.." she said with annoyance coating her tone. 'Stupid humans..' she thought with a silent huff. "So where is everybody? Don't tell me that they actually decided to go out and find a life?" she asked in an innocent tone, widening her eyes to go along with her playful tone.

Anastasiya slowly drove back into town, not because she chose to, but because she was following the posted speed limit. It was now that she realized why she hadn't taken this particular car in quite a while; It was disappointing having to drive it this slow. "I think I need to go to Germany for a weekend..." She thought aloud to herself as she continued at the mind-numbingly slow pace for her. When Ana finally brought her Ferrari to a stop, she gave a sigh, almost seeming relieved when she stepped out of the vehicle. As she walked closer to the diner's door, a small frown came to rest upon her lips. There were no customers in there right now, and it seemed that Brahm was getting ready to close up for the day. Her emerald eyes looked toward the sign on the door, which still said it was open though, so she quietly walked forward, opened the door, and walked in a couple steps. "S-sorry...are you closing up already?" Anastasiya asked. "I stopped in because I just got off of work not too long ago and wanted some coffee and maybe something sweet...but if you're closing up, I'll leave." She gave the man a small smile, as if to reassure him it was fine if she left.

Brahm quickly looked up as he heard the small bell ding as the door opened. "No! Come on in! Please..you'd be doing me a favor." he said with a grin. Wiping his hands off, he placed his rag in his back pocket as he walked towards the beautiful woman that had just walked in. "My name is Brahm, and I don't believe I've had the pleasure of ever meeting someone with your beauty." he said with a charming smile as he ushered her towards the bar. He walked around the counter and headed towards the coffe pot. "I haven't had enough customers today to actually make any coffee, so its going to take a few minutes to brew. While we're waiting though, I could fix you up something to eat. You said you were in the mood for something sweet?" Brahm asked as he turned on the coffee pot and grabbed two mugs to set next to it. "I would offer myself, but I don't think that would be appropriate.." he said playfully as he turned back around to look at Anastasiya.

Echo silently nodded as she allowed Rinu to drag her somewhere, she didn't care where they went, just as long as they had decent food. Though, a very small smile was on her lips; Rinu worried too much whenever she didn't feel like herself, which happened rarely. "Anywhere is fine..." Echo spoke quietly as she took quicker steps, so her friend didn't have to drag her anymore. She sighed oh so quietly as she looked back at the Black manor, though she couldn't tell who it was, but another presence had appeared at the werewolves' home. She could hear it by the very quiet chatter she heard coming from inside the home's grand walls. Echo, looking back at Rinu, tilted her head just a little bit in curiosity. "Who's the visitor?" Was it a surprise that Echo was able to know when someone arrived or left the giant domain? No, not really. Echo and Rhianu had been friends for about three years now, plenty of time to find ways to listen in on the family when she was out in the park, just to see if the twins were up and about, nothing more. She was sure that Rinu would do the same thing if she wanted to... that is of course when she wasn't off being nervous for being around any of the Sterling occupants, besides Echo of course.

A small chuckle escaped her when he first spoke. “Oh, well in that case, I guess I’ll stay.” Ana told him. When he introduced himself, she nodded. The woman already knew his name and she’d seen him around before, though this was her first time actually talking to him. Despite that, she found him to be quite charming and cute, even if he was a human. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Brahm. I’m Anastasiya…Sterling. But, you could just call me Ana, or Anya.” When gave her first name, she began to speak with a Russian accent, and added her last name as an afterthought. After realizing that she’d been speaking in said accent, she said a quiet “Sorry about that…” in her usual, slight English accent. “Oh, and it’s no problem, really, I’m not in any rush.” Ana replied when Brahm said that the coffee would take a while. At his playful comment, Anastasiya pretended to look thoughtful before nodding. “Probably not…” She said with another laugh, though her cheeks tinged the slightest shade of pink, something that a human shouldn't really be able to notice. “And really, I’m not sure what I want…any suggestions?”

He chuckled, seeing her expression, but nodded, resisting the urge to run a hand through his hair, his fingers would only get stuck. He had a mischievous gleam in his eyes as he watched her try to wipe the ice cream off of her arms. "I've gotten over that mostly, actually Rhianu was upset with me." He shrugged, then blinked when she gave her reasons. "Banned from Europe?! What did you do now Josie? I thought Rhianu was bad!" True enough, Rhianu was banned from joining public schools. But Josephine moved on to another subject. He chuckled again, stuffing his hands in his pockets, "Actually I think Mum and Dad are at work. Rhianu made a friend..." He shook his head. "I think you have a lot to catch up on, do you know anything about this town?" Rex was quickly regaining his usual demeanor of quiet and grumpy looking. I wonder how she's going to react, knowing that Rinu is best friends with one of the local vampires...

Rhianu smiled, hearing that anywhere was fine, and finally started to slow down, realizing that she really had no idea where to go. The town had just a few eateries, besides a Wendy's and McDonald's, there was the restaurant owned by one of the Andersons.. Standing in place, she turned on the camera, pointing it at all of the nearby food joints as she tried to make a decision. She turned around, to look at Echo when she asked who the visitor was, then glanced at the Black Manor, making a face. A face that meant that she obviously wasn't very happy. In fact Rhianu had to take a deep breath to keep from growling. "Just my older sister." She said, her voice low from the suppressed growl. The girl had never mentioned Josephine before, and she hadn't been around for decades. Echo probably wouldn't find it odd that Rhianu already knew who was at the Manor, usually the girl could pick up the scent of the visitor, but this time she knew thanks to the telepathic telegram. Either way she didn't linger long, the camera zoomed in and focused on the closed front door. "Come on, I feel like Steak and Eggs!" She pulled Echo to Brahm's restaurant, entering to smell the fresh scent of coffee and... uh oh, Anastasiya.

Rhianu really had nothing against the woman, just.. was nervous. Looking like she was caught stealing candy, she looked back at Echo with a sheepish smile. "Wanna eat here?"
